The mana around the arrow was so dense the arrow was glowing with blue light. When he released the bow there was a muffled boom.

The rain was pushed aside, the arrow cut through it like a blue streak splitting the rain drops apart.

The wolf’s ears perked, it heard the sound of the sonic boom but it heard it too late as the arrow already pierced through it head and went out the other side.

It didn’t even have a chance to scream before it died, he didn’t stand still and jumped to the next tree.

He jumped from tree to tree, wolves were not climbers so it was unlikely they would search for him in the trees.

The only one that worried him was the scorpion, it defied everything he knew about scorpions.

Fortunately it was large and would probably break the trees of it climbed them. He jumped onto a tree and used it canopy to hide.

40 tres away was another wolf, it was also sniffing the wet ground searching for him but he had mask his scent.

Of course the sll of the flowers had been washed off by the heavy rain and with it his own scent

Finding him will not be easy, he nocked an arrow and pulled his bow. This ti he didn’t put too much mana into it.

He used future sight then released the arrow, the bow string vibrated and the arrow shot out, there was no sonic boom this ti.

However he still used the thicker bow so the speed and power of the arrow was still insanely powerful especially when infused with mana, no matter how little.

The wolf saw it and dodged but it threw itself on the path of another arrow he had shot right after that one.

It pierced through it eye, the wolf cried once then fell down and died. It dying whimper was heard by the closest mber of it pack.

The wolf howled, it howl pierced through the rain reaching the ears of others including the scorpion.

It was not a mber of the wolf pack but as a demon it was very intelligent, it knew that howl ant they found him or he was nearby.

The ground shook as it spear like legs pierced holes on the mud. Akaris heard the howl and ran.

He jumped down to the ground and ran in a certain direction, the wolves were fast, even after infusing his legs with mana he knew he couldn’t outrun them.

After running for a certain distance he jumped into a tree and ran on top of the trees, his scent was washed away by the rain so he hoped this would confuse them.

He changed his direction and ran on top of the trees. He was right to an extent, the wolves followed the tracks until they ended.

They circled the tree in confusion not knowing where he went until their alpha arrived.

The massive wolf sniffed the tree then turned it eyes towards the direction he went on.

It was true that his scent was mostly washed away by the rain but it couldn’t fully erase it, not in such a short ti.

The alpha was stronger than it pack mbers and so was it perception and by extension it senses.

It caught the faint scent in the air and howled. He didn’t know his howl was drawing in another hunter.

Akaris heard the howl and knew imdiately it was the alpha. ’ Shit.’ he jumped onto the tallest tree around.

Took off most of his clothing, tied them around the trees everywhere he went. He went in circles leaving his clothing.

Eventually he was only left with with pants, his upper body was bare. His toned muscles made more appealing by the rain.

He hid on the canopy of the largest tree, he saw the wolves running through the mud, they were fast.

He only blinked once and they had already covered a distance of one hundred tres. They stopped around one of the trees with his shirt.

Hidden by the canopy of the tree they couldn’t see him. He was done being prey, now it was his ti to hunt.

He pulled his bow and aid, he stood patiently like that. Mana enhanced his arms to he wouldn’t get tired easily.

’ This is quite a convenient energy.’ he thought. He infused a little of it to his arrow, the blue mana aura appeared around the bow.

Then he tried sothing else, instead of just the arrow he infused the mana on the bow string as well.

The string looked like it was shining with faint blue light. He could feel it grow stronger yet not harder to pull.

Then he moved the mana from the rest of the arrow to only it tip, he knew with more mana the arrow would beco more penetrative.

So he concentrated the mana on the tip only. With a stronger string, the arrow will retain it speed and it penetrative power.

This new thod was going to save him a lot of mana. His mana pool was not that large to begin with.

He could only use future sight a few tis before running out and he had already used it twice.

He could feel the mana around the string being expended but it was slow, with this thod he bet he could shoot three, maybe four arrows with the sa amount of mana as the one he used on one arrow before.

The wolves caught his scent on multiple directions and spread out which was the best situation for him.

He turned and pointed his arrow at the closest wolf. Before the poor thing could react an arrow pierced through it brain.

He jumped onto the next tree before it body could even hit the mud. The trees were slippery but with mana on his feet he was able to easily stand on them.

After jumping through a few trees he saw another wolf, it was also checking out one of the trees with his clothing.

It saw his shadow on the tree but it was too late. His arrow pierced through it eye, unfortunately it whimpered loudly before it death.

" Shit." He cursed and imdiately ran but it was too late. 30 tres away he saw the alpha growling at him.

With his high spirit he was able to sense mana moving inside it. He imdiately used future sight then jumped back as if falling.

The wolf disappeared.
