The sun had climbed high in the sky when Aoyama Xiu Xin got out of bed.

With her hair in disarray, her complexion flushed, and with not a stitch on her body, Qingshui Yasuko dragged her exhausted fra up to tend to his dressing and washing, even helping him shave.

Married won really know how to take care of others.

Whether in bed or out of it.

No wonder they say the fragrance of a young wife is indeed intoxicating.

Her figure was excellent; owing to her tall stature, she maintained a voluptuousness that didn’t seem bloated, with curves that were extrely pronounced, her disheveled black hair forming a stark contrast with her pale, smooth back.

"Thump, thump, thump!" ca a knock at the door, followed by Qingshui Yi’s voice, "Mom, Senior Police Director, are you up yet? I’ve had breakfast prepared."

"Right away," Qingshui Yasuko replied, then turned to Aoyama Xiu Xin and asked, "Shall we leave after breakfast?"

"Of course, we can’t disappoint our son’s filial piety," Aoyama Xiu Xin teased with a smile.

Though he remained unmarried to this day, he was already surrounded by a full house of children, and comparatively, he had more daughters.

Qingshui Yasuko, ashad and annoyed, bit her lip, lowered her head, and didn’t respond. This, however, displeased Aoyama Xiu Xin, "If you can’t bear to have him call ’Dad,’ then you call that; satisfy this poor single man’s desire to be a father."

"You..." Qingshui Yasuko, overwheld by sha and anger, looked up and glared at him. She was over thirty and had to call a man in his twenties ’Dad.’ Overco by anger, she barely managed to whisper in a voice as thin as a mosquito’s, "Dad."

See, he had another daughter at his knees.

"Good girl," Aoyama Xiu Xin chuckled, pinching her fair cheek before turning and walking away.

Qingshui Yasuko, humiliated, let tears fall and turned to throw herself onto the bed, crying softly, too choked up to speak.

Outside, Qingshui Yi heard Aoyama Xiu Xin’s laughter and the faint sound of his mother’s weeping. Clueless about what had occurred, he felt a rush of panic but didn’t dare burst in.

Only when the door opened and Aoyama Xiu Xin appeared did he hasten to bow respectfully, "Senior Police Director."

"Let’s eat," Aoyama Xiu Xin dropped tersely, striding past him with a swagger.

Qingshui Yi glanced toward the room, unable to see his mother but restrained his worry, closed the door, and quickly led the way for Aoyama Xiu Xin.

In the dining room, Aoyama Xiu Xin saw the table laden with various breakfast dishes and beverages.

"Eating better than at my own ho, it seems we enforcers still don’t live as well as you lawbreakers," Aoyama Xiu Xin said, half-joking, as he sat down.

Sweat beaded on Qingshui Yi; he hurriedly tried to explain, "This was prepared specially for you, Senior Police Director, knowing you worked hard for the country last night and were tired in body and mind. Normally, I only grab a quick bite."

The morning news had already covered the Hokkaido Police’s actions from the previous evening, so it wasn’t an exaggeration for Qingshui Yi to say that Aoyama Xiu Xin had worked hard for the country.

"Indeed quite tiring, your mother is over thirty after all, at the age where she’s like a tigerish wolf, not easy to subdue," Aoyama Xiu Xin nodded.

Qingshui Yi’s mouth twitched. He couldn’t follow up on that remark and quickly shifted the topic, "Let introduce you to so of our local specialties..."

At that mont, a faint sound of footsteps arose.

It was Qingshui Yasuko, dressed neatly, in a light blue kimono that was rather elegant. Her hair was well-done, and she hadn’t applied makeup, but she was naturally beautiful and even without costics, her charm was undeniable.

"Mom," Qingshui Yi sighed softly in relief upon seeing that his mother was all right.

Qingshui Yasuko nodded slightly in response and then sat next to Aoyama Xiu Xin, serving him tea and attending to him as he ate.

Aoyama Xiu Xin didn’t need to lift a finger to eat, holding Qingshui Yasuko as he touched her here and there, occasionally teasing her into blushing and becoming flustered – won like n who can make them laugh.

Qingshui Yi didn’t dare take a seat, stood the whole ti with his head bowed, waiting for Aoyama Xiu Xin’s instructions at any mont.

"Burp~" Finally, having had his fill, Aoyama Xiu Xin belched, took a napkin from Qingshui Yasuko to wipe his mouth, and said, "Thanks for the hospitality, it was a hearty al indeed. I will take my leave now."

Qingshui Yasuko quickly helped him to his feet.

"No need to see out," Aoyama Xiu Xin waved his hand, indicating for them to stay put, and with his head held high, he strode off with confidence.

After Aoyama Xiu Xin disappeared from view, Qingshui Yi turned back to look at Qingshui Yasuko, "You’ve had a tough ti, Mother."

Qingshui Yasuko shook her head slightly, not wishing to delve further into the matter but instead bringing up urgent business, "About the thing we discussed earlier, have you made any progress?"

"I was just about to report to you," Qingshui Yi bowed slightly, then spoke, "We got word from the Tangben Group that a city hall official and two city council mbers have asked them to arrange for goods and won tonight, to be delivered to a villa in the west district."

Each of the four Violent Gangs has a seemingly legitimate entertainnt company underneath them. They have people go out onto the streets to scout for beautiful won, enticing them to take photos by promising a future in show business and leaving their ho addresses and contact details to wait for a notification.

And whenever the bigwigs want to play, they send these selected won’s photos as albums for their perusal. No matter who is chosen, they’ll resort to a variety of ans, both soft and hard, to deliver her to the specified location of the bigwig. After he is done playing, they either retrieve the woman or, in so cases, dispose of the body.

After all, many of these well-dressed fellows are perverts behind closed doors. Politicians always appear so righteous and sunny before caras and the public because they have already vented their dark sides in secret.

They also offer bespoke services, where the bigwigs can demand certain won per their preferences; that unfortunate woman might be an audience mber at one of their events or even one of their children’s classmates...

Take for example a case from Thailand: a mayor fancied a female university student and directly ordered several policen to abduct her to his villa.

Every day around the world so many people disappear, their whereabouts always difficult to ascertain.

"Let’s use them as a welco gift for the investigative team’s arrival in Sapporo, and rember not to leave any traces or evidence." Qingshui Yasuko said icily.

This would bring significant trouble to the bureaucrats of Hokkaido, but she was already in a precarious situation herself; where would she find the heart to care about that?

If they didn’t do this, one day the entire Beihai Family might vanish. Could the outco be any worse?

Qingshui Yi responded, "Hey, Mother, rest assured, the guy who told this has been dealt with by . There will be no link to us."

.................

Inside the Hokkaido Police Headquarters eting room, a gathering of high-level officials sat together, the atmosphere slightly tense.

"The investigative team has already boarded the plane and will arrive at the airport in two hours. We’ve received orders from above to fully cooperate with them. The official reason they are coming is to investigate matters related to the new type of thamphetamine."

Fujimoto Takayoshi swept his gaze over everyone and said solemnly.

"Everyone here is aware that investigating the new type of thamphetamine is just a pretext. Their real purpose is to dig into the corruption within the Hokkaido Police system. In this critical mont of survival, let’s unite and act according to the plan. Let them return ho happily and with a full haul!"

"Hi!" everyone responded in unison.

Fujimoto Takayoshi singled out a few nas, including Aoyama Xiu Xin, to go to the airport for the reception. This high level of hospitality was indeed giving them full face.

On the way to the airport, four police motorcycles with sirens blared the way forward, followed by two high-end sedans and then two minibusses. Finally, two police motorcycles brought up the rear, all speeding along.

All civilian vehicles gave way to the special procession.

Fujimoto Takayoshi and Aoyama Xiu Xin were in the sa car.

Both sat in the back, puffing away. Fujimoto Takayoshi’s hefty body nearly occupied two seats, looking like a slab of pork belly placed atop a chair.

And it was the kind with seventy percent fat.

He flicked ash from his cigarette and said, "The shooting case was solved by you. After the investigatory team arrives, they will surely look for you to understand why those gunn all died at the sa ti."

"Isn’t that perfect?" Aoyama Xiu Xin exhaled a puff of smoke with a smile and said lightly, "I can just take this opportunity to inform them about the bad people hiding in the police headquarters! They wanted to stop from uncovering the truth, so they silenced those gunn. Jing Shang might have been frad, but does he have any backers still? It’s just perfect for the investigatory team to check, and return a clear sky to the people of Hokkaido."

Since the investigative team was using the investigation of new thamphetamine as a cover, why not throw them another bone? In the end, it would co down to those few scapegoats anyway.

"Mr. Aoyama, you’re thinking just like . You’ve only just arrived, and they’ll definitely see you as a useful ally. You can infiltrate their ranks to monitor their movent, and also help them to catch the big corrupt officials in our police system soon!"

Fujimoto Takayoshi laughed heartily, but due to his obesity, his trachea sounded compressed while he spoke and laughed, making him sound like nothing good.

The two chatted leisurely until they arrived at the airport. The leaders, of course, waited in the car while sending two officers with welco signs to wait at the airport exit for the investigative team.

After receiving the team, they would be notified, then they would get out of the car early and put on friendly smiles to welco them.

Standing among the welco party, Aoyama Xiu Xin saw from a distance a group of about twenty people, n and won, all dressed in suits, dragging suitcases and walking over.

Leading them was a man in his forties with a Big Back Head haircut, white-faced without a beard, and at 1.7 ters tall he was considered fairly tall in Japan, followed by a dark-skinned, short and chubby middle-aged man.

Fujimoto Takayoshi led everyone to greet them proactively.

From a distance, he smiled and stretched out his hand, "Minister Hino, welco, welco to Sapporo! I am Fujimoto Takayoshi, the Director of Hokkaido Police Headquarters."

"Director Fujimoto, there’s no need for such a fuss. We haven’t accomplished anything yet, and we are truly unworthy," Hirano Hidekazu shook Director Fujimoto’s hand and shook his head.

Director Fujimoto laughed heartily and pointed back at his team, "They heard that Minister Hino was coming to help us with the new thamphetamine issue, so they are all very grateful and volunteered to co welco you. I couldn’t stop them."

"I can attest to that," Aoyama Xiu Xin added with a smile, then expressed his sentint, "After all, even though the creator has been caught, there’s still new thamphetamine circulating on the market, which has caused us quite a headache."

"I should congratulate Police Chief Aoyama for the new achievents since arriving in Hokkaido, truly worthy of being Heisei’s No.1 Detective, in na and reality, and giving our police force a good reputation," Gu Tian Chong said with a smile, extending his hand.

Aoyama Xiu Xin shook it quickly, "Minister Gu Tian, you flatter . This is not my sole accomplishnt, it’s the result of the collective efforts of all my colleagues. I am simply representing them to speak and accept interviews."

"Mr. Aoyama was modest when he first ca to Hokkaido, I said his biggest fault is being too humble. Look, indeed, without Mr. Aoyama, we definitely wouldn’t have solved the case so quickly," said Director Fujimoto.

With great interest, Gu Tian Chong said, "Then you must tell the details of how the case was solved when you have ti."

"Certainly, certainly," Aoyama Xiu Xin replied.

Director Fujimoto looked at his watch pretentiously and said, "It’s almost alti. We’ve already arranged the reception location. We’ve been through a journey, so let’s have so food to fill our stomachs."

"Getting to eat before we’ve accomplished anything puts a lot of pressure on us! Without finding sothing, it’ll be tough to leave," Hirano Hidekazu said with a sigh.

The group laughed kindly in response and then boarded the cars, with four police motorcycles leading the way with sirens to the prearranged restaurant.

"Mr. Hino, I think..." Gu Tian Chong began to say sothing as soon as they got in the car, but was stopped by Hirano Hidekazu shaking his head and indicating his ear, signaling to be careful of possible eavesdropping.

Gu Tian Chong imdiately felt embarrassed. It truly was the professionalism of the procuratorate’s office. Right away, he stopped talking about important matters and instead switched to chatting about the local culture and scenery they saw along the way.

"Hmph!"

In the leading high-end sedan, Director Fujimoto put down the listening device and let out a soft snort.
