The church has a really strong barrier that protects it.
But those monsters will surely try to break through.
So there is no way they did not put a fight to defend the church.

The twin imdiately realized who is he.
Aiden didn't want to talk about that madman first. They have to focus on what he is going to do.

Aiden imdiately pulled his sword backwards. Ready to charge.

In a very short ti, three explosions occurred. One hit the Deadly Vulture. Two of those strikes in the Stairs of Serenity.
Aiden hesitated to shoot beforehand. Luckily Henry and Harry stepped in to protect him.

The two of them sacrificed one of their swords to fend off the madman's dark mana ball.

When the smoke that surrounded him began to dissipate, the madman, Jared, turned around to look at them.
When that happened, Deadly Vulture once again showered the church area with its AOE debuff.
This made Aiden angry and stepped forward. "You monster! What do you want from the church?!"
