Aoyama Xiu Xin detailed, "Since Inspector Uehara Yuuhi originally worked in the Criminal Affairs Bureau, let him stay in the Criminal Departnt as Deputy Director of the First Investigation Unit."
The original Director of the First Investigation Unit was Nakamura Shinichi, and now it’s Hattori Danji. Both are trusted lieutenants of Aoyama Xiu Xin, making the First Investigation Unit essentially an inner circle within an inner circle. Although Uehara Yuuhi holds the position of Deputy Director, he won’t be stirring up any trouble.
It was akin to being confined under his watchful eye.
"As for Chief Utsunomiya Yuki and Chief Saito Haiichi, following your wish for them to gain experience at local police stations, let them be assigned to Asahikawa Police Station and Obihiro Police Station, respectively. Is this arrangent satisfactory, Minister?"
Both n were heading to local police stations, but Aoyama Xiu Xin would not relax his surveillance.
He had his people in Asahikawa Police Station and Obihiro Police Station.
"Good, I appreciate your efforts, Yamashita Deputy Minister. Let’s proceed with this plan." Zhongshan Runi readily agreed.
"Alright! Then I’ll convey your intentions to Yamashita Deputy Minister," declared Aoyama Xiu Xin, about to leave.
However, Zhongshan Runi called out to him, "Wait a mont."
"Minister?" Aoyama Xiu Xin looked puzzled.
Why did this woman always like to suddenly hold him up?
He preferred it when won suddenly held him up.
Zhongshan Runi spoke with a pleasant deanor, "The Mitsuo Mutou incident was extrely atrocious. A re chef, wielding a gun, was able to cause such significant destruction. At yesterday’s press conference, I promised a severe crackdown on illegal firearms. I wonder, Mr. Aoyama, as the Director of the Criminal Affairs Departnt, what are your thoughts?"
"I fully support your decision," Aoyama Xiu Xin stated without hesitation, sighing as he added, "To be frank, there has been a significant increase in shooting incidents in Hokkaido recently. It’s high ti we get it under control. Otherwise, if everyone is ard, wouldn’t society be in chaos?"
"Given that, let’s hold a eting later to discuss it," suggested Zhongshan Runi.
The support from Aoyama Xiu Xin was expected.
After all, the incident was too grievous and had too significant an impact. Plus, she believed Aoyama Xiu Xin surely did not want to see firearms proliferating and increasing the cri rate. Moreover, combating gun trafficking would not impact his interests.
As long as the crackdown achieved noticeable results, even if Aoyama Xiu Xin took most of the credit, her role as Minister would undoubtedly be acknowledged.
Of course, she could never dream that the very proliferation of firearms was encouraged by Aoyama Xiu Xin.
So his agreent was rely verbal.
And his obstruction would be in action.
After seeing him out, Zhongshan Runi turned to Habamoto Youko, "Please call Uehara and the others here."
"Yes, ma’am!" responded Habamoto Youko.
A few minutes later, Uehara Yuuhi, Utsunomiya Yuki, and Saito Haiichi walked into the office together.
"Minister!" The three bowed in unison.
"Mm," Zhongshan Runi nodded, her expression serious as she spoke slowly, "Concerning the assignnts for the three of you, they have been decided. Uehara, you will take the role of Deputy Director for our departnt’s First Investigation Unit. Upon joining, work diligently and let Aoyama Xiu Xin see your capabilities. Respect him as you respect , at least outwardly."
"Utsunomiya Yuki and Saito, I have chosen for you to serve at local police stations, away from Aoyama Xiu Xin’s watchful eye. You must build good relations with your colleagues, identify, and win over so useful people. Understand?"
"Yes!" the three responded seriously.
Zhongshan Runi took a deep breath as she stood up, ca around from behind her desk, and adjusted the collars of each one, saying solemnly, "Gentlen, the current situation is full of challenges. Don’t let down."
"Yes!" ×3
...
Sapporo City, South District.
Makunai Takino Spirit Garden.
This is one of the more renowned graveyards in Japan.
Due to it being a park-style cetery, it boasted a well-maintained green environnt and carefully designed landscape, providing a resting place for souls departed and a spot for visitors to co and admire.
Inside a black Honda sedan outside the spirit garden,
A young man around thirty years old, with a mole above his left eyebrow, sat behind the wheel looking in the direction of the cetery. His grip on the steering wheel steadily tightened as he murmured in a low voice, "Mom, I will avenge you."
This man was Miyazaki Ting, afraid that soone was surveilling near his mother’s grave, he dared not enter the cetery to pay respects, only gazing from a distance.
At only 29 years old, due to a series of unfortunate occurrences, he looked excessively worn and mature for his age.
Miyazaki Ting had thought that returning after so many years, he could catch Miyashita Hidekatsu—the vile betrayer—off guard. However, to his dismay, the bastard’s luck was so great that even a shot to the chest didn’t kill him, especially since another gunman had opened fire as well.
It was as if heaven was blind!
Good people die young, while scourges last a thousand years!
He knew the opportunity he had waited so many years for was lost, and that killing Miyashita Hidekatsu now, with the man on guard, would be difficult.
Moreover, he had to be wary of Miyashita Hidekatsu’s henchn seeking him out, so his revenge plan needed to change. He couldn’t continue to go at it alone. Being caught wasn’t the fear, but being caught before avenging his mother was the real terror.
He would be too ashad to face his mother even in death.
Fortunately, over the years, he had made a few reliable friends who were willing to risk life and death with him.
"Miyashita Hidekatsu, not dying in front of the hospital yesterday may not have been your luck, but your doom! Because you will pay a price far more terrible than death."
Miyazaki Ting said darkly. Then, he shifted his gaze from the distance, hit the gas pedal, and drove off.
The car wheels kicked up a few yellow leaves from the ground.
Twenty minutes later, the car stopped in front of a detached house in East District Qiu Zhuting. He put on a hat to cover his face before getting out of the car and ringing the doorbell.
"Ding-dong! Ding-dong!"
"Who is it?" A cautious voice ca from inside.
"I can keep my cool," replied Miyazaki Ting, "It’s ."
The door opened, and a young man with a big back hairdo looked out at Miyazaki Ting joyously, "Brother Miyazaki!"
Miyazaki Ting patted his shoulder and strode inside.
Big Back Head glanced left and right outside to make sure no one suspicious was around before closing the door and following him in.
"Mr. Aoyama." The two youths playing gas in the living room laid down their controllers and stood up to greet him.
Both appeared to be under thirty, one with buck teeth and the other with a bit of a goatee on his chin.
Miyazaki Ting nodded solemnly to the three n, "I need your help with the revenge."
Originally, he didn’t want to drag his friends into his personal vendetta, but now it was unavoidable.
They were brothers who had been through life and death together, and once he had made his decision, he was straightforward, getting right to the point.
"Brother Miyazaki, you finally agreed! I always said your business is my business, and naturally, your enemies are my enemies!" Big Back Head eagerly stated his stance.
The two gars also echoed in agreent.
"Miyashita Hidekatsu is healing up in the hospital, I say we pose as dical staff and take him out."
Miyazaki Ting shook his head, "Killing Miyashita Hidekatsu ans we certainly can’t stay in Japan anymore. If it were just , fine, but now with the three of you as well, we can’t just aim to kill him. We’ve got to take a large sum of money so we can flee far away after killing him."
"Mr. Aoyama, since you say so, you must have a plan in mind. Just tell us what to do, and we’ll follow your lead," the buck-toothed man asserted forcefully.
Big Back Head and the goateed man nodded too.
Miyazaki Ting’s eyes slowly swept over the faces of the three n, moved by his heart, but he didn’t utter any words of thanks, "Here’s what we’ll do... we’ll do like this..."
