Charlotte turned her head away, unmoved.

"You see, it’s because you’re so disobedient that I’m doing this. So behave... Charlotte, don’t push ." Vincent’s tone dropped several degrees.

Charlotte knew that provoking Vincent right now was aningless, and from his words, she could guess that he wanted to take her away.

So, he definitely wouldn’t harm her casually.

Therefore, Charlotte didn’t refuse, especially since her throat was already dry and hoarse.

Her odd way of drinking water amused Vincent, widening the curve on his lips.

He then gently wiped away the water stains from the corner of Charlotte’s mouth with his fingertips, "Hungry? What would you like to eat? I’ll prepare it for you."

Charlotte nodded, indicating she wanted to eat sothing.

Upon hearing this, Vincent turned and left the room to prepare sothing for her.

Charlotte seized the opportunity of Vincent leaving to get up and thoroughly examine the room she was in.

She then tugged at the chain on her hand, the fetters controlled by electronic devices were not sothing that could be easily pried open.

Gritting her molars tightly, Charlotte began to approach the window, hoping to identify her current location by the outside environnt.

But since Charlotte could think of this, Vincent naturally wouldn’t overlook it, so her current range of movent was only a semicircle, unable to reach the window.

Charlotte let out a helpless sigh, realizing Vincent had brought her from the hospital, aning Justin must already know she was missing.

But now, she had no ans of contacting Justin.

Now, Charlotte could only hope that Justin would find so clues in Vincent’s office.

Quickly, Vincent returned to the room with a prepared simple al.

Of course, Charlotte wouldn’t tornt herself and imdiately filled her stomach.

Charlotte recalled hearing Vincent’s words over the phone and initially thought she would be locked in this room for several days.

What she didn’t expect was that after the al, Vincent injected her with a drug, causing her to drowsily fall asleep.

...

anwhile.

Justin was earnestly searching for Charlotte’s whereabouts, but unlike her expectations, he found no useful clues in Vincent’s office.

Not to ntion any surveillance records of her being taken to the hospital.

It was as if Vincent had vanished into thin air with Charlotte in that office.

"They shouldn’t have left the hospital long and couldn’t have taken Mommy far away." Hank analyzed seriously.

Justin had already thought of this and instructed Michael on the other side to start a full search.

"Who would have thought Uncle Vincent turned out to be a bad person." Chad sighed.

"But we have no leads and can’t find Mommy. What should we do now?" Olivia’s tone was sowhat dejected.

"In hindsight, we should have been with Daddy accompanying Mommy, and this wouldn’t have happened." Chad sniffled, looking a bit sad.

Seeing this, Cyrus spoke up:

"Let’s think carefully; maybe there’s a clue we’ve overlooked."
