Chiyoda District, Tokyo Electric Power Company headquarters building.

An ergency eting about Fukushima was being held in the top-floor conference room.

The executives seated on both sides of the long table were all old n.

They were either high-ranking officials who had reached mandatory retirent age or officials who had resigned to take the bla for their superiors and were subsequently assigned to executive positions at Tokyo Electric Power Company. Their previous posts ranged from the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry to the Environntal Agency, and so on.

Thanks to their complex network of relationships, Tokyo Electric Power Company had managed to avoid annual safety inspections. Even after the nuclear plant accident, they continually falsified reports to the governnt, ensuring the ocean discharge plan remained entirely feasible.

The person presiding over this eting was a young man with blue eyes and golden hair, the only young person in the conference room.

"Mr. Kenny," began Kobayashi Taro, the publicly recognized president of Tokyo Electric Power Company. He stood nearby, providing a detailed, incessant explanation. "According to information from our staff on site, there's no longer any nuclear radiation at the power station. This is a photo taken there. Both the nuclear reactors and the tanks storing nuclear wastewater have holes in them. What's strange," he continued, "is that not a drop of water was found at the scene, only a child's handprint left on the ground."

"Hold on. You're saying there's a child's handprint inside the nuclear power station? Isn't that a joke?" an old man with white hair and a beard raised his objection.

Despite repeatedly assuring the public that everything was fine, they knew the true situation—the radiation level there was so severe that even wearing protective gear would offer little protection.

How could a child possibly appear there, where not even adults could get close?

"It's impossible for children to be inside the nuclear power station. Could it be that the workers are dissatisfied with their wages and deliberately Photoshopped it?"

"Maybe a Tritium cartoon character appeared and took away all that troubleso nuclear wastewater!"

"HAHA."

This remark instantly elicited hearty laughter from the executives present.

Although they were there to clean up the ss, they did not hesitate to laugh when it was ti to do so.

The agency in charge of post-disaster reconstruction and nuclear accident managent truly had an unseemly appetite.

The 370 million yen in publicity funds—who knows how much they pocketed to produce that thing.

Kenny did not laugh.

Unlike these old-tirs who were detached from the center of power, he was still within the realm of authority and knew that sothing unusual was happening in Tokyo.

He hadn't been told the details by his old man, yet he understood that any strange occurrences in Tokyo could be linked to a man nad Dio.

Could this be Dio's doing? Kenny pondered, still unclear how Dio, as described by his father, could have managed it.

During the Chernobyl incident, hundreds of thousands of people were mobilized to resolve the catastrophe at the smallest possible cost.

Dio is only one man. How could he handle the nuclear wastewater and nuclear reactors at the power station? And how could he avoid such intense nuclear radiation? It's baffling.

Kenny had originally attended this eting to clarify what had happened, but the news he received only confused him further.

With a serious expression, Kobayashi Taro said, "I want to tell you, this is neither a prank nor a joke; it definitely happened! Please look at the photo taken on-site. Indeed, a child appeared inside the nuclear power station and left this handprint at the scene."

A photo was projected onto the screen on the wall.

The old n present frowned as they looked at the handprint on the ground.

"We are unaware of the exact course of events, but we must make good use of this incident to restore our reputation," said Kobayashi Taro, making his intention clear to everyone present.

Tokyo Electric Power Company had been under constant criticism over the nuclear plant incident. Furthermore, the recent ocean discharge plan they proposed faced obstruction from so countries on the international stage.

Now that the nuclear wastewater had suddenly disappeared, it was a clear opportunity. They could boast about the imnse effort Tokyo Electric Power Company had supposedly invested in resolving the nuclear plant issue and how they had managed to secure the reactors.

Only the ticulousness and etiquette of not troubling others, ingrained in them as Japanese, could have achieved such a miracle.

"Mr. Kenny, we hope that the Beirende Group can mobilize the Western dia to fully assist us with this incident."

"Yes, with the help of the Beirende Group, our heroic efforts in handling the nuclear power station will quickly beco hot news."

"Why not take this opportunity to produce a movie about how we dealt with the nuclear power station's predicant?"

"Hmm, you all discuss it. I'll go make a phone call."

A feeling of unease rose in Kenny's heart. These old-tirs really dare to dream big.

The situation was clearly bizarre, yet they still wanted to take credit.

He thought it best to excuse himself and manage things remotely.

...

Kenny stood up and walked towards the conference room door. No one suspected he was trying to flee; instead, they felt that Mr. Kenny was decisive and a man of action—worthy of being the second son of the Beirende Group's CEO.

He opened the conference room door.

A girl he did not recognize was standing in the corridor outside.

She had shoulder-length black hair and a pale complexion.

"Daddy, I finally found you."

Upon hearing the young girl's words, a gentle smile appeared on the faces of the executives.

"Truly worthy of being Mr. Kenny's daugh—"

At this point, Kobayashi Taro realized sothing was amiss. Kenny was twenty-six years old, and the girl in front of them was sixteen.

However capable foreigners might be, it's impossible they could father a child at age ten.

Kenny stood frozen at the doorway, a bead of cold sweat on his face, the sense of foreboding in his heart growing stronger.

The broken nuclear reactors and storage tanks, the underage child's handprint left at the scene, the girl who had appeared before the conference room door, bypassing security.

Linking everything in his mind, a bold and terrifying guess sprang up.

"You, don't co any closer!"

Kenny stumbled backward in panic, losing his composure in a rare display. "Who the hell called for this service?!"

"Daddy, I've finally found you all."

The Tritium girl showed no trace of sadness; instead, she entered the room cheerfully and removed her dress.

The executives present were speechless. In such a formal eting, who on earth would call for 'service'? No wonder Kenny is angry about such impropriety.

They exchanged glances, surprise evident on each other's faces, then their gazes returned to the girl's body.

Her skin, as white and smooth as jade, stirred a flicker of vitality in their aging hearts, as if dead wood were welcoming spring.

"Daddy, do I look pretty?" the Tritium girl giggled. Her fair body suddenly began to swell, her skin splitting apart to reveal the raw flesh underneath.

This horrifying scene left everyone present dumbfounded.

"You!" Kenny shouted, then quickly realized he was overco with an imnse fatigue that surged from his body.

He looked down. Strands of silver-white hair were falling into his palm. His withered hands looked nothing like those of a young man, but rather those of an eighty-year-old.

"AH! AH!"

Kenny noticed his voice becoming hoarse, teeth falling from his mouth to the floor, his back gradually hunching over.

These reactions made him realize this was caused by nuclear radiation!

"No, please," he roared lowly. He was still young, with an unlimited future ahead; he couldn't just fall like this.

Kenny, despite his youth, was already in such a state; the other old n, naturally, were faring even worse. They were collectively losing hair and teeth, their bodies appearing to dry out as if all moisture was being drawn from them.

"I am Tritium. Do you like ?" the girl's voice erged from the massive lump of flesh, murmuring, "I want to be with everyone forever."

"AH."

Kenny exerted all his strength but could not utter a word, nor could he shed a tear. His heart was filled with regret.

Had he known that not dealing with the nuclear power plant issue would give rise to such a monster, he should have taken care of it earlier. With his abilities, it wouldn't have been difficult. He just hadn't wanted to lift a finger for those civilians.

"HA."

A clear laugh sounded as the swelling tumor of flesh burst open. A bright light filled Kenny's eyes, making him acutely feel his body withering and cracking.

Even his soul felt as if it were burning away.

BOOM!

A loud explosion echoed from the top floor.

"What happened?"

Hearing the noise, soone opened a door, and a surge of intense radiation instantly hit them. In that mont, their body aged rapidly, jumping from early thirties to fifty.

"AH?!"

The person beside them saw this and hurriedly backed away.

As they retreated, they found they could no longer move.

Their eyes felt as if they were on fire, and they collapsed weakly to the ground.

Radiation spread across the top floor.

...

BEEP. BEEP.

The phone rang. Emily answered, "Hello, Minister Jack, what's the situation?"

"You don't need to go to Fukushima. Hurry to Chiyoda District. A strange incident has occurred at Tokyo Electric Power Company. Everyone on the company's top floor, including President Kobayashi Taro and Connie Fink of the Beirende Group, has died from nuclear radiation. According to the receptionist, a girl calling herself Tritium asked for the executives' location, then ran towards the fire escape. She apparently sprinted to the top floor, and shortly after, people below heard a loud bang. You head to the scene and check it out. The girl might be the second Superpower User."

Jack, speaking casually, didn't bother with terms from the Different World.

To him, it was just nonclature. Superpower User or Angel Envoy—there was no real difference. He would call them whichever he preferred.

"Okay."

Emily hung up, her brow slightly furrowed. "Okayama, plans have changed. Turn the car around and head to Chiyoda District. There's been an accident at Tokyo Electric."

"Okay."

Okayama Buji made a U-turn at the next intersection and headed towards Chiyoda District in Tokyo.

...

When the special task force arrived at the scene, the entrance to Tokyo Electric Power Company was already cordoned off with police tape.

It wasn't the tropolitan Police Departnt who were there first, but the Public Security Division, as they were closest to the scene.

"We've taken over here. Unauthorized personnel are not allowed entry," the man at the door blocked their path, his attitude more like that of an enemy than a colleague.

Morimoto Chiyoda chuckled lightly. "We're here on behalf of the CIA to assess the situation. Would you dare to stop agents from the CIA?"

The man's expression changed slightly, and he looked as if he wanted to say more.

Katerina was not in the mood for idle talk. She grabbed his shoulder with one hand and set him aside as effortlessly as if lifting a small chick.

Her strength clearly intimidated the other n nearby.

"HMPH."

Emily, flanked by her guardians on either side, strutted arrogantly into the building.
