Yvonne had been wanting to avoid eting the mbers of the Rosenhyde Royal family but after the plague, she had already been inside the Palace twice.
This would be her third ti but she had not prepared her heart for this event in the least bit.
She was worried that there would be other people she would et along the way but thankfully, she had co across no one other than just the Princess.
Prince Fritzen was away at the Royal Academy like the rest of the boys while the Older Prince was not soone who many could et anyway.
Finally, the King and Queen were also too busy that day so the three girls had headed straight to the Rose Palace without encountering anyone else along the way.
Princess Felicia had already been inford about their arrival so it appeared that only Yvonne was kept in the dark until they entered the Palace grounds.
As annoyed as she had been, she could only use her parents as an excuse, stating that they must be worried when they would realize that she was not in the Brodie family's estate where she was supposed to be.
However, Miss Glennise revealed that she had already sent word through a servant that there had been a change in their plans and the girls would return from the Palace only in the evening.
Hearing this was enough to cause Yvonne's shoulders to slump in defeat as there was no longer any way out for her.
Thus this girl had spent the entire day at the Rose Palace, helping the other three girls with their assignnts just as she had promised to do in the past.
On that day, Yvonne learned that the Princess had noticed her aversion to strawberry juice on the day when they had gathered at the greenhouse for a tea party, the very first ti she had entered the Palace.
All along, the little girl was under the belief that she had not attracted the attention of those around her on that day but soon realized that she had thought wrong.
Princess Felicia disclosed that since Miss Yvonne disliked strawberry juice and felt unwell even at the sight of it, they would refrain from drinking the sa in her presence.
Rika and Glennise were astonished to hear this but did not object, displaying a willingness to follow the Princess's considerate actions.
Yvonne, on the other hand, was stupefied when she discovered that Princess Felicia seed to know more about her than she had expected.
While this was the second surprise of the day after the sudden trip they had made to the Palace, there was one more that was on the way.
After Yvonne had lunch with the Princess and her playmates on that day, a special guest was brought into the room where they had been studying in the Rose Palace.
The girls rushed to et this guest but Yvonne, whose first ti witnessing this sight was a step too late.
When she moved closer towards the three girls who were a year older than her, she found them surrounding the maid in whose hands was a fluffy pillow.
Laid languidly on that pillow was the feline guest who had co to greet the Princess, its master.
Pure white and fluffy fur surrounded its entire body, making it look huger than it truly was.
However, the absolutely stunning cat she had t for the very first ti today wasn't the surprise but the voice that had spoken in her head.
{Master, why is there another beast next to you?}
Her etcher, Demon's aggrieved and jealous voice echoed in her head, causing her to freeze for a split second.
Demon knew the difference between any ordinary animal and an etcher, whom most people referred to as a beast.
Therefore when she noticed the na he had used earlier, she caught the aning hidden in his words before staring at the lazy cat who was now in the Princess's arms.
The cat who was introduced as Iris opened its ocean blue eyes and glanced at Yvonne as though it had sensed soone staring at it.
However, Iris did not maintain eye contact for too long as it went back to laying on the Princess's lap, shutting its eyes once again.
{Are you sure?}
Yvonne wished to make sure that Demon had not sensed so other etcher in this Palace.
After all, too many talented guards were everywhere and one of their etchers must have triggered Demon's territorial nature.
However, her Demon insisted that the aura was right next to Yvonne and though it was mild, he was sure that the creature close to her was a beast with higher intelligence and also possessed an etcher's inherent aura.
This was the final surprise that she had received on the day she helped the Princess and her playmates with their assignnts.
For the rest of the ti she spent in the Rose Palace, Yvonne found her gaze landing on the cat from ti to ti.
Though the white cat never did anything that would prove what Demon had said, Yvonne did not wish to miss the chance of figuring this mystery out.
However, during her investigations on that day, she had sohow caused the Princess to panic.
Her constant gaze on Iris made Princess Felicia suspect that Miss Yvonne was interested in the adorable cat she owned which led her to reveal that she loved the cat and would not part with it for the world.
Yvonne, embarrassed by this touching speech, replied that she was only fascinated by how beautiful it was and would never dare to take away sothing that the Princess cherished.
Though her words relieved the Princess's anxiety, she sent the cat away with the maid who had brought it earlier.
Thanks to this awkward experience, Yvonne realized that Sept must have felt the sa way when she had doubted his intentions every ti he gawked at Demon upon entering their St. Claire estate.
However, soon another thought popped up in her mind, making her wonder what he must have seen in Demon which was making him act in that way.
After all, he had behaved in the sa way she had done towards the Princess's pet after learning sothing about it from Demon.
Unfortunately, Sept had never entered the St. Claire estate after Howard had joined the Academy which gave her no chance of figuring this other mystery out.
Yvonne did not have ti to mull over the reason for his sudden disappearance after constant visits to her estate as she was still in the Palace.
No one seed to have noticed her deep thoughts and the Princess, after sending her pet away, brought out the books so that they might concentrate once again.
The four girls, under the observation of Governess Bloom, studied together and before it was the ti for evening tea, had managed to complete their assignnts using each others' support.
Rika almost shed tears on that day, glad to have finished her tasks before promising to buy gifts for the other girls with her allowance.
Though Princess Felicia and the two others refused, Rika insisted and stated that she would do it regardless of what they said.
Other than the few surprises, Yvonne could not deny that she had a good day at the Palace with these three girls.
However, when it was ti for them to leave, she wasn't as sentintal as the rest and quickly got into the carriage while the other three were still bidding each other goodbye.
This act of hers was shocking to the three girls but considering how they had kept her in the dark about today's plans, they turned a blind eye to her eagerness for leaving the Palace.
Glennise and Rika soon boarded the carriage and it was around four in the evening when Yvonne finally returned ho.
As soon as she alighted from the carriage of the Brodie family which had co to drop her, she did not enter the mansion but rushed in a different direction.
Yvonne was the last to be dropped so no one noticed this strange action of hers as Rika and Glennise had reached their hos before her.
Jax had been waiting for his Boss but seeing her striding towards the side of the mansion instead of entering it, he rushed to follow her.
