Chapter 529: Chapter 309: Let’s Have a DLC (One More)_1
Based on the information he had acquired, Fang Cheng discovered that the origin of this demon was sowhat mysterious.
To this world, he too was a foreigner, his status akin to that of a vanguard.
Even as a vanguard, though, he was a decent cultivator, but after entering this place, he found himself ensnared by the strange environnt, unable to free himself.
His cultivation technique was also enigmatic—many of its concepts were neither orthodox nor of the Demon Sect, but rather a thod that slaughtered living beings for personal gain.
This technique had existed before, but it had never beco mainstream due to the excessive blood consumption it required. To reach the level of a Demon Lord, the blood required was imasurable, and without daily consumption, one’s mana would continuously degrade.
Yet this technique was even more rapid than the Demon Lord’s in terms of advancent, and its growth potential was almost on par with a Heavenly Lord. As long as there was sufficient blood, growth could continue indefinitely.
...
Due to its unique nature, the technique was eliminated shortly after it erged, with only so minor places still practising it, though never to any significant effect.
Unexpectedly, Fang Cheng now encountered soone here still cultivating such a technique, and it seed quite replenished, indicating that corresponding techniques were being perfected by a great power.
After so thought, Fang Cheng reached out and grabbed the demon he had just killed with a palm strike, pulling it back once again.
The demon, resurrected for the second ti, was utterly terrified. After coming back to life, it scread miserably and turned to flee, but was once again pulled back by Fang Cheng.
Finding escape impossible, the demon pleaded bitterly, “Esteed Immortal, please let go. I will return to serve you as an ox or horse for the rest of my life, tending to your every need.”
Not in the mood for idle chatter, Fang Cheng injected a surge of mana; the demon in front of him let out a scream, only to realize he had not died.
Instead, as the mana entered his body, it transford into the blood essence he needed; the surging blood essence was unceasing, and the mountainous energy it provided made him shiver in comfort as his cultivation rose swiftly.
In no ti, he felt that his strength had reached its pinnacle—the sky was dense with tribulation clouds, marking the final calamity of his ascension to immortality.
However, far from fearing the natural disaster aid at cultivators, he laughed loudly, dispersing the tribulation clouds in the sky with a single breath and directly ascended to the realm of an Immortal.
The mana within his body was boundless, with various divine skills and techniques erging endlessly; at this mont, the demon felt incredibly powerful, and the two individuals before him seed no longer significant.
“Hahaha, you idiotic child, you’ve actually helped break through! Such a useless brain, it might as well be… gua!”
With a scream, the demon was again killed with a palm strike by Fang Cheng, who then resud his analysis.
“Hmm, there’s no issue with the cultivation level; this technique actually has no flaws, truly outrageous. It seems this technique cos from another world, could it be created by a great foe who pursues others? Hmm, it’s still worth further study.”
Zhou ZiYi watched Fang Cheng with trembling excitent.
Such a ruthless and insane Immortal truly gave a great sense of security!
The demon, now an Immortal for the third ti, faced resurrection as Fang Cheng was about to continue his research when he heard the despairing shout, “Don’t you overdo it! Demon Lord, save !”
Accompanied by his anguished cry, the recently elevated demon’s cultivation began to plumt as the blood essence forced out of his body ford a complex array, allowing an entity from the outside to sense his voice and co tearing through.
The air around them grew colder, and Zhou ZiYi, who was unable to resist this sudden chill, involuntarily hugged his shoulders, trembling.
And as the array was fully ford, an odd voice erged from within it. A vast aura spread out, making Zhou ZiYi aware that so terrifying presence was about to arrive.
“Yi, it’s been years, yet you boy have managed to achieve Immortality. This shows that you do possess so talent. Very well, in consideration of your talent, I can ensure your safety. I am Arrogant Demon Lord; I wonder who you are… ah! Wretch, you’ve dood !”
Before he could even erge, the Arrogant Demon Lord sensed the presence on the other side, and his intense scream of terror resonated through the heavens, revealing his fear.
Fang Cheng couldn’t bother with the demon any longer as the array in the sky vanished at a faster pace, though it was already too late.
Stepping through the array, Fang Cheng directly entered the other side, and monts later, returned from within.
Dusting off the ashes from his body, he spoke indifferently, “So improvent, indeed. He even managed to send out a ssage. It seems he’s also practiced the foreigner’s technique.”
Feeling the terrifying aura disappear, Zhou ZiYi asked, “Heavenly Lord, did you encounter any trouble?”
“No, just a matter of Palm Thunder. This Demon Lord didn’t know much, he even used ‘Silent Ti’ on himself. The fellow on that side is being overly cautious, it seems.”
Zhou ZiYi looked at Fang Cheng, feeling that it wasn’t caution but rather preparedness for any eventuality.
After dealing with the Arrogant Demon Lord, Fang Cheng gestured invitingly to the now terrified demon, who realizing he had been drained of value and lacking any will to resist, took his own life to end his suffering.
Having resolved this small interlude, Fang Cheng, with Zhou ZiYi in tow, continued to follow his shadow, flying in the direction he ca from.
But behind him, a Primordial Spirit erged, following the last wishes to an unknown destination.
And so, the last words of the Arrogant Demon Lord ultimately flew towards soplace uncharted.
