At noon, Yueyao gave birth.

Yueyao’s delivery went very smoothly. She gave birth to the first child, and soon after, the second one. Just as the Imperial Physician had predicted, both were sons.

An Zhichen looked at his two freshly born sons and muttered to himself: "Why are they so ugly?" When Kexin was born, she was fair and tender, but these two sons had wrinkled skin, resembling little old n.

Zhuang Ruolan laughed and said: "Newborns are all like this; Kexin was an exception." Although there are newborns like Kexin, they are rare.

An Zhichen was about to speak when he heard Yueyao let out a particularly miserable scream, making his hand pause, recalling many won who suffered postpartum hemorrhage, and his face turned pale.

Zhuang Ruolan was startled too, but seeing An Zhichen’s expression, she quickly reassured him: "Don’t worry, it’s a normal delivery; there won’t be any issues." Postpartum hemorrhage usually occurs with difficult births. Yueyao gave birth in just over six Shichen from onset, which is definitely a normal delivery, and it shouldn’t lead to a hemorrhage.

A maid ca out with a basin of bloody water, saying to An Zhichen: "Old Master, the midwife says Madam still has one more in her belly."

An Zhichen was stunned upon hearing this.

Zhuang Ruolan was dumbfounded: "Didn’t the Imperial Physician say there were only two? How can there be three?" It’s not that the Imperial Physician’s dical skills were inaccurate; it’s just that the probability of triplets is extrely rare! At least in the Capital City, it’s been decades since anyone heard of it.

The birth of the third child also went smoothly. After Yueyao finished giving birth, she was exhausted and soon fell asleep.

Mingzhu cradled the child and said with a laugh: "No wonder your belly was so big—it turns out you gave birth to three." She had been curious why Yueyao’s belly was much larger than hers back then.

An Zhichen held his third son, still in a state of shock. The two sons were expected; despite being joyful, at least there was ntal preparation. This third one was a complete surprise.

The midwife’s face was full of smiles. Giving birth to three sons in one go, can there be anything bigger for this couple? Surely the reward this ti will be substantial.

An Zhichen regained his composure and rewarded the midwife with fifty taels of silver and gave all the maids and old nannies three months’ worth of monthly salary.

On the day Kexin was born, she was fair and chubby. Now, all three sons are wrinkled, especially the youngest, who is only the size of a palm. An Zhichen looked at them and beca concerned, quickly inviting Imperial Doctor Lu, who specializes in pediatrics, to co and check their pulse.

When Imperial Doctor Lu arrived at the An Mansion, though he was knowledgeable, he was stunned to see three tiny babies: "This..."

An Zhichen’s pride was plain to see; anyone who suddenly had three legitimate sons would be proud: "My three sons are too weak, and I’m worried. Please, Lord Lu, have a look."

Lord Lu quickly composed himself and carefully checked the pulse of each child, one by one, then smiled at An Zhichen and said: "Rest assured, Lord An; although the children look small, they have a good foundation." Having three children in one birth naturally ans they won’t be large, but the rare thing is, all three have a good foundation with no congenital issues. With proper care, in less than a month, they will surely be fair and chubby.

An Zhichen finally felt relief in his heart after hearing Imperial Doctor Lu’s words.

Yuebing, upon hearing the news, couldn’t believe it: "Really gave birth to three?" She was already very happy with just one child; with three, she couldn’t help but laugh.

Only when the An Mansion sent the news did Yuebing confirm it was true, and she said to Nanny Cui: "Nanny, how co Third Sister is so blessed?" Suddenly giving birth to three sons, An Zhichen might just worship her.

Nanny Cui was also amazed: "The old nanny who brought the happy news said the Third Young Lady gave birth in six Shichen. She didn’t suffer during delivery; how did the Third Young Lady manage that?" Not to ntion three, many won have difficult births with just one. Nanny Cui thought Yueyao must have so secret thod; otherwise, childbirth wouldn’t be so easy.

Yuebing shook her head and said: "There’s no secret thod; it’s probably because Third Sister has practiced martial arts for many years and is strong, so she didn’t suffer during childbirth." Yuebing knew well that Yueyao practiced martial arts every morning and evening for over a decade.

Nanny Cui thought it made sense. But learning martial arts isn’t easy, and even if she learned, her family’s Madam couldn’t possibly be like the Third Young Lady, practicing every day.
