The sun hung low in the sky, casting a warm golden hue over the vast expanse of mountains that stretched as far as the eye could see. The landscape was breathtaking, a serene blend of towering cliffs, lush valleys, and a sky painted with streaks of orange and pink. We had driven for hours to reach this secluded spot, perched high on a cliff, far away from the rest of the world. It was peaceful up here, with nothing but the sound of the wind and the distant call of birds echoing through the air.

I ran around, feeling the wind

I felt free.

"Isn’t it beautiful?" I asked, my voice barely audible over the soft whoosh of the wind.

Hael stood beside , silent but content, his silver hair catching the sunlight in a way that made it look almost ethereal. It was just the two of us, surrounded by nature, with nothing to distract us from each other.

Without thinking, I ran ahead toward the edge of the cliff. The wind picked up as I reached the precipice, whipping through my hair and filling with a sense of exhilaration. I closed my eyes for a mont, letting the breeze wash over , carrying with it the scents of pine and fresh earth. My dress fluttered around , and for a mont, I felt like I could fly.

"The wind here reminds of your room in the tower," I called out, a soft laugh escaping my lips as I turned around, expecting Hael to follow .

But what I saw took my breath away.

!!!

Hael wasn’t standing where I had left him. Instead, he was kneeling just a few feet behind , his eyes fixed on mine with an intensity that made my heart skip a beat. My breath caught in my throat as I took in the sight of him—his tall, elegant figure kneeling against the backdrop of the majestic mountains, the fading light casting long shadows across his face.

For a mont, the world seed to stand still.

"What... what are you doing?" I asked, my voice trembling slightly.

Hael didn’t answer right away. His gaze was steady, unwavering, filled with so much emotion that I felt my heart swell in response. Slowly, he reached into his pocket, and when his hand erged, he was holding a small, delicate box. My heart raced as realization dawned on , and I brought my hand to my mouth, stunned into silence.

He opened the box, revealing a ring—a simple yet beautiful piece, with a single big diamond that shimred like the sky above us and a gold ring under it. The light danced off the surface of the ring, casting tiny rainbows that seed to reflect the beauty of the world around us.

"Amber," Hael began, his voice soft but steady. My heart was pounding now, tears pricking at the corners of my eyes. "I know I’ve made mistakes," He continued, his voice growing more earnest. "But I swear to you, You’re my everything, and I can’t imagine a future without you."

He paused for a mont, his eyes softening as he looked up at , his vulnerability clear in every word he spoke.

"So,Will you marry ?"

I stood there, frozen, overwheld by the raw emotion of the mont. I could hear my heart beating in my ears, and the wind seed to echo the question Hael had just asked. The world was spinning, and yet, everything felt perfectly still, like we were suspended in a bubble of ti.

I looked at him, kneeling there, his expression filled with hope and love. I couldn’t stop the tears from falling but I didn’t want to get emotional.

"We are already married," I smirked

"Then, Will you marry again?" He smirked back.

Without hesitation, I dropped to my knees in front of him, my hands trembling as I reached out to touch his face. "Yes," I whispered, my voice thick with emotion. "Yes, Hael. I will marry you."

His face lit up with a smile that could have rivaled the sun itself. He slid the ring onto my finger, and as soon as he did, he pulled into his arms, holding tightly against his chest. I could feel his heart beating fast, and I knew mine matched the rhythm.

We stayed like that for a while, just holding each other as the wind continued to blow around us. The mountains stood tall and silent, witnesses to the promise we had just made. The world felt infinite in that mont, with nothing but the sky above us and the earth beneath us, and I knew—no matter what ca next, no matter how hard things might get—we would face it all together once again.

"I love you," Hael whispered into my hair, his lips brushing against my forehead.

"I love you too," I whispered back, my arms tightening around him.

As we pulled apart slightly, Hael cupped my face in his hands, his thumbs gently brushing away the tears that had spilled down my cheeks. "I’ve waited for this mont for so long," He said, his voice barely above a whisper.

I smiled at him.

Hael smiled, his eyes shining with a tenderness that made my heart flutter. "You’re mine now," He said, his voice soft but possessive. "Forever."

I nodded, knowing that I felt the sa. "Forever," I echoed, my hand resting on his chest, feeling the steady beat of his heart beneath my fingertips.

We stood together at the edge of the cliff, the mountains towering around us, the sky above us beginning to shift into deeper shades of pink and purple.

"Now," I pinched his cheek softly, "Give my answer."

He chuckled, "Well, I did just say sothing that might add to the context."

"Hmm?"

"I told you I’ve waited for this for a long ti." He said, "The thing is, the spell I made did work but,"

’But?"

"I rembered you since I was a kid and I had to spend years alone waiting for you."

"OH?!" I was shocked. I didn’t even think about that.

"I’ve been looking for you for years." He confessed, "I was still wrong," He said, "I shouldn’t have pretended not to know you, but I just wanted you to pursue . That was all." He let out a soft breath, "I was the one chasing after you for so long. I just wanted to see if you’d do the sa." He smirked, then kissed my cheek out of nowhere.

His words actually made my heart ache.

"Were you lonely?" I asked, slowly wrapping my arms around him

He passed a smile but his eyes looked so broken, "Very much," His words broke . I could see it in his expression and it brought a lot of pain and suddenly his little prank didn’t matter at all, "But it’s fine now," He pulled into a hug, "You’re back."

I hugged him back as tightly as I could, "Yes," I snuggled against him, "We’ll be together from now on."

The day was perfect, more beautiful than I had ever imagined. As I stood in front of the mirror, the weight of the mont slowly began to sink in.

My wedding day—our wedding day.

My heart raced as I took in my reflection. The gown was nothing short of exquisite, a delicate creation of silk and lace, hugging my form perfectly before flowing into a long, sweeping train. The intricate floral embroidery glistened under the light, making it seem as though the flowers were alive, blooming along the fabric.

The veil was long and sheer, a soft whisper of fabric that frad my face, giving an ethereal glow. My hair, loosely curled, was pinned up with small, crystal pins that twinkled like stars. I barely recognized myself, but I knew that I was exactly where I was ant to be.

Today, I would marry Hael.

There was a soft knock on the door, and my mother peeked in, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "You look breathtaking, Amber," She whispered, stepping into the room. She smoothed out an imaginary wrinkle in my dress and placed a gentle kiss on my cheek. "Are you ready?"

The only thing that made this wedding better was that I had my family celebrating with and Hael has his.

I nodded, though my nerves were beginning to flutter. I hadn’t seen Hael since the night before, as per tradition, and the anticipation of seeing him at the end of the aisle was nearly unbearable. My mother took my hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze before leading out of the room and toward the grand hall.

The venue itself was sothing out of a dream. The wedding was being held in a magnificent hall, its vaulted ceilings reaching impossibly high, the sunlight pouring through the stained-glass windows, casting colorful patterns on the polished marble floors. The air slled faintly of fresh roses and jasmine, with garlands of flowers adorning every surface. The soft hum of the orchestra playing in the background added to the magic of the atmosphere, filling the space with a sense of grandeur and anticipation.

As we approached the grand doors, I could hear the soft murmur of guests on the other side. Celebrities, business partners, models, a lot of big shots were here because of Hestia.

I had my college and school friends here.

The doors opened slowly, revealing the grand hall beyond. My breath hitched as I took in the sight. The aisle was lined with candles and flowers, creating a path of light leading directly to where Hael stood. And there he was, at the altar, looking more handso than I had ever seen him. He was dressed in a classic white tuxedo, tailored perfectly to his form, his silver hair tied back elegantly.

I barely heard the gasps of admiration from the guests as I stepped into view. My father appeared beside , his arm steadying as we began our slow walk down the aisle.

I didn’t get to do this in my previous life and I’m so happy I could live this dream in this life.

My heart pounded in my chest. As I reached the altar, my father kissed my forehead and handed over to Hael. His hand was warm and steady as it took mine, grounding in the mont. For a brief second, the world seed to fade away, and it was just the two of us standing there, surrounded by the beauty and the magic of the day.

We took our vows

Kissed

The people cheered for us.

We had a big family photo taken and then we all continued to the after party.

It was a wonderful day. And at the end, Hael and I went to our new house that Hestia had bought for us as a gift. It was the start of another life and we were happy

But sohow, troubles always seem to follow.
