Chapter 361: Chapter 224: Steel Factory (Part 1)_1
Asking Fei to be patient, Fang Cheng returned to his own studio and began looking for gas that featured exploration, unknown elents, and stealth gaplay, playing through them one by one.
Afterward, Fang Cheng realized that even with three defining keywords, there were still many gas of this type, providing different gaming experiences.
“tal Gear” is a classic stealth ga, though Fang Cheng didn’t understand why a cardboard box could block the enemy’s line of sight, if you consider that the box was enchanted with a spell, it made sense.
“Commandos” is also a stealth ga, although as you play, it often turns into a group of people standing together, shooting, and taking out an entire camp of Soldiers, but so levels still posed a challenge when there were few people around.
Board gas like “Cthulhu Mythos” also have elents of exploration and the unknown, though Fang Cheng didn’t understand why those ancient gods induced fear when they actually tasted quite decent.
After playing these gas, Fang Cheng found that gas truly encompass everything, and various experiences could be found within them.
It could be said that gas are the limitations of the Human Clan’s fantasies and the collection of dreams, decades of dreams have concentrated in this field, making gas profound and extensive.
So, where can one find the elents that bring oneself joy?
Discovering that he couldn’t find an answer at the mont, Fang Cheng felt it was necessary to have the people who owed him a debt to scout ahead.
“Mysterious Mirror, can you co over for a bit?”
When summoned, Mysterious Mirror was chatting with Gao Tianyun and drawing up an experintal plan.
Upon hearing Fang Cheng’s voice, Mysterious Mirror imdiately excused himself and swiftly returned to the studio, then found Fang Cheng in the conference room and eagerly asked, “Boss, what’s up? Is there finally a use for ? Who do you want to kill?”
“Don’t be too eager to kill, just mind a little errand for .”
“Where to? I can leave at any ti! Any place!”
“Another world.”
“Eh!”
Mysterious Mirror felt its fur stand on end, and a dozen potential last words surged in its heart, making it imdiately choose the most economical one.
“Spare , Boss!”
“Off you go.”
Mysterious Mirror only felt its surroundings change, and in the next second, it was back in the Shadow World, arriving inside a laboratory.
Looking down, it saw that its body had turned back into a Teddy Bear. Thankfully, this was its avatar, not its true self, making Mysterious Mirror realize that Fang Cheng wanted to use it, not use it up.
This discovery made Mysterious Mirror breathe a sigh of relief, then it thought about how the boss was too straightforward, making it troubleso to understand.
But in the next mont, panic set in again.
A group of non-player Squirrels didn’t seem surprised by its arrival. They clumsily dressed it in a specially made astronaut suit, dragged it to the front of the black hole, and forcefully threw it in.
“Eh!”
The astronaut suit on its body was specially made, able to resist the erosion of the black hole and allow it to pass through the gate called the Slide Rail successfully.
Floating in the black hole, it finally heard Fang Cheng’s voice, “Hey, can you hear ?”
“Boss!”
“Next, your task is…”
“Wait a minute, where am I going? Don’t send to such places without explanation!”
“You were the one who said any place, any ti.”
“I was just being polite with you, don’t take it literally!”
“Hmm… okay. The place you’re going to is the Iron Fortress, where a group of Artifact Spirits like you are calling themselves the Iron Guards. Originally, another Artifact Spirit volunteered, but its deathly aura was too heavy, and it would die upon coming here.”
Pondering Fang Cheng’s words, Mysterious Mirror hoped, “So you an, I won’t die, right?”
“No, you can co back to life after you die.”
“Boss!”
“It’s good for you to die a lot. Each ti is like repaying a debt. Die a dozen tis…”
“And it’ll be cleared?”
“You’ll be able to pay off so of the interest.”
“…How much do I owe, exactly?”
“Do you want to know? I can calculate it for you.”
“…No need, just give so hope.”
Using its CPU to think a bit, Mysterious Mirror knew it probably owed far too much if dying a dozen tis would only cover the interest.
To keep living a happy life, it’s better not to ask certain questions.
Knowing that it was bound to endure a dozen stabs anyway, Mysterious Mirror resigned itself to fate.
“So Boss, my task is…”
“To infiltrate the Iron Fortress, get a clear picture of the situation, so I can create a ga based on it.”
“Then why don’t you co yourself?”
“I can’t send too strong a presence here, or just sensing my thoughts would make the Artifact Spirits explode. So, I have to keep my power low and cling to your body. This also ans my perceptions are a bit blurry, so I need you to describe most things. Alright, we’re here.”
Just then, Mysterious Mirror felt the darkness around it fade away, and, wearing the astronaut suit, it landed directly on a steel floor.
Getting up, it saw the lights were bright around it, and then a material truck loaded with supplies ca barreling towards it.
Hurriedly dodging, it watched the material truck race into the distance. Just as it was about to check out the situation, another silent material truck flew towards it, slamming it into pieces.
“Damn it!”
Two seconds later, Mysterious Mirror climbed up from where it had first landed, covering its chest, still shaken by the collision.
After checking itself over and finding no damage, it breathed a sigh of relief only to see the material truck speeding at it again.
