"It’s infuriating, Charlotte finally fell for that man nad Justin Battleson."
Joshua Thompson snorted coldly, muttering under his breath.
Felix Thompson chid in, "Our dear sister hasn’t spent much ti with our Thompson family. Now that she’s remarried to Justin Battleson, won’t she co back to the Thompson family even less often?"
"Where’s Charlotte now? Why don’t we go see her? Our Charlotte must be absolutely stunning today," Jonathan Thompson said with a playful wink, nudging Felix with his elbow.
Jonathan’s comnt piqued Felix’s interest, and just as he was about to agree eagerly, Harrison Thompson ca over and knocked on his head.
"What are you two knuckleheads talking about? Charlotte must be getting ready now, don’t go and bother her."
Felix and Jonathan clamd up imdiately at Harrison’s remark.
The mbers of the Thompson family spoke in hushed tones, while on the other side, the waitstaff preparing the venue were also whispering to each other:
"Oh my God, the Thompson family brothers are so handso!"
"Who wouldn’t agree?"
"My goodness, I’m so envious of Miss Thompson. Not only does she have so many handso brothers, but she’s marrying Mr. Battleson, such an outstanding man. If only I could be Miss Thompson for just one day!"
"Alright, alright, stop daydreaming. There’s less than two hours until the wedding starts, so let’s hurry up and get ready."
The two waitstaff were joking around as they carried flowers to other places when suddenly, a figure appeared from nowhere and bumped straight into one of their shoulders.
The waitress staggered, but although she was the one who was hit, she dared not offend anyone since all the guests attending the wedding were either rich or important, so she quickly apologized despite the pain.
"Are you alright..."
The waitress bowed repeatedly in apology, then raised her head to see who was in front of her, only to find a face completely covered with a mask and sunglasses, which left her dumbfounded.
However, the person didn’t respond to the waitress and simply adjusted the mask before leaving in haste.
"Who is that, dressed so strangely?"
The waitress frowned as she watched the person’s back.
"Dressed like that, it must be so celebrity trying to hide their identity."
"But since they’re already attending the wedding, what’s there to hide?" The waitress shook her head in confusion but felt instinctively that sothing seed off about the person who had passed by.
Yet before she could think more about it, their supervisor called them over for help, and the matter was quickly forgotten.
anwhile, the bride of this wedding, Charlotte Thompson, was preparing in the makeup room.
Charlotte sat in a chair, looking at herself reflected in the mirror, her smile deepening.
"Let see, who looks so beautiful today?"
Annie Anne entered from outside, and Charlotte saw her through the mirror.
"Annie, you’re here," Charlotte blinked in surprise.
"Of course, it’s your wedding, how could I not co?" Annie Anne gave her a bright smile.
