Azrael popped out of the shadows in a rather secluded street, the hustle and bustle of the great city of Cairo a symphony of noises that rose up into the air to shroud his presence, he took a minute to take a breath, leaning against a random wall as he chuckled to himself while at the sa ti grimacing in pain.
His wrist still felt weird from the Geas that had been forced on him and Cole, looking back, perhaps he should not have been so wanton in his bid to escape from Cole. But in his defense his emotions, sothing that he really didn't think he had any of left, were all over the place and Cole took great advantage of it.
But now that things had finally slowed down enough for him to take a breather he realized his entire nerves were on edge, his focus sharpened and that was because with each second that passed, Azrael had this intense feeling that Cole was watching him, and that sohow he was currently in Cole's own backyard.
And this was the significance of Azrael's clash and eting with Cole, ultimately he had been forced to grow, in more ways than one as he got ever closer to his creators dream of a being from a perfect race. Unique and the only one of it's kind. Who knew the journey to that perfection is trying to kill a man that frankly speaking by this point Azrael felt that the entire universe was trying to protect.
He looked down at his arm to see black veins stretched over his skin. He could feel it within him, the void, swallowing and twisting his insides like a poison. Perhaps death was not too far away from Azrael, but even at that, even if the void swallows him….he had fun? Battling with his life on the edge where the situation could change at any minute had woken sothing in him that he never thought was there, and he was hoping to feed that thing that has been awoken, to let it grow. Because whatever this feeling was, that made him so eager to step out and go look for a fight, he absolutely loved it.
Azrael took a minute to go through so of his ssages. The mont they were dropped here he recognized imdiately that they were on earth, their own earth and not the multiple realities his perception had been able to see through every ti Cole moved.
Of course he really only knew one person, and that 2adbhis ears on the ground. The person responsible for helping him escape his creators and providing targets on earth for Azrael to ply his trade and make so money to survive.

It was one hit after the other to Azrael as he stood there looking at the ssages. The word Deceased stood out to him as he smiled, a single tear drop, probably the only tears he has ever dropped in his life, slid down his cheek as he clenched his fist tightly.

Shadow and darkness spilled out of his body, blasting the buildings on both sides of him to smithereens as a system prompt popped up in front of him.

The pain he has been feeling since he returned back to earth faded as Azrael vanished from that location, leaving destruction behind as the wrath and anger Cole had eaten ca back in full force, the void now birthed in Azrael eating it up as, the thirst for vengeance returned, and this tike he would have it, even if he has to turn the entire earth blood red to do so.
