Chapter 409 409: Military Man III

"My na is High Guild Lord Teron. I serve directly under his majesty King Zilluon Zarian Zorn! First of his na and Guild king of the great city of Te Boreas, Commander in chief of her ard forces and true born king of Te Boreas." Cole could care less about this guys na, in all honesty but he was strong but he was strong and at this point in? ti it would be extrely hypocritical of Cole if he should see the strength of soone else and not be able to appreciate it or at least respect it.

"You have left us in quite a dilemma Mr. Cole. However seeing as you are here and a person of your 'strength' would most definitely not be in an army fighting soone else war. At your stage of power, you would be enjoying a cushy governnt position? or be living your best life. Your strong enough that almost no except the low guild lords would be able to challenge you. So what could have possibly driven you to joining the Militia."

This was a straight forwards conversation, so Cole would be equally straightforward. "Anichs…. I want it, how to make them, and training on how to pilot them." Cole said to him as Guild Lord Teron furrowed his eyebrows, power pulsing off his form as his tone of voice changed.

"That is the most well guarded secret of our kingdom. Why do you want it, and how would being in? the Militia help you get it?" Cole furrowed his eyebrows in annoyance. He was not scared of this guy, as he was slowly beginning to notice, the people on this floor don't raise all of their stats equally, or whatever variation of the system they had did not allow them level all stats equally to advance…..or perhaps it was different.

Either way the bottom line of that was that they could either be really weak or really strong, but only in a particular stat. They were not as strong as Cole expected them to be. But ultimately because he was discovering this did not an he would look down on them. Sotis what anyone really needed was just a single stat at the right rank to decimate everything.

"I was under the impression that after the six months service you could placed into any division you wanted, granted of course you pass the criteria. I was also told that the militia are the ones in control of the Anichs, and that joining you guys and giving the six moths compulsory service and training was all I need to get through the door and get access to the information I want."

"Well I am afraid you have been misguided sir, the craftsman guild are the ones with the blueprints and knowledge required to the rearing of the Anichs. We can get the Anichs from them, heck you can even get a customized one granted you have the right materials available for it. But they would never give the blueprints and every attempt at reverse engineering the Anichs have been all but futile. So the Militia have a standing agreent with the Craftsman guild.

We pay them good money and they make, and sell to us exclusively.? To get an Anich? through a military you would have to have passed an extensive training course that last 2 years, half of which must be spent in service to another Anich pilot as a squire. But you are diamond rank and probably should have a sizable fortune. With the right connections you can get what you want without too much hassle."

"I take it you have those connections." Cole asked as he raised an eyebrow at the magical hologram in front of him.

"As a matter of fact I do, and I can help you get what you want, granted you can do the sa for . I have spoken to so of my associates that have had extensive relations with you aspirants….your na has co up a lot Breaker of Worlds. I hear you are sothing of a bounty hunter for the system and for anyone that can pay the right price. Of course apparently many of your employers end up in the grave and all they own yours so, believe it is taking a lot of good will for to trust you." Cole chuckled.

"What makes you think you would be any different from the rest of them even if I can convince you to trust . I am an agent of chaos Guild Lord. I honor all my deals, but usually that ans a trail of blood and bodies, and that can definitely include yours if you decide to be just like the rest of them." Cole said to him, not even explaining what it was that made all of his previous clients similar.

"Through it all one thing has been synonymous with your na…. and that is you being a man of your word. I will get you an Anich of your own, customized and tailored to your specifications with essences that you provide and I will ensure that you and another person of your choosing, preferably soone who understands the nuances of science and magic, will be present for the birth of your Anich. I will also give you certain level of autonomy under the power of the crown if you choose to do business with us, and not just that, there would be items of monetary and invaluable gains for you."

The commander watched on shocked like a fish that had been dragged out if the water. But through it all there was still one thing that this High Guild Lord has not been able to do yet.

"And what is it that you want from in exchange from all of this generous benefits, I take it is just the bait, or the initial offer for my services. Its quite lucrative, but what do you want in return."

"Oh it's nothing much dear sir, just for you to live up to your na…..and the total destruction and annihilation of the adventurer's guild.": the commander gasped.

"My Gods!"
