65: Chapter 65: High Fever 3

“Ding!

The host has successfully elevated to Level 2, you’re awarded an Upgrade Gift Package!”

“Ding!

Successfully spent 100 Exchange Points to purchase healing pills, current Exchange Points: 1124.”

In a daze, Su Tang felt a warm stream sliding down her esophagus into her stomach.

Her eyes felt like they were glued shut by 520 adhesive, no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t open them.

Soon, Su Tang’s consciousness plunged into darkness once more!

She had no idea how much ti had passed.

Su Tang felt incredibly uncomfortable as her stomach seed empty and hollow!

With great effort, she opened her eyes and found herself back inside Gaiyin’s cave!

Gaiyin’s cave?

Hadn’t she been taken first by a large bird, then chased by a group of Beastn, only to finally faint?

Su Tang’s mind was a ss.

She was terrified and desperate to see Gaiyin!

Her body was limp and strengthless, and she felt exceptionally thirsty!

Her gaze was drawn to a clay pot near the cave’s entrance.

She gulped quietly, and she used all her strength to move towards it, supporting herself on her stone bed!

It was truly a case of the spirit being willing but the flesh weak!

“Su…

you awake?”

Gaiyin’s voice echoed from the cave entrance, and he appeared beside the stone bed within a second, half-embracing Su Tang.

Seeing the familiar face, hearing the familiar voice.

Su Tang found it hard to believe!

She stared blankly at Gaiyin for a long duration, and once she was sure he was real, her nose tingled, and tears began uncontrollably streaming down her face!

She tightly hugged his neck, burying her face into his neck.

“Waaah~ Gaiyin~ I was so scared!

I, I thought I would never see you again!”

“And…

And I was taken by a large bird, waaah~ I also encountered many fierce and evil Beastn, they were always chasing !”

Gaiyin gently patted Su Tang’s back, comforting her in a low voice, “Su, don’t cry, it’s all over now!”

All the grievances, fear, resentnt, and all the negative emotions exploded at this mont!

From the mont she was taken by the large bird, she was imnsely scared!

Then, she encountered that group of Beastn.

Initially she thought they might be friendly, but she couldn’t understand why they were persistently following not too far behind!

She was the only one on the endless dirt road, chased by those Beastn for almost two hours!

With no one to rely on but herself.

If it weren’t for her ntal resilience, she might not have lasted until help arrived!

Even now, thinking back on the feelings she had while walking on that dirt road still gives her the shivers!

Therefore, after catching a chill and being overwheld with all kinds of fear and panic, Su Tang began to run a high fever!

But luckily, the sickness was managed just in ti!

Gradually–

Su Tang slowly stopped crying, and said to Gaiyin with a thick nasal voice, “Gaiyin, I’m so hungry~”

Gaiyin magically pulled out two legs of a Flower Gugu Beast, “I knew you’d be hungry, eat quickly!”

Su Tang took the chicken leg and started eating in large bites!

“Gaiyin, I also want to drink water~”

After making sure Su Tang was seated properly, Gaiyin used his Primordial Power to condense a small golden bowl, drew a bowl of Chinese Thorowax Soup dicine, and brought it to Su Tang’s side.

“Old Nike said, you need to drink so more dicine after waking up to recover!”

Su Tang nodded in agreent, and with Gaiyin’s support, she drank all the warm dicine.

Perhaps due to her sickness, Su Tang felt her head getting heavy after having a full al.

Though she had just woken up, her eyelids were already starting to close!

Upon noticing this, Gaiyin helped Su Tang lie down on the stone bed, “Rest for a while!”

Su Tang tightly clung onto Gaiyin’s hand, looking scared as a frightened long-eared beast, “Don’t go, I’m scared!”

Gaiyin laid down beside her and whispered, “Go to sleep, I won’t go anywhere!”
