When Justin Battleson saw Charlotte Thompson at that mont, his face was unreservedly filled with astonishnt.

He couldn’t help but take a step closer to Charlotte.

Even though she saw Justin every day, the current scene made Charlotte feel a bit shy, and she involuntarily looked away.

"You, how did you get here?"

Charlotte’s voice was soft, like a hook, gently scraping across Justin’s heart.

It was the first ti Justin felt his vocabulary so lacking; looking at Charlotte before him, he found himself at a loss for words.

After thinking for a long ti, only this word slipped from his lips.

"Beautiful."

Justin reached out his hand toward Charlotte, his deep voice tinged with laughter slowly spreading, landing gently on Charlotte’s heart.

"You look handso today, too."

Charlotte returned Justin’s sweet smile, placing her fingertips naturally into his palm.

Considering Charlotte’s wedding dress, Justin didn’t use much strength to hook her fingertips, while Charlotte made the deliberate step forward, eventually being drawn into his embrace.

The movent caused Charlotte’s loosely tied hair to fall, cascading over her fair shoulders.

"Oh dear, my hair..."

The strands brushed against her shoulders, making them feel slightly itchy.

Charlotte only then rembered this important issue; she intended to reach out to adjust it, but Justin was already ahead of her.

His long, jade-like fingers threaded through Charlotte’s hair, carefully winding the silky tresses back into place.

Justin’s fingertips unintentionally brushed against Charlotte’s cheek, akin to a feather lightly gliding by, making one’s heart tickle.

Charlotte’s cheeks flushed a shy red; she pressed her lips together, avoiding Justin’s gaze, instead turning to appraise herself in the large floor mirror.

The next second, she saw in the mirror that Justin had sowhere procured a box, opening it to reveal a necklace inside.

He placed the necklace around Charlotte’s neck from behind, and a beautiful gem now adorned the once empty collarbone.

In fact, the design of this necklace was quite simple, and the gemstones weren’t of an ostentatious color. Yet, when paired with Charlotte’s luxurious wedding dress, it exuded a subtle feeling.

Charlotte reached up to touch the necklace on her neck and suddenly thought of sothing, her expression shifting to surprise.

"Could this be..." Charlotte touched the necklace, catching Justin’s gaze in the mirror.

Although Charlotte hesitated to speak, Justin already knew what she was about to say, as he nodded, placing his palm on Charlotte’s slender shoulder.

"You said you really liked the old man’s works."

"But didn’t the old man already retire from the fashion world?"

The designer of this necklace was a very famous jewelry designer whose work Charlotte had always admired. However, several years ago, he announced his retirent from the design world.

Charlotte never expected that a random comnt she made previously, Justin would actually seek out.

"How did you manage it?"

Charlotte, a bit curious, turned her head to look at Justin.

"Secret."

Encircling Charlotte’s waist with his arm, Justin tilted his head to place a gentle kiss on her fair neck, speaking tenderly.
