Marquis Luyang’s residence sent the betrothal gifts as scheduled, thus firmly securing the marriage arrangent. The wedding date was set for the end of the following year. This was mainly because Tingyi had not yet been engaged; it was not proper for the sister to marry before the brother had wed.
