After work, Aoyama Xiu Xin headed straight to the Takizawa household.

He always needed to report progress to his superiors to let them know how hard he was working on their behalf.

There’s a saying in the workplace.

Those who can work are no match for those who can report their work.

"Brother Xiu Xin, co on in."

The door was opened by Takizawa Chiyu, who had just finished work and hadn’t changed yet, just taken off her coat. Only a white shirt remained, with one extra button undone, a hint of green lace subtly visible, and black pantyhose enhancing her beautiful legs below a black bodycon skirt.

"Chiyu, you look prettier."

Aoyama Xiu Xin touched her face and then walked into the living room. Not seeing anyone, he turned his head and noticed Takizawa Shikou and Hashimoto Miho dining in the restaurant.

Hashimoto Miho was also wearing a white shirt on her upper body but wore trousers below. Sitting on a chair, her pants stretched tight, the voluptuous side curves and thigh lines captivatingly enticing, her small feet wrapped in flesh-colored stockings resting on the chair’s leg.

"Xiu Xin is here, haven’t you eaten yet?" Takizawa Shikou smiled and greeted him, then said, "Chiyu, hurry and get an extra set of chopsticks, I’ll have a few drinks with Xiu Xin."

Aoyama Xiu Xin was excited to see Hashimoto Miho.

He was equally excited to see Aoyama Xiu Xin.

"Hi!" Takizawa Chiyu headed to the kitchen.

Aoyama Xiu Xin bowed slightly, "Indeed, I ca before having dinner, so I won’t be shy."

"Don’t be shy, sit down quickly." Takizawa Shikou’s laughter was hearty, his attitude warm and sincere.

Aoyama Xiu Xin sat down opposite Hashimoto Miho.

Soon, Takizawa Chiyu ca out with a set of chopsticks and sat down next to him.

Aoyama Xiu Xin suddenly felt an itch on his shin.

Looking up, he saw Hashimoto Miho across from him biting her red lip, giving him a sultry look.

This woman surely holds grudges.

Aoyama Xiu Xin scoffed quietly, but because of the dining table’s cover, he didn’t stop her this ti.

"President, I wanted to let you know that I’ve found a way to deal with Panasonic Jun, please await my good news," Aoyama Xiu Xin said, letting Hashimoto Miho toy with him with her feet, keeping his composure.

Takizawa Shikou’s eyes lit up, and he burst into laughter, "I knew you wouldn’t disappoint , Xiu Xin, I trust you with this matter and will await the good news."

"Of course, I can’t let down the President’s trust," Aoyama Xiu Xin raised his glass.

"Here, Xiu Xin, a toast to you."

Aoyama Xiu Xin’s hand dropped, resting on Takizawa Chiyu’s leg, feeling the delicate, smooth touch of the black stockings.

Takizawa Chiyu’s cheeks flushed quickly.

Her hands trembled slightly as she picked up food.

"Chiyu, why are your cheeks red, is it too hot?" Takizawa Shikou curiously asked, yet he guessed Aoyama Xiu Xin’s actions and was thrilled.

Takizawa Chiyu, heart pounding, stuttered in response, "Yes, it is a bit hot tonight."

Everyone knows Tokyo’s heat.

"Young people can’t stand the heat," Takizawa Shikou laughed, shaking his head, glancing sideways, noticing Hashimoto Miho lifting her legs, a slight smile on her lips, and continued toasting Aoyama Xiu Xin, "Tonight we do not return until we’re drunk!"

"Hi! I toast to the President in advance, congratulations on your promotion."

"Hahaha, good, keep drinking."

As Hashimoto Miho poured her husband a drink, she playfully persuaded, "Husband, drink a little less."

"Shut up! I’m so happy today, I need to drink my fill!" Takizawa Shikou sternly said.

Today isn’t over until I’m passed out drunk!

Hashimoto Miho humd twice and ignored him.

She focused without moving forward.

After several rounds of drinks, Takizawa Shikou seed deliriously drunk and soon passed out on the table.

"Chiyu, help the President back to his room to rest."

Aoyama Xiu Xin instructed Takizawa Chiyu.

"Hi!" Takizawa Chiyu obediently replied.

And the feigning drunk Takizawa Shikou was furious, what an idiot! Aoyama Xiu Xin, daring enough to cuckold yet not daring enough to do it in front of ?

Although he was reluctant, he dared not speak out, lest he be found out feigning drunkenness, and could only be helplessly assisted to his room by Takizawa Chiyu.

In the living room, with Takizawa Shikou being helped away, Hashimoto Miho slid out from under the table into Aoyama Xiu Xin’s arms, coquettishly calling, "Master~"

"Slap!"

Aoyama Xiu Xin raised his hand and slapped her.

Damn, I had already warned her last ti.

"This woman is trying to deceive for a reward, right?"

...

At the sa ti, Nozaki Cangjian carried several bottles of alcohol and so snacks as he knocked on Fujimoto Takuya’s door.

"Knock, knock, knock!"

A mont later, Fujimoto Takuya opened the door.

"It’s Cang Jian, co in."

Nozaki Cangjian entered, and when he saw Koizumi Hisahide and Saiji Taisen in the living room, he was imdiately taken aback.

"Koizumi-san! Saiji-san!"

He truly hadn’t expected these two to be present.

"Hahaha! Nozaki Cangjian, I heard from Gui He that you’ve been doing quite poorly lately."

Koizumi Hisahide and Saiji Taisen laughed loudly as they stepped forward and tightly hugged Nozaki Cangjian.

Suddenly, Nozaki Cangjian pushed them away.

"What’s wrong?" Koizumi Hisahide asked, puzzled.

Saiji Taisen chuckled and said, "You’re not upset that we didn’t contact you first after getting out, are you?"

"This, is it you guys who did it?"

Nozaki Cangjian set down the alcohol and snacks, took out a newspaper from his bosom, and waved it in his hand.

It was the newspaper from a couple of days ago that reported on the explosion.

The three did not expect Nozaki Cangjian to suddenly question them about this incident, and they were caught off guard, not saying a word.

"Yesterday the deputy director asked if I had been following the news lately. I felt sothing was off and deliberately looked up the newspapers from the past few days. It was you...you are the ones who killed Tsunoda Shinro and Noda Jiro, right?"

Nozaki Cangjian asked, emotionally.

"Nozaki-san..." Saiji Taisen started to speak.

"Bang!" Nozaki Cangjian kicked the table hard and shouted in a pant, "Why didn’t you involve ? Do you not see as part of the group? I avoided trouble before because I wasn’t involved in the capture, but now you still keep out? Have you ever treated as one of your own?"

"It’s these three guys! Because these three were kidnapped, so many of our brothers died, and it led to your imprisonnt and my dismissal, making neither human nor ghost. I wanted to kill them, but I didn’t dare. Why didn’t you include ? Huh?"

As he spoke, he was already in tears, his unkempt appearance and scruffy beard made him look sincerely pitiful.

Considering Nozaki Cangjian’s situation over the years and the timing of his dismissal, the three n let down their guard temporarily, harboring no doubts.

"Nozaki-san, we...we thought you were doing well over the years and didn’t want you involved in this matter," Koizumi Hisahide said sincerely.

Nozaki Cangjian gave a wry smile, "Well? Whenever I close my eyes, I see images of you either dead or imprisoned, while I was unhard. How could I be alright? After the organization was restructured, I was transferred to another group where I didn’t fit in and was unwelco..."

There was a genuine earnestness in his words.

Because what he said was the truth he had experienced.

"It’s okay! It’s all in the past!" Fujimoto Takuya stepped forward to embrace him, patting his back, "Not being a cop is nothing serious. As long as we four brothers join hands, what venture can’t we succeed in?"

"Yeah, Cang Jian, it’s all in the past."

"Everything will get better."

Saiji and Koizumi also stepped forward to hug him.

The four n held each other tightly.

In Nozaki Cangjian’s eyes, a struggle and guilt flashed; he was leveraging the bond built upon life-and-death experiences from the past, but he had no choice. He couldn’t let them continue to kill, letting them make mistakes again and again.

As long as he obtained evidence of their murder and prevented them from killing San Dao Yifu, and persuaded them to turn themselves in voluntarily, Police Chief Aoyama had promised to advocate for leniency for them. This was indeed the best outco for the three.

Otherwise, they were sure to die. No one could outsmart Police Chief Aoyama, who had already confird that these three were the culprits behind the explosions.

"There’s still one alive; I want in."

Nozaki Cangjian spoke with unwavering determination.

The three instantly let go of him and looked at each other.

"Cang Jian, we’ve been in prison. Let us handle this kind of thing, you’re better off not getting involved," Fujimoto Takuya earnestly advised.

Nozaki Cangjian responded, "If you still see as part of the group, then agree. And besides, you’ve been away so long, the investigative techniques at the Police Headquarters have advanced by much. Having with you could help everyone escape punishnt more effectively after we finish the deed."

"Let’s agree then, or I’m afraid this guy will cut ties with us," Saiji Taisen said with a smile.

Fujimoto Takuya sighed resignedly and nodded.

Nozaki Cangjian imdiately revealed a slight smile.

"Alright, enough with the sentintality. Tonight, nobody leaves sober!" Koizumi Hisahide clapped his hands and said.

"Alright, alright, no one gets away tonight," Fujimoto Takuya raised his glass, stomping on the table as he loudly proclaid, "The first drink, to the brothers we’ve lost!"

"The second drink, to the friendships that never died!"

"The third drink, to send off San Dao Yifu!"

As the four glasses collided, they splashed out so drops of liquor that fell on the ground and the table.
