Chapter 879: Sept’s Plan To Return
Sept had t his uncle soon after the plague had been eradicated and the routes between the borders of the fiefs were reopened for travel.
That was almost over seven months ago and thus he had already been here for much longer than he had expected before he began his journey to Rosenhyde.
Sept had assud that his days here would be uneventful but that was not so.
He had t a few interesting individuals and even that girl who surprisingly had the blessing of a God over her.
Not many were aware of it but Sept’s powers allowed him to view what others never could.
This was the reason why he had been so interested in Demon from the very first ti he had seen him.
However, once he realized what that aura around the pair of etcher and etched was, he had stopped heading over to their mansion to disturb them at every chance that he found since he had already quenched his curiosity.
.....
During that ti, sparring with Howard was an excellent excuse as that other boy seed to be obsessed with beating him but he sadly never could until the very end.
Though he had to admit that his competitive spirit had been awakened thanks to his matches with Howard who always did his best in every fight.
Those days soon ca to an end as the boys he had made friends with had left for the Academy so he found no reason to return to the St. Claire mansion.
To his surprise, when Howard and Taylor returned from the Academy months later, they reached out to him and the three had a fun day together.
While he was upset about the death of his mother which by no ans was of natural causes, he had to admit that his attention had been diverted from that grief thanks to these people.
His uncle had also been considerate, a little too considerate, towards him while they spent their days together in this mansion.
Therefore, now that he had heard word from his Father that his days in Rosenhyde were nearing their end, he chose to discuss it with his uncle.
Since he would soon return to where his true ho was, he had decided that he had enough fun and it was ti to get back to how his life had been in the past.
When Sevenz heard this news, his entire deanor changed and the earlier dramatic appearance faded away while a stiff expression took form on his face.
“When do you have to leave?” He questioned his nephew regarding his approximate date of return.
Though it would not take too long to travel from Rosenhyde to their motherland, certain preparations needed to be made before this journey could begin.
Therefore, it was impossible for Sept to set out right away.
“A month at most.” The boy’s answer corroborated with the estimation the young man had just made.
Until his father sent him the next ssage with a positive reply and further information about his travel itinerary, he would have to continue staying here.
However, due to his presence, his uncle had not gone out and had been unable to focus on his business.
His subordinates were doing all the work for him while he stayed at ho to spend ti with the young boy.
Therefore, knowing that he would have to leave soon, Sept did not want his uncle to continue wasting his ti at ho which he could have used to expand his business.
He had heard from his mother that Uncle Sevenz loved to travel and after separating himself from their family, he had gone all around the world looking for precious items that caught his eye.
He had a knack for business and hence had been able to lead his maternal family’s small caravan and had turned it into a fad traveling rchant group that was now highly sought after.
Thanks to this information, he was sure that keeping his uncle at ho would be disadvantageous to the business that he had worked hard to build.
Since he was a boy of few words and treated them preciously, he wasn’t able to express his true intentions to the best of his ability.
“You should focus on your work.” He muttered, encapsulating his thoughts into that short sentence.
Fortunately, Sevenz was able to comprehend what Sept wished to say as he had lived with the boy’s father, who had a similar personality, throughout his growing years.
However, he was sure that the boy’s thoughtfulness wasn’t sothing that was inherited from his elder brother and this made him smile at the young boy.
“You don’t have to worry about that. Uncle is making a lot of money even while sitting at ho.” He grinned proudly at the thought of the profits he had been amassing though he lazed around at ho, pestering Sept most of the ti.
A portion of the credit for this achievent went to his business partner whose products sold out like hot cakes on a cold winter morning.
More Fief Lords had approached his trusted subordinates to sign contracts with CLOVER which in turn had increased the profit percentage he gained by supplying the products to their fiefs.
His other businesses were also profitable, to begin with, and ever since he had settled in the Capital, more important noblen had approached him.
Though they could only et his Butler who was also his right-hand man, this did not deter them from purchasing items of high value from his caravans.
Ever since he had joined hands with CLOVER and began raking in massive amounts of money, it was safe to say that his caravan’s credibility had increased as well.
Earlier, only a few higher noble families were able to purchase their goods but now, even the commoners were loyal custors of their caravan.
They not just purchased CLOVER’s soaps from them but also other goods that were sold alongside their main attraction.
Due to these reasons, there wasn’t any particular need for him to travel right at this mont.
Though he liked to move to different places in search of the next best thing that would beco a coveted item among the nobles, he was able to afford the luxury of staying behind with his nephew and spending their remaining ti together.
Thinking of certain matters connected to Sept’s father and their ho, Sevenz’s smile from earlier faded slightly.
“You need to be careful once you get back.” He reminded the boy about the necessity to be watchful at all tis.
He had long known that there was sothing suspicious about his sister-in-law’s death but this information was still a secret from many others.
Only those very close to the couple were aware of this news and this included the young boy who had spent the majority of his life by his mother’s side.
One of the reasons why his elder brother had sent Sept here was because he worried for the boy’s safety as well.
Therefore, while waiting for things to cool down in that place, he had sent his son away by using the excuse of giving him a change of pace to overco the sadness of losing his mother at such a young age.
Having lived in that place all his life, Sept was aware of the reason why his uncle was worried about his safety so he nodded his head with a stern look in his eyes.
A venomous glint of hatred flashed across those soft pink eyes which greatly contrasted the indifferent expression that he usually maintained.
Sevenz was quick to observe the shift in his deanor but could only sigh when he thought of the situation back in that place he once called ho.
His paternal side of the family was far from the loving ho that a young child wished for.
Each day there was nothing short of a dangerous ga of life and death where he needed to watch his every move and be vigilant of everyone he ca across.
Unwilling to surround himself with such people where he often found himself in perilous situations, he had given everything up and severed ties with most of them.
However, not everyone was as lucky as him to get out of that place unhard.
Especially Sept’s father, who as the eldest son, had no choice but to take on the role of the next head of their family.
This had led his son to also be involved in the ssy politics that ruled their family, destroying all familial love that could have existed within it.
Therefore, while Sevenz disliked his father’s side of the family and stayed away from them as much as he could, he still wished for Sept to be safe once he returned to that dangerous place.
“Contact if you ever need any help.” He offered but hoped that Sept would be kept safe and thus never would find the need to utilize this offer.
Sept had heard a lot about this uncle of his who had left ho to run a rchant group that belonged to his mother’s family.
He did not have high expectations from this man when he first heard that he would be sent here because the two had only brief and distanced interactions with each other when he was younger.
However, having stayed with him for so long, Sept had co to like him a fair bit.
Therefore, hearing those words of concern and noticing the helping hand being stretched towards him, his heart which had been filled with hatred earlier began to soften.
