Isabelle’s red eyes stripped from its last sanity. Anger that she tried to conceal finally showed its true form, showing the face of soone whose heart had never once touch peace, always at the edges of anger and hatred. She swept her hands angrily, throwing the shattered petals she had crushed under her hands out of anger, "Never. NEVER tell that those n and I are the sa! Maybe your power gave hope and maybe I wish to use your power a little bit so what? I am borrowing your help the way I have helped you! Isn’t it right for you to help in exchange for my kindness?"

"Then I should repay you anyti you did good for ?" Arabella snapped back. "Then how can I be sure that all the things you have done for was out of the kindness of your heart and gratitude or whether it was done because you wish for to repay you when things gone sour?"

Unable to say anything back as it was the truth, Isabelle clicked her tongue, "Cassius that bastard is now a king and there had never been a history of a king who doesn’t have a consort. He will soon divide his heart for any other won in the court."

"Isabelle," Bella cut her words, her expression when Isabelle realized was one filled with disappointnt and disgust. "Why is it that you have to always tell of what others wouldn’t do for to make you as a saint for ? I trust Cassius. I trust him more than my life. At least he never told that I owe him anything despite all the things he had cast away for ."

Having had enough of the conversation, Arabella stifled her sigh and turned away. This would be the last day she would see Isabelle and a part of her felt terrible as she recalls the ti where things were good, where Isabelle had helped her, where Isabelle had been the only friend she could ever have.

As she reached the entrance of the garden, she heard a loud yell from Isabelle, "I love you!"

Arabella, stunned, almost to the point that her body froze. She turned and saw the desperation on Isabelle’s face as she clutched to the dress she wore, "I love you— I really do! And I can promise you that my love for you is more loyal than anyone in this land."

It was unthinkable that a woman could have feeling for another woman, at least for the day and age they were in, Isabelle was rare or perhaps not.

Arabella was startled beyond words, shocked, and she didn’t know what to response. But disgust wasn’t the first thing she felt, rather it was a deep disappointnt.

"Even as you tell you love , I can sll that you have said those words just because you don’t want to lose to Cassius," Arabella pointed out her real feelings and Isabelle’s face turned blue at once as she realized that Arabella could really read through hearts, knowing the truth that though she claims she likes her, deep down the truth is, she simply didn’t just want to lose Arabella to Cassius, feeling jealous of the man.

Arabella who had said enough knew that nothing was going to change from here and walked away, not knowing how Isabelle had began to mutter on her own.

How is it... how could she lose to a man?

Isabelle couldn’t accept it.

Cassius was ruthless as he is cruel. Besides wasn’t it because of Cassius that Arabella had to be brought to court and face so many danger? It’s clear to everyone with eyes that Cassius is an impatient man with a black dark heart that was always bottomless to violence. He said he loves Arabella but what if one day that changes?

Isabelle knew for sure that n changes their love as quickly as they toss away a dirty handkerchief. But she was soone who would stay by the things she loves even when ti had corrode them.

So... how could Arabella say that she’s worse than Cassius? Worse than that man who always have the scent of blood clinging onto him?

Worse than the man who was far too similar to her own father?

Losing to a man... a man?

True. She does want to use Bella’s power but that was to gain control of her kingdom... with a witch on her hand, her father, everyone, every n in that castle whose eyes have always been drenched with lust will begin to learn their lesson...

Never has she expected that Arabella would reject her...

’Do it then,’ a voice echoed in Isabelle’s head. A voice that was familiar as it was minutes earlier when she had seen the owner of the voice spoke to her. That woman dressed in the li dress had smiled while giving her a bracelet, saying that would be a good luck charm, as she said how she was about to bring the person she loves back ho.

That woman said, ’It’s going to be difficult to convince soone to trust your love and stay with you for the rest of their life. I do wish you a good luck, Miss. I hope that you like my story, you can bring him back ho safely and spend the rest of your life with him. Take this bracelet, it’s a form of good luck charm, for you. It’s a bracelet that would fill you with courage to do everything you want; to bring the person you love with you forever.’

By the ti Isabelle had reached behind Arabella, her red eyes had grown hazy with rage and fury. In her hand was a silverware knife that she had brought from the tea party table.

Arabella herself hadn’t heard anything. Although now trained, Isabelle’s bracelet that had glowed on her wrist had erased all of Isabelle’s presence, allowing her to sneak behind Arabella with arms raised and the knife running down to Arabella’s neck.
