The icy wind howled, and the heavy snow fluttered down.

On the rooftop of a comrcial building in Sapporo Central District, Nozaki Cangjian, who had rushed over during the night, even in his down jacket, was still so cold his cheeks and ears turned red, pacing back and forth while constantly blowing on his hands for warmth.

Every ti he t with Aoyama Xiu Xin, he felt it was a form of torture—basking in the scorching sun on the rooftop in the sumr, enduring the biting cold winds in the winter.

Finally, a series of footsteps were heard from behind.

Nozaki Cangjian turned around, and as expected, it was the long-awaited Aoyama Xiu Xin. He imdiately lowered his hands and respectfully bowed, "Senior Police Director."

"Mr. Nobita, long ti no see." Aoyama Xiu Xin smiled as he ca forward, patting his shoulder and pointing towards the distant snowy scene, "You can’t see that in Tokyo."

Nozaki Cangjian sniffled and managed a weak smile.

He just felt so cold that even his crooked eight seed to have shrunk a size.

And he was in no mood to admire any snowy scenery!

"Mr. Nobita, you don’t seem to be in good shape," Aoyama Xiu Xin remarked, looking at his condition and shaking his head.

Facing Aoyama Xiu Xin, who stood proudly in the snow in only a suit, yet with a calm deanor, Nozaki Cangjian could only concede, "Indeed, I am far from the Senior Police Director."

Thick-skinned and unaffected by the cold winter.

"You need to exercise more," Aoyama Xiu Xin advised, before getting down to business, "Your next task is to stir up trouble and create chaos in Sapporo, and even across all of Hokkaido. You can do whatever you want, just notify in advance."

As for how much property damage and how many casualties this process might cause—Aoyama Xiu Xin didn’t care.

In any case, Hokkaido must be thrown into chaos!

"Yes, Sir!" Nozaki Cangjian bowed in response.

Who could have imagined that he, a fine policeman, would now be creating cris on the orders of his superior.

"Take care of yourself," Aoyama Xiu Xin added.

Once again, Nozaki Cangjian bowed, "Yes, Sir!"

"This is your undercover funding." Aoyama Xiu Xin took out a thick envelope from his chest pocket and handed it over.

Bowing, Nozaki Cangjian received it with both hands.

"Do a good job, I am counting on you," Aoyama Xiu Xin patted his shoulder before turning and leaving.

Nozaki Cangjian bowed in send-off until the footsteps faded away, then slowly straightened up and opened the envelope.

He had expected it to be yen; to his surprise, it was US Dollars—and quite a lot of them, tens of thousands.

They had previously intended to carry out a kidnapping in Tokyo; guns and vehicles were already available, so there was no need to repurchase equipnt, and this money was enough to cover daily expenses.

After eting with Nozaki Cangjian, Aoyama Xiu Xin headed to the headquarters for work. He had just stepped out of the office building’s elevator when he saw Nakamura Shinichi lingering outside his office with a docunt bag.

"Senior Police Director, you’ve arrived," Nakamura Shinichi turned at the sound of footsteps and quickly approached.

Aoyama Xiu Xin glanced at the docunt bag in his hand and nodded, "Any new developnts in the case?"

"Yes, Sir!" Nakamura Shinichi responded, passing over the docunt bag and saying, "In the surveillance footage near the hos of the seven victims, we spotted that suicidal worker. We also have footage of him entering and leaving the hos of several victims with a large suitcase, and we suspect the victims were inside it. Additionally, we found his image in the surveillance caras on the roads leading to the dumping sites—firm evidence that he’s almost certainly the killer."

As he briefed him, Aoyama Xiu Xin had already opened the docunt bag and began examining the photographs inside.

Although the images were a bit fuzzy, he could confirm they were all of the sa person—the worker who had hidden the severed head at the opening ceremony of the Ice and Snow Festival and then committed suicide.

"If that’s the case, then he’s far too careless. As a worker on the stage, didn’t he know where the caras were? Didn’t he realize the police would definitely review the stage’s surveillance afterward?" Aoyama Xiu Xin shook his head skeptically, then, without waiting for Nakamura Shinichi’s answer, walked to his office, "Let’s talk inside."

Nakamura Shinichi opened the door for him and after closing it said, "He was caught on surveillance while stalking the victims, entering and leaving their hos, and he didn’t even cover his face. Doesn’t this indicate he had no concerns about surveillance?"

"If he had no awareness of the caras, he wouldn’t have committed suicide, nor would he have chosen locations without surveillance to dump the bodies," Aoyama Xiu Xin sat down in his office chair and tapped the desk, "He committed suicide the day after he hid the head, so why commit suicide? Obviously, because he knew the police were closing in on him. And what could have led him to that conclusion? It can only be the surveillance! It seems he deliberately ignored the caras at all tis except when dumping the bodies."

"But why would he do that? Why expose himself deliberately and then commit suicide?" Nakamura Shinichi frowned in confusion, "According to your previous analysis, the killer is heartless and careful, a psychopath with antisocial tendencies. How could such a person leave so many flaws and then commit suicide? He didn’t even stick around to admire his work."

Ke Qingshan Xiu Xin Nan’s eyes narrowed as he spoke gravely, "That’s why the scheming frog has been feeling up your belly!"

Nakamura Shinichi hastened to take in every word.

"The real killer is soone else! The worker was rely a tool, a scapegoat," Aoyama Xiu Xin asserted with a staunch look and a definitive tone.

Nakamura Shinichi’s eyes widened, "What?"

"The real criminal is a bona fide pervert," Aoyama Xiu Xin picked up two surveillance photos, pointing at the tistamped images, "From the mont the worker entered the victim’s ho to the mont he left with the suitcase, it wasn’t more than ten minutes. The victims were taken away before being dismbered, maybe not even killed yet. He was transporting the victims to the real killer, who would then kill and dismber them; the worker was left to dispose of the bodies while the true culprit hid behind him, savoring the pleasure that was exclusively his."
