Chapter 907: Chapter 497: The Failed Conclusion Chapter 907: Chapter 497: The Failed Conclusion A group of young n from the United States approached the dormitory with laughter, just as they had knocked on the door, a pair of cold eyes shot over.
Looking at those eyes, the carefully picked soldiers shook violently and couldn’t help but think of hungry wolves in the wilderness, devils in hell, and the Arican police who found Negro.
In any case, it was the look of spotting prey.
But the soldiers sent to lead the charge were exceptionally despicable people, several of whom were even experts in underground boxing on the streets, especially skilled in petty theft.
Michael had sent them over to probe the situation, and they wouldn’t return without doing sothing underhanded.
After all, the exercise had begun the mont they arrived here. If the other party suffered so losses, it was only because their training wasn’t enough, and no one else was to bla.
Suppressing the fear in their hearts, three soldiers leaned against the door, arms crossed, and teased, “There’s still so ti before lights out. How about we have a little entertainnt? 3V3, starting now?”
The room was filled with a tense atmosphere, and the warriors inside the dormitory coldly watched the soldiers at the door, under whose icy gaze dark undercurrents surged.
Finally, the dormitory leader spoke up: “Alright, to where?”
“Co out first.”
After seeking permission from his superiors, the deputy leader and a short team mber were called upon by the leader to head outside.
No sooner had the leader stepped out than two others hidden by the door pounced ferociously at him as he erged.
The sounds of fists swinging and bodies taking blows were incessant, accompanied by so muffled thuds of punches, and soon soone fell to the floor with a dull thud.
Michael’s adjutant waited quietly at the stairwell, even taking out a cigarette to smoke.
He wasn’t worried about his robust subordinates at all.
Bullying within the US Army was quite severe, and he had seen those guys fight – each one more fierce and brutal than the last.
There were only eight people in the Huaxia military camp at present, and it seed impossible for any problems to occur. All he needed to do was to co up with an excuse to report back.
Military, eh? It’s normal for the blood to run hot and frictions to occur. If you got beaten up, it’s just because you were not skilled enough.
After smoking four cigarettes, he heard the sounds of beating fade away, replaced by weak singing and clapping.
Checking the ti, he turned his head and shouted in that direction, “Enough, you… what are you doing!”
At the dormitory entrance, he was shocked to see the young n he had brought, squatting with arms crossed, every one of them bruised and battered, looking like they had received quite a beating.
The leader, holding a rubber shoe, slapped their faces occasionally with a cold voice, saying, “Sing louder. Don’t you know ‘Conquer’?”
“Louder! Weren’t you screaming loudly when you got hit?”
“Didn’t you have dinner? You had the strength to cause trouble but not the strength to sing?”
Dumbfounded by the scene, the adjutant’s lighter slipped from his hands and hit the floor with a crisp clinking sound.
Though not loud, the person giving orders imdiately turned around, staring sternly at the adjutant by the stairs.
Pointing to the squatting n, the leader coldly asked, “Do you recognize them?”
Glancing at the beaten figures on the ground, the adjutant decisively said, “Don’t recognize them! I’m just passing by!”
The leader threw the rubber shoe at him, then sprinted over. The adjutant didn’t hesitate, turned, and ran, only to see the leader leap down from the third floor, landing in front of him, and kick him into the ground with a blow to the stomach.
Dragging the white-faced adjutant, the leader pulled him up to the third floor and threw him heavily beside the other soldiers.
“Sing for !” said the leader fiercely.
“You can’t do this!” the adjutant protested, clutching his stomach, trying to endure the pain, “I am a major!”
“I don’t understand English,” replied the leader in fluent English.
“But you’re speaking it quite well!”
The rubber shoe was thrown hard at his face, followed by the leader’s stern voice: “Sing for . If you don’t know, let the others teach you!”
When Michael learned there had been a clash between his soldiers and the Huaxia warriors, he imdiately found Lan Guanghe and said, “It’s normal for soldiers to clash. I hope you don’t escalate the matter, and let this affect things further. Is that alright?”
Lan Guanghe looked at Michael, his fox-like eyes darting about, then laughed and nodded after a mont, saying, “Indeed, we can’t escalate it. Shall we both keep our restraint and resolve this rationally?”
“That’s good. Thank you for your understanding.”
Michael breathed a sigh of relief, pleased with himself, completely missing the fact that Lan Guanghe was holding back laughter.
Since that had once been the Red’s dormitory, Lan Guanghe didn’t go there, but sent a staff mber to accompany them.
When they arrived at the scene of the incident, from a distance, they could hear soone singing in broken Huaxia:
“…just like that, you conquer …”
Standing there, listening for a while, Michael turned to the interpreter beside him and whispered, “What is he singing?”
Before the interpreter could respond, a Huaxia staff mber translated fluidly into English and then looked at Michael with a smile, saying, “Seems like they’re getting along quite happily, doesn’t it?”
