Fireballs rained on Carly’s body, and a magnetic shield was erected around her to prevent them from causing any injuries. She stuck out her hand, and a large truck started flying toward Jin from behind.

Without even looking, he sliced the truck in half, grabbed one half of it, while the other half crashed into a yard, and slamd it on Carly.

"Out of breath? You haven’t been in the action for over 9 years, if I rember correctly." Jin mocked her.

"I have more than enough juice to deal with the likes of you." The truck was dismantled, and Carly used all of the parts as projectiles, firing them all at Jin.

"Don’t tell that this is all you can do?" He swatted them away, walking over to her as if he were walking through rain and not car parts.

She eyed the ground, and Jin’s body froze.

Jin looked down. "Heh, magnetizing to the ground, huh? Smart." When he looked back up. Carly ran her fist into his face, the powerful punch knocking his body backward.

But Jin’s body only leaned back with the flow of his legs. He wasn’t moved from the spot at all.

A smirk appeared on his face, and when he looked at Carly, she instinctively blocked, feeling his powerful fist crash into her arms, nearly breaking them as she was flung into the sky like a rag doll.

He flew above her, double-hand punching her back down to the ground. Before she landed, he flew below her, kicking her into the sky once more.

He continued this ga of single-player tennis before Carly had had enough and pulled his body toward him so she could give him a devastating punch as well.

But instead of being taken aback, Jin welcod the challenge, and the two of them ended up punching each other instead.

Of course, Jin wasn’t injured in the slightest, and he was actually going easy on her just to make her lose hope by the second.

"You sick bastard. This is why n should have powers!" She clasped her hands together, and the magnetic field around Jin started to beco dizzy.

He staggered, allowing Carly to lift him up in the air with her magnetokinesis and throw him far away.

"I need to get my son out of here." The mont she started to fly back to her house, a powerful lightning bolt struck her back, burning it, and she crashed into the roof of her house.

"Did you seriously think that fucking with my body’s magnetic field would do the trick?" Jin asked, hovering over the house, looking down from the hole Carly had created.

"M-Mom?"

"Ryan, get out of here!" Carly shouted.

"Nah, he can stay." Mana from Jin’s hand wrapped around Ryan, but Carly forced Jin’s mana to disconnect from his body for a split second.

"I don’t know what power you’re using, but I can feel it rippling through the air. Don’t think that I can’t counter it."

Jin smiled. "It’s only natural that you can. Abilities that use natural forces, such as yours, can interact with mana after all."

"Mana? You’re a part of Edens Garden?"

"No. They’re on my list to exterminate as well. Now, let’s try sothing fun for a second." He pald the air, blasting Carly out of the house, then nearly grabbed Ryan by the throat, but Carly pulled him with her.

"Hahaha! You realize that I’m allowing you to do this, right?!" Jin shouted, smiling as he was pulled toward Carly,

"I won’t let you hurt my son!"

"Aw, how cute." His eyes glowed red, and two powerful energy beams blasted from them, forcing Carly to block them.

Her magnetic shield started to crack, and once it shattered, Jin slamd his leg on her knee, breaking it, uppercutted her, then grabbed her neck and slamd her into the ground.

"Arghhhh!!"

"Shut up." Gripping her cheek, he threw her back into her house, crashing right next to her son.

"Mother and son together, isn’t that ironic?" Jin’s voice was like venom dripping from a snake.

"Stop!" Ryan shouted, stepping in front of his mother.

"Ryan! Move out of the way! Nngh!" Carly could barely stand, and she attempted to push her son out of the way.

"You should listen to mommy." Jin smiled. "It might save your life."

"Whatever grudge you have with my mother doesn’t have to end with her death! Stop this! I already called my sister!" He warned.

"Really? Roselyn? I just beat her ass a few days ago."

"Lies. My sister is strong!"

Jin nodded. "I agree. But not stronger than ." His hand pulsed with red mana, his eyes glowing the sa color.

When he was about to aim his hand toward Ryan, Roselyn arrived instantly and went to attack Jin, but he could sense her arrival and already had his other hand out to blast her away, which he did.

"Arghh!"

"Look at that." He chuckled.

"Jin, stop it!" Carly demanded him. "Do you know what will happen if you kill , if you kill my son?!"

Roselyn appeared once more and stood close to her family. "You’d better hope nothing else happens or I swear I’ll do everything in my power to kill your bitch ass."

"You know, after living so long, I thought I had developed an indifference between the living and the dead. But ti and ti again, I have been softened by familial love. You see, I was an orphan in my first ever life, and that really stuck with ; it’s a part of my soul."

The Myer family had no idea what he was talking about, but they prepared to attack him.

"I’d do anything for my family, and I an anything. So, to beco an orphan once more just reminded of those horrible days I had suffered when I was powerless. Now that I do have power, do you seriously think I wouldn’t avenge the death of my parents?"

His mana erupted from his body, putting a massive amount of pressure on the three of them. It was so intense that they couldn’t move one bit.

"Anyone, and I an ANYONE, who crosses the wrong line with , will die." A long blade of mana extended from his hand, piercing right through Ryan’s heart and stabbing Carly in her heart as well.

"N-Nooooooooooooo!!" In her fit of rage and adrenaline, Roselyn managed to overco Jin’s mana pressure and attack him, tearing space apart around them.

But this was nothing but child’s play to him.

His hand tore through space, shattering it, and grabbed her throat.

"I-I’ll kill you for this!" Roselyn shouted, struggling to speak.

"No, you’ll die for being a part of this." He flooded her body with mana, causing it to erupt, killing her.

He looked down at Carly, who was barely alive, struggling to breathe.

"Ally has a few words for you. She told to say, ’Like a bitch.’ when you died. Heh, fitting words." His index and middle fingers started glowing.

"I hope you rot in the afterlife," Jin growled.

"N-No—" Mana rained down on Carly like missiles, destroying her body until there was nothing left.
