Chapter 769 - eting The Newcors
Everyone was surprised to see Lyon Jorbin apologizing imdiately which made them have a good impression of him.
They thought that he would make a fuss about bowing down to a girl but he had done so without displaying any hesitation and this only added to their good impression of him.
They felt that the son took after the father and thus believed that his good qualities were passed down to him by his father, the Marquess.
On the contrary, when the adults in the vicinity saw the triplets joining that group of children, they frowned at the sarcastic tone one of them used.
'Is that how their mother taught them?' So of the ladies shook their heads in disappointnt.
A young girl from a noble family should be demure, obedient, and polite.
While those three girls were extrely beautiful to look at, it now seed that their beauty was limited only to outward appearance.
These were the kind of thoughts that so of the noble ladies seed to be having after they witnessed this incident.
Among those, Lady Yona and Lady Leopold felt this way while Lady Carter's soft frown indicated that she too shared similar opinions as the others present here.
Yvonne's attention was now on the three girls and hence had failed to catch the reproachful glances these ladies were shooting at them.
"Pleased to et you, Miss St. Claire." Three voices echoed in unison, successfully sending shivers down the young girl's spine.
The one who had been greeted was trying hard not to grimace at the sight of three similar-looking faces who were even blinking at the sa ti as they smiled at her.
There was always sothing about twins or triplets that had not sat right with her, especially if they imitated each other, speaking perfectly in sync with one another.
The Valente twins dressed differently and had distinct ways of expressing themselves which helped Yvonne to be at ease around them but the sa could not be said about the three girls she had t just now.
Their appearance caused a certain scene from a movie she had watched in the past to resurface in her mind, making her wonder if the triplets would repeat the iconic dialog said by another pair of twins that resided in a large haunted hotel.
{Co play with us…}
She shivered when she thought of the Jorbin triplets reenacting that iconic yet terrifying scene.
Those around her could not decipher the cause of the dazed expression she had on her face and even the triplets were looking right at her, wondering if everything was alright.
Shaking those thoughts away from her mind, Yvonne smiled back at them before greeting the girls who were around two years older than her.
Lyon had spent the entire year with his sisters so he did not pay any attention to them but chose to converse with his idol, Howard St. Claire.
anwhile, the triplets stepped closer to Yvonne, intending to get to know her better.
"Our brother would not stop talking about your brother." One of them revealed in an exasperated tone.
It would be an understatent to say that Lyon admired Howard as he would often boast about how talented the older boy was or how much he wanted to be just like him.
The three sisters had to endure his constant chatter about things they weren't interested in for so many months that it made them a little bitter about it.
Yvonne felt a lot better when they weren't speaking at the sa ti and nodded in understanding of what they must have gone through.
After all, wasn't Howard the sa way when he spoke about his sword training or his idol?
Therefore, the triplets chuckled when they found sothing common between them.
Lyon and Howard grunted in displeasure when they heard their conversation but did not interrupt them.
On the other hand, Taylor was more than happy to chi in, narrating the nurous tis when he had suffered through the sa experience as the girls.
His exaggerated sighs only lightened the environnt which worked wonders in bringing the children closer to each other.
Yvonne did not find anything wrong with the three girls as they did not look at her through colored lenses so she obviously would do the sa to them as well.
She did not think that having a mother who was from a different Kingdom was such a bad thing and thus behaved with them as she would to any other person here.
Most of the girls did not mind mingling with each other but were often influenced by the adults around them.
Now seeing that Yvonne, Taylor, and the others around them were freely speaking to the children of the Jorbin family, they too wished to do the sa.
Isadora was one of the girls who went forward to interact with the triplets who welcod her without any reluctance.
However, Cecily chose to maintain her distance after simply greeting them but they did not mind as they weren't close to her anyway.
When Silvia left her brother's side to join this group, Robin could only grumble inwardly as he took care of his baby brother while their sister enjoyed her ti with her friends.
The adults who were sneaking peeks at this area were surprised to see the pleasant atmosphere that was now present.
Lady Yona's frown remained but she could not find any fault in the attitude of the Jorbin girls any longer so she could only purse her lips without uttering another word against them.
A few minutes later, Aleena and Rika had returned, and with them ca Miss Glennise Brodie, Mae Blaise, and also the two older girls from the Carter family.
Thus right now, excluding only a few of the older boys, the rest of the children had all gathered together in this place.
Duke Brodie had often asked his daughter to get closer to the Jorbin children so she did as she had been told and initiated a conversation with them.
Her arrival caused Howard and Taylor's vigilance to heighten and even Yvonne chose to take a step back from their discussion.
Since most girls here knew why she had done so, they did not pay too much attention to it.
Yvonne wasn't afraid of offending Glennise, instead, she was unwilling to interact with her as that would make them familiar with each other.
After the dream that she had seen about Glennise, she was still not sure what she could do to help her, that is if she wanted to do so.
Therefore, for now, Yvonne thought that it would be best if she could limit her exposure to the other person.
To achieve this, she decided that it was best to move to another place and with that plan in mind, she glanced at the boy who was now next to her.
"Brother Taylor, shall we go to greet the Duchess?" She questioned and the answer was an eager yes.
"You can stay here and have fun while I take Vonny to my mother." He declared, his gloating look apparent for everyone to discern as he smirked at Howard.
Before his best friend could utter a single word in reply, he hurriedly gestured to his sworn sister to co along and the two left the group in no ti.
Silvia's eyes followed them but Yvonne had sensed her eagerness to mingle with Glennise and the other girls too so she had not asked her to co along.
This action pleased Robin who, for so reason, did not like the daughter of the St. Claire family from the very first ti they t.
Just as Yvonne and Taylor were leaving, the little girl caught the sight of Elna Leopold joining the group from the corner of her eyes.
This made her wish Aleena good luck in her mind and continued moving in the direction her Brother Taylor was leading her.

Duchess Tanner was ecstatic to see Yvonne coming over to greet her.
She nodded in satisfaction, pleased with her son who had brought her over before introducing the children to the new lady standing here.
"Marchioness Jorbin, you already know my son, Taylor." She smiled in pride when he greeted the lady at the end of her sentence before turning her gaze towards the girl standing next to him.
"And this lovely young girl is Miss Yvonne from the St. Claire family." She continued with the sa smile present on her face.
When Yvonne's eyes t the foreigner lady's gaze, she perford the perfect curtsy before smiling at her.
"Greetings, Marchioness." She uttered as she rose to stand upright once again.
"Ah, I have heard a lot about you, Young Miss." A gentle voice that held a slight hint of power reached Yvonne's ears.
Unlike in the past when she had heard this sa sentence, there was no hidden aning, no cynicism or derisive tone in her words.
There was pure fascination and even admiration evident to the child who was surprised to hear this coming from the lady she had t for the very first ti today.
'From all the ladies who t after hearing the news being circulated about , she was the first who did not have any hostility.' She realized which imdiately made her like Marchioness Jorbin a little better than the other ladies whom she had t during these parties.
Despite being from a different Kingdom, Marchioness Jorbin had no problem in accepting that a girl her age was capable of achieving sothing but the ladies of the Rosenhyde Kingdom failed to acknowledge the sa.
This made Yvonne have a favorable opinion about the lady who also seed to have a similar opinion about her.
