The remaining children just looked at each other, not knowing what to say.

However, compared to the children’s awkwardness, Jas naturally opened his mouth to ask:

"Where are you going?"

"We are just..."

Initially, Hank wanted to make up so excuse, but Cyrus directly said:

"We’re worried that Mommy got sick and went to the hospital, so we want to go see her."

"Yes, yes, Uncle, do you know what’s wrong with Mommy?" Olivia looked at Jas with a pitiful expression at this mont.

Sure enough, after hearing the children’s words, Jas’s brow furrowed slightly.

"Charlotte is sick?"

Jas had only returned to the Thompson Family this morning from elsewhere, so he wasn’t aware of so things.

"Uncle, why don’t you take us to the hospital to have a look? We are really worried about Mommy." Olivia stepped forward at this mont, grabbing Jas’s clothing hem and gently shaking it.

She raised her little face, her eyes full of pleading as she looked at Jas.

"Alright, Uncle will take you." Jas naturally had no reason to refuse, so he nodded and agreed to their request.

With this response, the children were naturally excited and didn’t dare to waste even a second, imdiately urging Jas to take them to the hospital.

"But how do you know which hospital your Mommy went to?"

Hearing the children imdiately ntion which hospital Charlotte had gone to, Jas directed his gaze over.

His tone, however, did not carry any doubt or questioning; the understanding in his eyes seed to indicate he was already aware of what the children had done.

Seeing the children stamr without a definite answer, Jas chuckled softly and didn’t ask anymore, directly driving them toward the Central Hospital.

anwhile, in the Central Hospital, Charlotte was right by Annie Anne’s side.

"Are you going to sit here all night?" Charlotte looked at the haggard-looking Annie Anne and placed down what was in her hands.

Then she glanced over, finding that the food she’d brought for Annie Anne yesterday was still untouched on the table, causing Charlotte’s brow to furrow instantly.

"Also, you haven’t eaten a single bite?"

At this point, Charlotte walked to Annie Anne’s side with a gloomy expression, but before she could speak, Annie Anne shook her head.

"I’m sorry, Charlotte, but I really can’t eat anything."

Annie Anne’s voice was extrely hoarse, and her pale cheeks made her expression look even more haggard.

Indeed, Annie Anne had quietly stayed by Oliver Hudson’s bedside all night.

Annie Anne felt she spent the entire night lost in thought, especially about the scene in the factory, which felt like a long needle constantly stirring her heart until it was bloodied.

The scene of Oliver Hudson protecting her was imprinted in her mind like a mark, impossible for her to forget.

Annie Anne even had a fleeting sense of her hands being covered in blood as she lowered her head.

That blood had flowed from Oliver Hudson.

All night, Annie Anne was filled with guilt and sorrow, her emotions even starting to crumble.

Gradually though, Annie Anne returned to a calm state.
