Charlotte Thompson practically didn’t hesitate at all before she determined that Leon Battleson must be the one causing trouble behind the scenes.
After his last setback, Leon Battleson vanished suddenly, only to now create a more severe dia storm.
Glancing at the ti on her watch, Charlotte Thompson spoke to Coco:
"It’s already past quitting ti. Send out a notification to all the employees in the branch offices; no one is allowed to wantonly discuss the issues online."
Charlotte felt that the most important thing right now was to stabilize the situation, preventing further spread of the commotion.
Upon hearing Charlotte’s words, Coco nodded repeatedly, then proceeded to notify the branch office employees as instructed.
Charlotte dared not waste any ti herself and planned to head straight back to the company.
However, the situation online was developing so rapidly that despite Charlotte giving Coco advance instructions, she still heard so employees discussing it as she left the office.
But Charlotte couldn’t be bothered with this. She rushed back to the group at the fastest speed possible, not even calling Justin Battleson.
What Charlotte didn’t expect was that the journalists and dia were much faster than her; by the ti she arrived, the lower part of the company was already tightly surrounded.
Of course, Charlotte quickly beca the center of attention; as soon as she got out of the car, the dia sward around her frantically.
"Miss Thompson, how much do you know about the situation online?"
"Rumor has it that the Thompson Family has been supporting Justin Battleson from behind the scenes. Is this information accurate?"
"Miss Thompson, does this exposure affect your wedding with Mr. Battleson? Or did you know the truth from the very beginning?"
"Miss Thompson, could you please reveal a bit more?"
The reporters wished to jam their microphones into Charlotte’s face, scrambling to ask questions, afraid they might miss any important information.
Engulfed among the crowd, Charlotte’s expression turned extrely unpleasant. She couldn’t escape the journalists’ siege, nor could she reject their interviews, as her attempts were overshadowed by their questioning.
Just as Charlotte was about to be shoved by the reporters, a hand promptly reached out, wrapping around her waist, steadying her.
Charlotte looked up and, naturally, standing in front of her was Justin Battleson.
"Justin!"
Charlotte cast her worried glance on Justin Battleson’s face.
"Are you okay?"
Justin looked down at Charlotte, his tightly furrowed brow completely conveying his inner displeasure.
Charlotte shook her head, but before she could speak, the reporters went crazy upon seeing Justin finally appear and flocked to him.
However, Justin had already arranged for people to keep the reporters at bay, giving Charlotte so breathing space.
This sort of scene was indeed sothing Charlotte had never seen before.
"Regarding the unfounded online rumors, anyone who continues to discuss them will face legal consequences."
Justin’s voice was chillingly cold.
