Aoyama Xiu Xin was boating on the sea when Panasonic Jiezi stopped Panasonic Qingyun, who had just left the laboratory.
"What are you doing here again?"
Looking at his cousin who had been blocking his way for several days in a row, Panasonic Qingyun felt touched yet helpless.
"Qingyun, no matter what, we are cousins. The grudges of the older generation should not continue with us, should they? Grandfather’s days are numbered, and his last wish is to see family harmony before he dies. I have to help him fulfill it."
Panasonic Jiezi was smoking, his tone sincere.
Ever since agreeing to work with Aoyama Xiu Xin, he had been seeking Panasonic Qingyun out these past three or four days. They had managed to speak a few peaceful words, which was progress.
His younger cousin had been raised too kindly and humbly by his second uncle, breeding a temperant of courtesy and modesty. Even though he knew the households were at odds, he couldn’t bring himself to show cold indifference to his cousin brother.
Panasonic Qingyun was that exemplary positive image propagated in textbooks, making him, filled with thoughts of fa, fortune, and ulterior motives, feel utterly ashad.
"You... *cough cough cough*..." just as Panasonic Qingyun was about to speak, he inhaled so secondhand smoke and started coughing.
Seeing this, Panasonic Jiezi quickly extinguished his cigarette and tossed it on the ground, "Sorry, I forgot you don’t smoke."
"It’s okay." Panasonic Qingyun shook his head, then bent down to pick up the cigarette butt that the other had just thrown away and tossed it into the trash can, saying, "I don’t know what my father went through when he was young, and I’m not in a position to forgive on his behalf. Please, really stop looking for ."
With these words, he bowed deeply.
Then, he walked past Panasonic Jiezi.
"Don’t you want to know what your father experienced when he was young?" Panasonic Jiezi turned around and called out.
Hearing this, Panasonic Qingyun suddenly stopped.
Seizing the mont, Panasonic Jiezi continued, "I’m not asking you to forgive Second Uncle on his behalf, because I understand his experiences and why he holds animosity against the family and Grandfather. But you don’t hold any grudge against the family. Neither do I hold any grudge against Second Uncle. The disputes of the older generation should be left to them to resolve; it shouldn’t affect our interactions as the younger ones. Brother, you’re well-read; you don’t need to teach you such principles, do you?"
"Didn’t Second Uncle never tell you about his childhood just to avoid letting the previous generation’s issues affect you? Brother, we should talk."
He may not be very capable, but having grown up in a world of eating, drinking, prostitution, gambling, and being a street-smart scoundrel, he definitely had a better grasp of human nature than Panasonic Qingyun, the bookworm.
"I have half an hour; I want to hear about my father’s childhood," Panasonic Qingyun turned around.
Panasonic Jiezi smiled faintly and stepped forward to loop his arm around his neck, "Co on, let’s find a place to have a good chat."
"Let go," Panasonic Qingyun tried to struggle.
But to no avail, he let it be.
Ten minutes later, dressed in a suit and tie, wearing glasses, and appearing educated and refined, Panasonic Qingyun followed Panasonic Jiezi through the bustling crowd of a bar, feeling a mix of curiosity, unease, and panic.
Looking at the scantily clad, attractive young won with plenty of skin on display, he found his mouth dry and his instincts pushing him to look, but his upbringing forbade him from doing so.
How conflicted he was.
"Brother Jie Zhi, we could just find a quiet park to talk, why did you bring here?"
Panasonic Qingyun grabbed Panasonic Jiezi’s arm.
"You’ve never been to a place like this?" Panasonic Jiezi asked in surprise.
Panasonic Qingyun nodded embarrassingly, "My father doesn’t want to go to such seedy places."
He had always kept his distance from such places,
while maintaining a sense of curiosity.
"What seedy places? This is just where young people co to relax and have a few drinks," Panasonic Jiezi patted his back, then jestingly wiggled his eyebrows and asked, "You surely can’t still be a virgin, can you?"
Panasonic Qingyun’s face turned red and he lowered his head.
Unbelievable!
"No way! You’re the son of a Supre Court Chief Justice! A PhD holder, tall and handso to boot, surely won must be throwing themselves at you?"
Panasonic Jiezi asked with exaggerated expressions.
"My father doesn’t allow to do things using his na outside," Panasonic Qingyun explained, then quickly added, "And I mostly stay in the laboratory doing research, not coming into contact with won."
"25, and haven’t even touched a woman’s hand, how can there be n who haven’t slept with a woman by 25?" Panasonic Jiezi shook his head repeatedly.
Panasonic Qingyun felt a bit ashad and more irritated, "Why do you ntion this?"
The next second, Panasonic Jiezi casually pulled a woman over and slid his hand inside her neckline.
"Idiot, you..." the woman flared up in anger.
Suddenly, a wad of cash was stuffed into her neckline.
The woman’s expression imdiately turned to smiles; she fumbled to take out the money, letting Panasonic Jiezi play with her as he wished.
Panasonic Qingyun watched, dumbstruck.
The shock to him was too great.
"Qingyun, co on, feel it."
"No, no, no I can’t," Panasonic Qingyun turned his head away, adamantly refusing to look as he waved his hands.
"What are you afraid of! Are you not a man!" Panasonic Jiezi seized his hand and forced it onto the woman’s body.
Experiencing that peculiar sensation, Panasonic Qingyun was stunned, feeling an indescribable excitent.
That’s when Panasonic Jiezi gave the woman a shove.
She obediently clung to Panasonic Qingyun.
And pushed him toward the direction of the restroom.
Panasonic Qingyun’s mind was in a whirl, and while he was adept at unraveling various chemical formulas, he couldn’t figure out what to do with the woman in front of him, wanting to push her away yet reluctant to do so.
This was an entirely new experience for him.
A few minutes later, Panasonic Qingyun, with a flushed face and bowed head, walked out of the restroom.
"How was it?" Panasonic Jiezi asked with a wicked grin.
Panasonic Qingyun humd a response, his face red and his ears burning.
So joyful!
He was in a state of extre excitent.
"You’re still unsatisfied, I see. I’ve got a private room arranged, let’s go there and have so slow fun."
Panasonic Jiezi looped his arm around him and they headed toward the private room.
"You’re too honest, you know. With your status, any woman in here will willingly bend to your will if you take a liking to them."
Panasonic Qingyun felt bewildered and instinctively turned his head to scrutizine the dazzling array of beauties around him, their allure nearly overwhelming.
Is that really the case?
Is a father’s status truly that influential?
He had agreed to only half an hour, but he ended up playing until midnight before stumbling ho drunk.
"Dad."
Upon entering and seeing his father, he regained his senses and bowed sowhat fearfully.
"Why are you so late tonight?"
Slling the faint scent of alcohol on his son’s breath, Panasonic Jun frowned after putting down his book.
"I was at a birthday party for a senior from the lab and had a few too many," Panasonic Qingyun said nervously, lying through his teeth.
It was the first ti he had ever lied to his father.
That’s probably why Panasonic Jun so readily believed his son’s words; his son never used to lie.
"Dad, I’m going to take a shower before coming back down."
Panasonic Qingyun felt incredibly grateful his cousin had wiped off the lipstick marks and doused him with liquor to mask the perfu, otherwise his father would’ve definitely found out that he had been frolicking with won.
But, oh, what a delightful sensation it was!
It was his first experience with four fiery, beautiful won all at once; what man could resist that?
He was already looking forward to tomorrow.
His cousin had said they would visit a high-end club.
The won there were supposed to be even more beautiful than those in the nightclub from last night, with nurous female celebrities. He wondered if any of his favorites would be there; just the thought excited him.
He believed his cousin was right; the conflicts between elders shouldn’t carry over to their younger generations.
A great philosopher, the Jing Sha Wang, once said, "Human desires are like rolling stones down a mountain, once they start falling, they can’t be stopped."
Once the fall begins, it is impossible to stop; without effective control, it will only escalate.
After all, the threshold keeps rising.
............
On September 20th, a Sunday, there was a breeze.
As Aoyama Xiu Xin reached the rooftop, he found Nozaki Cangjian, clad in black leather, already waiting for him.
"Mr. Nobita, didn’t expect you to be the early bird today."
"It’s not right to constantly keep the boss waiting." Nozaki Cangjian turned around and bowed respectfully.
Aoyama Xiu Xin casually tossed a cigarette to him from a distance.
"No need to be so formal. Is there any progress?"
Nozaki Cangjian caught the cigarette, lit Aoyama Xiu Xin’s first and then his own, took a puff, and pulled out a docunt bag from his chest pocket, handing it over.
"They trust . These are so things I snapped shots of, along with recordings of them admitting to killing Tsumada and Noda. Is it enough to convict them?"
Aoyama Xiu Xin opened the docunt bag and looked through its contents.
After a mont, he shook his head, "Not enough, the recordings are intermittent and incomplete, and it sounds like you were leading them on. As for these photos, they’re hardly powerful evidence, even less significant than the recordings."
Nozaki Cangjian’s expression imdiately fell.
He had hoped that with this evidence, he could persuade the trio, including Fujimoto Takuya, to turn themselves in, especially since they were planning to make a move on San Dao Yifu the mont he returned to the country the next day.
"Here’s what we’ll do. When they move against San Dao Yifu, notify in advance, and I’ll arrange to catch them in the act," Aoyama Xiu Xin suggested, looking at Nozaki Cangjian.
"But doing it this way, they won’t be able to turn themselves in and won’t have the rit of self-disclosure," Nozaki Cangjian blurted out.
"I won’t bring these pieces of evidence out. I’ll give them a chance to voluntarily admit and explain the killings of Tsumada and Noda. That can be considered as rit," Aoyama Xiu Xin said calmly, shaking the docunt bag in his hand.
Nozaki Cangjian hesitated.
After all, turning themselves in would be deed a lighter rit.
Aoyama Xiu Xin’s expression turned stern, "Don’t forget you’re a police officer. Spending a few days with them, do you really consider yourself a criminal, one of them?"
"Yes, sir!" Nozaki Cangjian bowed deeply.
Aoyama Xiu Xin patted his shoulder, softening his tone, "Do not betray the justice in your heart."
Soft and hard tactics are the correct ways to manage a CPU.
"Yes, sir!" Nozaki Cangjian’s gaze fird, and after taking a deep breath he said, "They are planning to act as soon as San Dao Yifu returns tomorrow, but the specific plan isn’t set yet. I’ll figure out a way to get the ssage to you."
"Yo-shi! I’ll be waiting for your good news."
