Seeing the argunt over there getting louder and louder, Charlotte Thompson closed the file in her hand and walked towards the door.
"If you don’t have an appointnt, there’s no way you can co in."
As soon as Charlotte walked over, she heard the security guard’s voice, barely suppressing his anger.
"Do you know who I am? I want to see Justin Battleson, and I need an appointnt?" the middle-aged woman argued loudly.
Hearing the middle-aged woman’s words, Charlotte raised her slender eyebrows and slowly asked,
"What’s going on?"
The security personnel turned their heads and saw Charlotte beside them. As if seeing a savior, they quickly took a step back and anxiously explained to Charlotte,
"Miss Thompson, this lady wants to see our Mr. Battleson, but she doesn’t have an appointnt. I wanted her to wait in the lounge area, but she keeps trying to force her way in..."
But before the security personnel could finish explaining, the middle-aged woman’s eyes lit up at the sight of Charlotte.
She then walked up quickly, seemingly trying to grab Charlotte, but Coco swiftly blocked the middle-aged woman’s movent with a folder.
"You, you are Charlotte Thompson?"
The middle-aged woman scrutinized Charlotte carefully, and a bright smile appeared on her face.
Charlotte glanced at the middle-aged woman in front of her, confirming she had never t her, but she still nodded politely.
"May I ask who you are?"
But the middle-aged woman didn’t answer Charlotte’s question, instead stating her intentions.
"Is Justin Battleson in the company? If you take in, can I see him? I have sothing very important to discuss with him."
Seeing this, Charlotte took a step back, her gaze falling on the anxious expression of the middle-aged woman, "Madam, if you can’t tell who you are, I may not be able to help you et our Mr. Battleson."
At this point, Charlotte had scanned the middle-aged woman from head to toe. Despite her luxurious attire and abundance of jewelry,
her behavior was sowhat crude.
A sense of incongruity arose.
After hearing Charlotte’s words, the middle-aged woman’s expression hesitated. She seed reluctant to reveal her purpose for being there to Charlotte.
But observing the stance of the surrounding security personnel, she feared she’d never get in unless she ca clean.
The middle-aged woman stared at Charlotte, hesitating as if unsure whether to speak up, then her gaze shifted past Charlotte’s shoulder to sowhere not far away.
She cunningly reached out and pushed Charlotte’s shoulder, taking advantage of Charlotte’s unsteady position to rush straight into the company.
Charlotte didn’t anticipate the middle-aged woman would suddenly make a move, which caused her to stumble and nearly fall.
Seeing this, the security personnel called over their colleagues, and together they surrounded the middle-aged woman, apprehending her just as she was about to enter the elevator.
"Let go of , let go of , do you know who I am?"
The middle-aged woman scread loudly as she was dragged out, attracting the attention of everyone in the lobby.
At that mont, the lobby not only had company employees but also so project collaborators, representatives of endorsed brands, and celebrity managers and assistants.
Now that such a spectacle was being made, it wouldn’t be long before the news spread far and wide.
