Chapter 585: Chapter 338: The Administrators’ Decision (Third Update)_1 Chapter 585: Chapter 338: The Administrators’ Decision (Third Update)_1 “`
“What’s this, dinner for tonight?”
The woman wearing the clown mask and dressed in a black suit curiously looked at the child brought back by the Big Muscular Guy, asking with confusion.
Her response was the boning knife that Big Muscular Guy extended towards her, its sharp blade nearly slicing off her head.
This action made the clown scramble to the ground, pressing down her wide-brimd hat as she hurriedly exclaid, “I was just joking! I’m a clown, if you don’t let joke, I’ll die.”
“But not everything is suitable for jokes,” another woman said darkly.
This woman was dressed in a white dress, her hair ssy like seaweed, and still dripping water constantly.
She was the first custor here and a die-hard fan of Wang’s amusent park. After playing a few tis, she let go of her obsessions and joined Wang’s ranks, becoming an administrator here.
Wang even gave her a nickna for this place, Seaweed.
The boy had been placed on the staff’s bed by Big Muscular Guy, and although the clown kept saying it was her bed, that she had a fear of germs, no other administrator paid any attention to her, even indicating she should go check on the situation.
Having no other choice, the clown had to walk over to the boy, checked his condition, and then said, “Malnourished, the wounds on his body are fresh trauma, with clear signs of being shocked, seemingly abused. And also, he’s alive.”
Upon hearing the clown’s analysis, the Big Muscular Guy beca angry.
Although he appeared rather fierce, Big Muscular Guy actually quite liked children.
However, not many children ca here because this place clearly aid to make kids cry, so he never had the chance to show his tender side.
Now, after hearing that this rare boy had been abused, he imdiately decided to annihilate the culprit without leaving a trace, to let them die without the possibility of death again, and to reflect on their sins in hell.
“Calm down, Big Muscular Guy. Pfft, your na is really funny,” the clown couldn’t help but laugh and said, “First, let’s think of a way to treat the child, eh? Who’s the doctor around here? Oh, it’s .”
Shrugging her shoulders, the clown could only leave and then went to the hospital ghost house, where she stripped so bandages off a nurse and, despite the unfriendly gaze of the doctor there, she took their dical kit.
These props were originally ant to give the visitors a better sense of experience, but they did have so actual effects, and now they could just be used to treat the boy.
Humming a tune, she bandaged him up and said, “This child is quite pitiable, his eyes are already gone. Judging from the wounds on the eyes, one of the eyeballs must have been severely damaged and not treated promptly, while the immune system dissolved the other one. There’s also damage to the throat, probably caused by inhaling toxic gases.”
“Can he be saved?” Seaweed asked quietly.
“Saving him is no problem, but a full recovery might be difficult. I must have known quite a bit about treatnt in my life, but after dying, I’ve mostly forgotten what I knew. Where’s the boss?”
“He’s not around; it’s been a few hours since he showed up.”
“Right when he’s needed most. Oh, the boy is waking up.”
Seeing the boy showing signs of awakening, Big Muscular Guy imdiately wanted to leave, but the clown stopped him.
Laughing with a sneer, the clown said unkindly, “What are you hiding for? Worried he’ll be scared of you? You’re such a big guy, yet you’re quite delicate.”
Big Muscular Guy gave a roar and grabbed the clown by the collar, lifting her up.
“Wanting to hit , huh? But just a reminder, if you hit , then I won’t take care of the boy.”
“Grrr~”
“I just love the way you want to hit but don’t dare to. Alright, he’s awake now.”
The boy took a few rapid breaths and then sat up confusedly.
It took him a very long ti to realize he was still alive.
Once he ca to his senses, he imdiately opened his mouth and hoarsely shouted, “Uncle…”
“You’re quite impolite, kid,” the clown said displeased, “I’m eternally eighteen, who are you calling uncle?”
“Shut your mouth!” Seaweed, displeased, pushed the clown aside, “He’s not calling you.”
Hearing the voice, the boy asked intermittently, “Who are you…?”
“Of course, we’re the good guys, what else?” the clown continued to ask.
“Thank you…”
“At least you have so manners. Big Muscular Guy, where are you off to?”
Big Muscular Guy turned and left, and when he ca back, he held a bowl of thick soup in his hands.
The soup was dark and mixed with unidentifiable pieces of at and black vegetables; anyone would frown upon seeing this soup, but it actually tasted quite good.
Clutching the bowl, the boy sipped the soup, but eventually, he began to cry again.
“Big Muscular Guy, you made him cry,” the clown said gleefully.
“Shut up…” Seaweed, exasperated, covered her head, “Can’t you talk less for once?”
“Can’t change my personality, it’s hopeless. And have you guys noticed? He’s using our language, and he also understands what we’re saying.”
“Is that so strange?”
“Very strange, what does that an? It ans he shares the sa origin as us. An alive person having the sa origin as us is pretty odd, don’t you think?”
“That’s true… Why is that?”
“How should I know? But the current problem is not that, it’s how do we deal with this child?”
“`
The Clown’s question plunged the other managers into silence.
Though quite a chatterbox, the Clown had always been the most lucid one in the team.
Death can change a person’s state, making the rational go mad and the calm turn violent.
But it can also preserve so virtues, with reason being the Clown’s greatest treasure kept.
Their horror the park, everything here served to terrorize, not least the psychotic visitors that ca in droves.
The best option at the mont would be to send him to another amusent park, to let so more peaceful place take the boy in and offer him better help.
But the problem was, they had no authority to go anywhere else.
The amusent park belonged to Wang, and only Wang could go to other amusent parks. Once they beca ghost employees here, they were bound to this place, unable to leave.
After a long ti of contemplation, the boy on the bed suddenly stamred, “I… I’ll be good… please don’t abandon …”
“Quite the will to live, huh?” the Clown quipped.
“Mm… I promised the uncle… I must survive… the uncle saved … I must live on for the uncle…”
Seeing the boy’s expression harden with resolve, the Seaweed tenderly embraced him, whispering softly, “It’s okay, we’ll take care of you.”
The Seaweed’s body was very cold, but the boy still felt a trace of warmth emanating from within and couldn’t help but sob quietly.
Watching this, the Clown shook her arms, grumbling discontentedly, “I hate crying the most, can’t this kid even smile? Don’t look at , I know you want to keep him, but that’s not very realistic. There are so many crazies here, just turn right at the next door and you’re at the Madhouse. Every employee there is a lunatic, itching to hack at anyone they see, it’s absolutely not possible to keep him here.”
“Then where do you think we should send him now?” Seaweed asked dissatisfied.
“Send him back where he ca from,” was the reply.
Upon hearing the Clown say he should be sent back, the boy imdiately grew anxious, “I… won’t go back…”
“… As you wish. I’m off to smoke one, do whatever you like. But rember, don’t let him out, otherwise I’ve no idea what could happen outside.”
Pulling out a slim lady’s cigarette, the Clown stuck it into the mouthpiece of her mask and left without looking back.
She sat at the door, lighting up, then annoyed, ruffled her hair and headed for the exit, arriving shortly at the outskirts of the amusent park.
There, she saw the pathway through which the boy had arrived.
The passage had appeared suddenly, marked by a door bathed in red light, an ominous hue dyeing the interior with a dangerous, crimson veil.
Behind the passage was a staircase leading upward, although its upper reaches were not visible from the outside.
She had never before seen such a bizarre passageway, but she quickly realized she wasn’t actually all that surprised.
“Hmm, looks like I must’ve seen this thing before, but I forgot about it after dying once. Death’s really a bitch, feels like I’ve forgotten too much,” she mumbled to herself.
Breathing out a puff of smoke, the Clown was about to investigate when she noticed sothing seed to be coming out of the passage.
It was a human-sized white rabbit stained with fresh blood.
Wielding an ax, it erged and, after staring at the Clown at the door for a while, smiled and said, “Ah, a kindred spirit. Have you seen a little boy around, very small, the type that feels good to dismber?”
Blowing a smoke ring, the Clown skillfully manipulated it to form the Olympic rings in midair before waving them away.
After toying with the smoke, she asked, “Who might you be?”
“A rabbit, can’t you see? Have you seen a little boy around, very small, the type that feels good to dismber?”
The rabbit seed to lack eloquence, its tone sowhat flat and repetitive.
Casually crushing her cigarette, the Clown scoffed, “Seen him, but what’s it to you?”
“Hoarding prey isn’t nice, he’s mine. But I can share half with you, do you want the upper or lower half?”
“Boring,” she retorted.
“Hoarding prey isn’t nice, he’s mine. If you insist on this, then I’ll have no choice but to butcher you.”
With that, the rabbit’s body began to enlarge, its muscles swelled, and its fur vanished, replaced by terrifying muscles.
Clutching the ax in its hand, it approached the Clown with heavy breaths, snarling, “It’s not nice to steal others’ prey, naughty children must be punished.”
Faced with the muscular rabbit towering nearly a ter taller than herself, the Clown sighed and then, using her manager’s authority, transported herself and the rabbit to the Big Escape Battlefield.
Clearing her throat, the Clown called out, “Special event, the Halloween Rabbit has made an appearance. Everyone is free to attack the rabbit. Whoever kills it will get a Wang life-sized body pillow as a prize.”
No sooner had she finished speaking than the ground began to tremble.
Fiercely vicious visitors rushed toward the spot, baring their ferocious smiles at the rabbit.
Ard with various weapons, with a gleam of bloodlust in their eyes, their terrifying visage made the rabbit feel fear for the first ti, eliciting incomprehensible threats.
But that was all they were, threats.
To get their hands on the life-size Wang body pillow, they dove at the rabbit before them, launching a frenzied assault.
Watching the terrifying visitors and the rabbit’s screams, the Clown lit another cigarette and then, gazing into the sky, said pensively, “See, I said so, in a place like this, how could you possibly raise a kid well?”
