Ah San’s face turned cold, but fortunately, there was a doctor skilled in dical skills on board with them, otherwise, Master’s arm would be useless.

The doctor spent two Shichen Chinese Ti pulling out the arrow before bandaging Zhou Shu: "Master, the wound can’t touch water for the ti being."

Zhou Shu looked at the doctor’s and Ah San’s nervous expressions, saying: "It’s not fatal." Injuries worse than this hadn’t killed him before; though this small wound was troubleso, it wasn’t a trendous deal.

The doctor hurriedly left with the dicine box. Ah San stayed by Zhou Shu’s side to accompany him.

Zhou Shu stood on the deck, looking towards the direction of Haikou. Haikou was the starting point of his life and witnessed his success, yet he hadn’t expected it would all be gone now.

Ah San walked out from inside, looked at the sowhat lonely figure, and softly said: "Master, soday, we will return."

Zhou Shu didn’t turn back but kept looking towards Haikou: "Ah San, are you blaming in your heart for ruining the land we’ve conquered because of a woman?"

After pondering for a mont, Ah San said: "Master, let the past be the past! Just live well from now on." Saying he doesn’t resent at all would be false; however, it’s aningless to talk about it since things are already like this.

Zhou Shu didn’t say anything.

A chill ran through Ah San’s heart: "Master, could it be that you haven’t forgotten that woman? Master, that woman is truly a Jinx, Master better not think of her anymore." Ah San was genuinely afraid of Yueyao now. Normally, his master was wise and capable, never suffered any loss, but ever since that woman appeared, their master didn’t seem normal, all rationale was thrown to the winds, or else they wouldn’t have fled Haikou in panic.

Ah San felt Yueyao was very ominous.

A bitter expression appeared on Zhou Shu’s face. Rembering Yueyao’s indifference, disdain, and contempt at that ti, along with his current predicant, even if he didn’t want to let go, what more could he do.

Zhou Shu didn’t regret abducting Yueyao, just sowhat regretted not making the plan more perfect. At that ti, he shouldn’t have kept Yueyao in Haikou, should have hidden her in a remote place, and sent her out of Haikou after the wind passed. However, it’s too late for regrets now, no knowing when they’ll be back again.

Ah San genuinely didn’t understand why his master was so obsessed with Lian Yueyao, but Ah San was perceptive, he knew they wouldn’t return to Haikou for a short ti. By the ti they co back, Lian Yueyao would surely be married with children, at that point, his master should have forgotten.

Ah San couldn’t comprehend nor wanted to continue this topic. Anyway, they had left Haikou, so it was temporarily a closed matter: "Master, how did you know Ah Er betrayed us?"

Zhou Shu showed a trace of mockery: "In that place, besides , only he and Zhao Man knew. I sent Zhao Man to find Boss Hei, he didn’t know where I resided. In the evening when the soldiers arrived, who else could it be but him." Zhao Man knew his hiding place, but if Zhao Man had betrayed, the soldiers should have arrived during the day, not at night. Instead, Ah Er’s n left once in the evening; the ssage was probably leaked out then.

At that ti, he only suspected Ah Er, not fully confird it. Until the fire at midnight made him sure that the one who betrayed was Ah Er. Because he had instructed Zhao Man to blow up the trading house and burn the warehouse, if Zhao Man had betrayed, he surely wouldn’t act according to his instructions. Yet, the trading house and warehouse both caught fire, therefore it must be Ah Er who betrayed.

A thick murderous intent flashed in Ah San’s eyes: "Master, we cannot let him off so easily." The person they despised the most was a traitor, no matter the reason, a traitor should die.

Zhou Shu didn’t respond to this comnt: "Hopefully Zhao Man can co find us smoothly." On their island, not only Zhao Man knew, but even Ah Er knew. Yet, the island was surrounded by reefs, fraught with danger, and being far from Haikou, Zhou Shu had no worries about the Imperial Court sending troops.

Ah San stated confidently: "Master, Lao Liu will certainly be fine." Ah Man ranked sixth; although he had quite a few flaws, his character was straightforward, and he had good rapport with others, but he wasn’t scheming at all. This was why Zhou Shu’s first suspicion was on Ah Er.

Zhou Shu nodded slightly, suddenly said: "From now on, let’s refer to each other as brothers." Ah San was rescued by Zhou Shu more than ten years ago, since then treated Zhou Shu as his master.

Ah San was surprised: "Master, this..."

Zhou Shu stopped Ah San’s next words: "I have never considered you as a servant, always treated you as a brother." Ah San was his most trusted person; otherwise, he wouldn’t have entrusted his wife and children to Ah San to send away.

Ah Er returned to residence, looking at the cold and deserted house, thinking about the wife and daughter taken away by Zhou Shu, felt a piercing pain in his heart. Why were those people so loyal to Zhou Shu? It’s because Zhou Shu took their parents, wives, and children away. He’s now betrayed Zhou Shu, wife and daughter will certainly lose their lives. But thinking of Zhou Shu’s conduct, he quickly fird his resolve. Wife and daughter were gone, but there’s still his son, the family fortune he worked hard for over the years cannot be left without a successor.

This son of Ah Er was born to a concubine. Initially, Ah Er planned to have his wife raise him, but unexpectedly, he was taken by a mysterious person, who used the child to coerce him. At that ti, Ah Er was very disappointed with Zhou Shu’s reckless actions due to his obsession with a woman, and upon hearing the other side say they’ll support him to the top after dealing with Zhou Shu, he hesitated for a mont then eventually agreed.

Ah Er’s original plan was to capture Zhou Shu, but unfortunately, Zhou Shu was already on guard against him, making it impossible for him to escape. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have failed miserably.

Ah Er temporarily wasn’t worried about Zhou Shu coming to seek revenge. With the actions Zhou Shu had done, he certainly wouldn’t return for the next ten years, as for what would happen after ten years, he’d deal with it then.

Unfortunately, Ah Er relaxed too soon. When he returned ho after dining and went to sleep, he suddenly felt a chill at his neck.

Ah Er saw the person opposite, an expression of disbelief appeared: "It’s you." Zhao Man was supposed to be dead, why did he appear before him.

Zhao Man coldly said: "Traitor, die." Their lives were all given by the Master; those who dared to betray Master had only one outco, death.

Zhao Man killed Ah Er and just as he was about to leave, nurous soldiers suddenly erged. Zhao Man knew his fate was also sealed.
