"Senior."
Sophie Allen called out to him.
Henry Hudson nodded slightly, a scholar-like smile on his face, just like the man he was.
He said, "Charlotte, I’ve just finished a surgery. The nurse told sobody was causing a fuss here. I rushed over imdiately and I’ve already called security."
Upon hearing Henry Hudson’s words, the expressions on Mia Stewart’s and Emily Allen’s faces could only be described as colorful.
"We’re just here for a visit. So what if our voices were a bit loud? How can that be called making a fuss?" Mia Stewart stepped forward, smiling, "It’s all a misunderstanding."
Although she had retired from the circle many years ago, she had been celebrated in different parts of the country before, and people still recognized her today.
She definitely didn’t want to be dragged out by security!
"Absolutely, it’s just a misunderstanding. We didn’t even know that you, Dr. Hudson, were the owner of Cot Hospital!" Emily Allen chuckled on the surface, but in reality, she was filled with envy.
She couldn’t believe that after Sophie was cheated on, she found such an impressive new boyfriend.
"Dr. Hudson, let’s talk it out nicely. There’s no need to be so hasty ~" Emily Allen cast a seductive glance at Henry, finding him more and more attractive. She thought he was much better than Ryan Richard.
Sophie let out a cold laugh, staring at the woman not far away acting foolishly, and mocked her, "Emily, have so sha!"
"You——" Emily glared at her, so angry that her teeth itched, but she didn’t dare lash out in front of Henry Hudson.
She tugged Mia Stewart’s arm and said, "Mom, let’s go, we don’t want to cause any trouble for Dr. Hudson."
With that, the two of them hurriedly left, mainly because they were afraid of being taken away by security.
The ward had restored its tranquility.
Henry Hudson checked on Aunt Watson’s condition and confird she was okay, then tucked her into bed.
"Senior, I’m sorry to have troubled you again." Sophie felt very apologetic.
Henry exhaled slowly and said, "Charlotte, don’t say that, I should be doing this."
"Knock, knock, knock!"
At this mont, there was a knock at the door.
Both of them looked up.
Sophie thought it was Mia and Emily returning, but it turned out to be Evelyn Curtis.
"Evelyn."
"Charlotte, I was just passing by Cot, so I thought I’d co to see Aunt Watson again. Did I disturb you two?" Evelyn Curtis spoke softly.
Her gaze moved between Henry Hudson and Sophie, sizing them up back and forth.
Henry broke the silence, "Charlotte, since your friend is here, I won’t bother you guys. I have another surgery scheduled, so I have to leave first."
After he left, Evelyn Curtis hurried in and took Sophie’s hand.
She asked with a gossiping tone, "Who was that man? You two seed very close~"
"He’s my college senior, and a doctor here." Sophie answered.
"You and him..." Evelyn began, but changed her mind midway. However, she made a crossed finger gesture.
Sophie quickly shook her head and explained, "My senior is a good person and always helpful. There’s nothing between us like what you’re imagining."
"That’s right, after all, you’re already married to Justin Battleson’s little brother. You probably wouldn’t be interested in the doctor." Evelyn Curtis blurted out.
She had just been to see Justin Battleson to inquire about Sophie and learned that Sophie was engaged to Justin’s brother and had already moved in with them.
The reason Sophie had a fragrance deal with Justin was because he was now Sophie’s brother-in-law, and that’s how they beca acquainted.
She never expected Justin Battleson to have a younger brother.
If Justin Battleson is so perfect, his younger brother must not be too far off.
Evelyn Curtis never could have imagined that she would beco Sophie’s sister-in-law!
