Chapter 388: Chapter 237 All About Emotion, No Acting (Second Update)_1

Slowly moving forward, Wang pushed aside the wheat, the traces behind him quickly swept away by the waves of wheat, leaving nothing behind.

When he reached the child sitting in front of him playing the flute, Wang found him to be a little boy who had eyes but lacked the other facial features.

Though his appearance was sowhat peculiar, the boy did not look frightening; in fact, he was rather cute.

His slightly cartoonish eyes seed to speak, making Wang feel as if he could see the boy’s thoughts through his eyes.

And although he had no mouth, the boy was still able to play the flute, a contradictory design that sohow didn’t feel out of place at this mont but instead added a kind of whimsical charm.

What’s more interesting was that the sound of the flute did not dissipate but turned into musical notes that slowly floated into the air.

Wang had read so background information before and knew the boy had a unified title, “Far Traveler”.

They needed to travel constantly, heading toward their destination, never resting.

As Wang approached, the boy stopped playing and then patted a stone beside him, indicating for Wang to co up.

The stone wasn’t high, and after a few jumps, Wang reached the stone and sat down beside the boy.

The boy took out his flute and continued to play, but after a while, he stopped and looked at Wang puzzledly.

“What does this an?” Wang murmured to himself, looking at the boy’s expression.

Imdiately after, he nodded in understanding, “Do you want to join in a duet? But I don’t have an instrunt. Can this ga use a microphone?”

The boy also had an expression of sudden realization.

He tilted his head in thought, searched his pockets for a long ti, and took out a crumpled ticket, a letter written in an indiscernible language, a few dried flowers, and nothing else.

Realizing he had no additional instrunts, the boy could only sigh regretfully and then pointed toward the distance, signaling Wang to follow.

Though the boy hadn’t spoken at all, Wang found his expressions incredibly rich, and his lively eyes seed as if they could speak, making Wang feel as though he could communicate with him.

Parting the waves of wheat, Wang followed the boy forward.

The sound of the flute in his ears and the endless waves of wheat in front of his eyes created a dreamy landscape that made Wang feel as if he was in a tranquil dream, just going along with the unfolding dream.

This feeling was very peculiar; in a more typical ga, this would be the ti to add so interaction and voiceover to keep the player from becoming bored and quitting.

But “Rember ” was like a ga created by novices, who strangely pulled out the walking in the wheat field section for a long ti, a full five minutes of almost no rise and fall, just silent walking.

Yet for so reason, Wang had no desire to leave.

The lodious flute sound, the refreshing scenery, the endearing character design… Their interaction made Wang feel as if he were gradually blending into them, rging with the characters in the ga world and truly arriving within the ga’s realm.

Even though the boy did not speak, the sound of his flute conveyed a lot, and Wang felt as if he could understand the boy’s language and gradually ca to know his story.

Five minutes later, they finally reached the end.

They had arrived at the edge of the wheat field and ca upon a small path through the woods.

Turning his head, Wang found that his own trail had been covered by the wheat field, the expansive waves of wheat rise and fall with the wind, erasing everything into silence.

After thinking it over a bit, Wang actually felt sowhat reluctant to leave.

In today’s world of fast-paced gas, this relaxed and leisurely sensation was truly rare.

And what surprised Wang even more ca later.

Walking into the woods ahead, Wang discovered that what lay behind him wasn’t the forest he’d expected, but a silver-white beach and sea. Although only separated by a row of tall trees, this place felt like two different worlds, making Wang feel incredibly amazed.

The boy, however, seed quite used to this, stepping barefoot onto the sand and searching through the wet sand until he found what he was looking for.

After washing the object in the seawater and decorating it with a shell, the boy excitedly ran back holding a palm-sized white conch and handed it over to Wang.

Though he still didn’t speak, Wang clearly felt that the boy wanted him to take this object.

Taking the conch in hand, Wang found that a playing function had been added to his computer screen.

Using this function, the character on the screen put the conch to his mouth, the sound produced was not tuneful, startling the boy into stepping back, but then he showed a happy gaze.

After rinsing the sand off his feet, the boy indicated to Wang that it was okay, just practice a few more tis.

But every ti Wang practiced, the boy laughed, though his laughter held no malice, it was just pure amusent.

However, with each practice, Wang felt as if the tune he played sounded a little better.

As Wang continued to practice, his screen shook slightly, and the boy, excited, pointed towards the distance, signaling Wang to look.

It was only at this mont that Wang noticed, in the misty distance, there was a grand temple on the other side of the mountain, the foggy edifice resembling so sort of sleeping giant, its majestic stature making it seem like an ancient god, posessing a divine aura that commanded respect.

While Wang was absorbed in the impact of the grand temple, the lodious sound of the flute started up again, lifting him up with it, leading him towards the building in the sky.
