After thinking it over, Lady Mo said, “The Third Young Lady has changed so much; haven’t you noticed anything odd about her?” Lady Mo always found Yueyao’s behavior very strange. Yueyao now seed like a completely different person compared to when she had first returned. Nanny Gu had long felt that sothing was off about Yueyao, but these were only her feelings without any concrete evidence, so she now dared not say much.
Lady Mo, losing patience, said, “Nanny Hua, direct the accounting room to give ten taels of silver to Nanny Gu!” This was a clear sign that she was being dismissed.

Xiang Wei chuckled lightly, “Let’s not talk about people. Take these plants, for example; if planted too densely, they still compete for nutrients. Nanny Gu waited in the living room for Yueyao for quite so ti but did not see her. The maids were also very neglectful; they didn’t even offer her a cup of tea, leaving Nanny Gu so thirsty her throat was smoking.
