On the other side, Charlotte Thompson took the children to the hospital to visit Grace.

Although the children knew about Grace being hospitalized, Charlotte hadn’t planned on bringing them in until now.

Just as Charlotte had anticipated, when the children saw Grace lying on the hospital bed, their spirits sank one by one.

"Mommy, did the doctor say... when will Grace wake up?" Jack Thompson wanted to walk up to Grace’s bed but stopped, turning to look at Charlotte.

"The doctor said Grace is recovering well and will definitely wake up soon." Although Charlotte was comforting the children, her expression showed a touch of sadness.

"Then, when she wakes up, can she have surgery? Didn’t Uncle Vincent say that they found a suitable heart for Grace, so she can be cured then?"

Chad Thompson looked at Charlotte with anticipation, and naturally, his question was what the other children wanted to ask as well.

However, upon hearing Chad ntion Vincent, Charlotte tightened her palm hanging by her side.

This subtle movent didn’t escape Jas Thompson’s notice.

"Yes, the doctor said Grace can undergo surgery once she wakes up soon."

Charlotte smiled and nodded to the children. Just as she intended to walk to Grace’s bed, she suddenly felt dizzy, her body swaying.

If Jas hadn’t quickly walked over to support Charlotte, she might have fallen to the ground.

This action certainly startled everyone in the ward.

"What happened?"

Jas looked at Charlotte with a serious expression, reaching to press the call button by the bed, but Charlotte quickly stopped him.

"It’s nothing, just felt a bit dizzy earlier, probably due to low blood sugar."

The discomfort was fleeting, and Charlotte didn’t take it seriously.

However, Jas and the other children didn’t agree.

"No, Mommy, I think you need to get checked out. You don’t look good." Hank Thompson disagreed, rebutting Charlotte’s words.

"Yes, Mommy, besides, you’ve been staying at the hospital with Auntie, running around, and haven’t had a good rest." Jack quickly echoed Hank’s words.

At this mont, Olivia Thompson stepped forward, tugged on Jas’s clothes with her hand, her anxious eyes fixed on Charlotte.

"Uncle Jas, take Mommy for a check-up. We can stay here and take care of Grace."

But Charlotte was quick to hold down Jas’s rising arm.

"No need, I know my own body. Don’t worry, babies. I had a health check-up a few days ago; if there was anything wrong, it would have been detected."

She then turned to look at Jas, "Don’t worry, either, you’re making nervous."

Although Charlotte had uttered words of reassurance, Jas’s tightly knit brow didn’t ease in the slightest. Just as he was about to say sothing, his phone rang in his pocket.

Standing by Jas’s side, Charlotte could naturally see the caller ID on his phone’s screen. Seeing it was his older brother, Charlotte hastened to let Jas take the call.
