"So, Jin. Did you manage to break the encryption on that laptop?" Angela had ordered them so food from a fast food spot, giving Jin his plate.
"Yeah. I learned so interesting yet confusing things." Jin opened his plate and saw it was filled with fried rice, noodles, and orange chicken.
Angela smirked, knowing that he loved that al and got a kiss on the lips from him as a thanks.
"What were the things you learned?" Addison asked, slurping her noodles.
"So, unfortunately, I didn’t learn anything about Project Oga."
"Bumr." Angela dug into her food.
"Agreed. I also didn’t really learn what the cult plans on doing with the Permanent...I’m just going to call it a DNA splicer. I didn’t learn what they plan on doing with that either."
"Wouldn’t it be to splice DNA?" Addison asked. It was pretty clear from the na of the device.
"Yeah, you see, that’s the obvious thing they would do with it, but the thing is, what type of DNA will they splice? First of all, DNA splicing is not only extrely dangerous but extrely hard to do, even with all of the proper tools. And it’s already been publicly tested that you can’t splice a woman’s power gene. So they are using it for sothing else."
"Ooo! I got one!" Angela swallowed her food. "What if they’re making a giant ass space laser that can zap the powers of any female away from them at any ti?!"
Jin looked at her with a tearful expression. He didn’t expect her to be so...smart.
"What? Why are you looking at as if I’m an idiot who made an actually smart assumption?"
Addison cheesed, and Jin smiled while looking away.
"Real funny, you two." She froze both of their als.
"Don’t be petty, Angie, we’re just fooling around." Addison waved her hand, and her al was heated back up again.
"Honestly speaking, Angela, I had the sa thoughts as you. I was wondering what they would use it for. A super weapon? Maybe a depowering missile? But then, a satellite ca to my mind." Jin also defrosted his al using fire magic and heated it back up.
"So what about the phoenix? It’s clear that they wanted the core for one of their plans, right?" Addison asked
"That’s the part where things get weirder. There was nothing, and I an NOTHING, on the phoenix besides how to breed one and how to safely remove its heart, or core, whatever."
"Odd."
"Right! Now, I get that they probably didn’t want to put all of their information in sowhat public files, but still, nothing? At least the files with the DNA splicer had a whole plan on how to get it and shit."
Jin went to take another bite out of his al when he felt a foot touch his dick. He looked up, expecting Angela to be smirking at him, but instead, she was scarfing down food like a hungry wolf.
Addison, on the other hand, was smiling at Jin as his foot moved along his crotch.
"So, is there anything else you wish to tell us about?" Addison’s tone was softer, sexier, and slightly flirtatious.
"Are you having fun?"
"I am."
He rolled his eyes but didn’t stop her. He wasn’t going to act like that shit wasn’t feeling good.
"Yeah. They plan on stealing the endockeleton from Carlnitus’s presentation, which is happening a month from now. He’s a famous engineer and scientist. Specializes in robotics and anatomy."
"Oh, I heard about him before. Carlnitus Industries. He’s one of my mother’s friends." Being a super-rich kid, Addison was familiar with a lot of the wealthy people in the country. It wasn’t surprising that she knew who he was.
"Who?" Angela asked
Jin explained to her who he was and his importance to the Sons of Adam, or at least what Jin assud his importance would be.
"I see. This is so serious stuff."
"Yeah, it is. I just don’t know how it all cos together. There has to be a way to piece the puzzle together, but I just can’t figure out how. It’s eating up."
Addison stood up and rubbed Jin’s back. She liked his hard-working look and thought it was extrely cute.
"Why don’t you think about it after a good night’s rest?"
"Alright."
Before Addison could act, Angela grabbed him and dragged him into the room, dressing him down for sleep, pushed him onto the bed, and held him in her arms with his face in her chest.
"Haha! Gotta be faster than that, fire bitch!"
"You motherfucker!"

The Golden Boar was an extrely fancy restaurant ant for people with money to attend. If you weren’t wealthy, you would have to save for months just to eat at this place, and you would need to place a reservation months in advance.
Luckily for Jin, two of his friends were a part of so of the wealthiest families in the country. Even without him, Anyssa was well off and could afford this place, so he wasn’t that worried about eating there.
"Are you sure about this?" Addison asked, sitting across from Jin as they sat down at the restaurant.
"According to that woman at the breeding camp, this ’Speaker’ guy frequents this spot. But that’s not all. I read in the files that there was a eting going on in this place that’s taking place ten minutes from now."
"What if this is a trap? Don’t you think we should have at least inford the Aegis Corps about this?" Addison wasn’t worried about herself, per se, but about Jin. She didn’t want him to get hurt or captured and would have felt better if they had so eyes and ears around the place.
"We’ll be fine. Just act natural, like we’re a couple." He smiled. "And be touchy."
"How touchy?"
"Don’t put your foot on my dick."
"Tsk." She leaned back in her chair.
For the next seven minutes, Addison and Jin made small talk, slightly scanning the area to see if anyone suspicious would walk in.
But in case they weren’t able to visually put together who the person they were looking for was, Jin had already spread his mana around the restaurant, connecting it to his technology, and had an earpiece to listen in on conversations with Addison.
"How’s everything going with Project Oga?" A man asked
Addison and Jin turned to each other with wide eyes, then listened in closely.
