A light cut of blood appeared on her fair cheek. “You have changed a lot… ROOT.” She used the thick sleeve to wipe away the trail of blood while she kept her eyes glued on ROOT in her fourth form. For high level Anomaly, the change in appearance or even a complete reconstruction of their internal structure would not affect their ability to recognize each other because they only recognized each other through codes.

“Sigh…” 23 gave off a long sigh and said with a helpless expression. “Then are you done with that?”
“Just done!” Red Iron replied and he bounced up from the hole. By now, his wound had indeed disappeared but on the front and back of his chest was stuck with a pile of demon’s vine that was earthly yellow in color. “The corrupted code in this scenario is quite useful. 23’s expression did not change. She still kept her eyes focused on ROOT to prevent the enemy from ambushing her with a sudden attack.

When ROOT spoke, the version of herself in the 15th form raised her arm to touch the giant tallic snowflake. The next second, she lted into liquid form and soon absorbed herself into her main body. “If not for the fact that I am afraid of accidentally injuring my own people… I can destroy you with one single blast.” ROOT poked her face out from the tallic snowflake to show a sneering laugh. “But it turns out nicely because you do not deserve such a swift and easy ending.”
23 did not reply. She rely stood where she was quietly and used every single second that she was accorded to regenerate her strength. As one of the few unique Anomalies in the ga, 23 had exceptionally good self-regenerative power but of course, she was not as monstrously strong as ROOT…
“I say… Looks like this is the end of our journey.” On the other end of the battlefield, Vishnu controlled several copper monsters to fend off the enemies while he told Yama next to him. “I am not sure what it ant to be killed in this scenario… but, if sothing bad is to happen, I hope that you will at least know this…”
