After hearing Charlotte’s words, Annie couldn’t help but chuckle softly.
"Actually, at that ti... I was probably just caught up in the mont. After thinking it over, I still want to return to the entertainnt industry and continue acting, since it’s what I love the most."
However, when Annie spoke here, her tone carried an inexplicable emotion, but she quickly switched the topic.
"So, to celebrate my soon-to-be coback, will you go shopping with tomorrow?"
"Sure, you choose the ti and place, just send it to , and I’ll arrange my work for tomorrow," Charlotte readily agreed to Annie’s request.
"No way, tomorrow’s Saturday, and you’re still working overti?"
Annie’s voice was a little surprised, "Even though you’re the design director of Riley Group, you’re also the CEO’s wife, right? Can’t your background at the company get you a weekend off?"
Charlotte coughed lightly and quickly explained, "It’s related to the branch office. Now that the plagiarism allegations about my brand have been cleared up, there are quite a few things they want to handle, so I thought of taking advantage of the weekend to sort it out."

After chatting with Annie for a few more monts, the two ended the call.
"What made you so happy?"
Justin Battleson walked out of the bathroom, seeing Charlotte’s smiling face, he approached and embraced her from behind.
"All negative news about Annie online has been clarified, and Annie is soon returning to the entertainnt scene to continue her work."
Charlotte’s face was continuously lit with joy, clearly thrilled from the heart about Annie reentering the industry.
However, at that mont, ntioning Annie in front of Justin made Charlotte recall the scene when she went to pick up Olivia from Annie’s place.
"Have you been in touch with Oliver Hudson lately?"
"Did sothing happen?" Justin was a bit surprised that Charlotte suddenly brought up Oliver Hudson.
"Honestly, I don’t have the right to ddle between him and Annie, but..."
Reaching this point in the conversation, Charlotte found herself at a loss for words.
Justin naturally understood Charlotte’s concern and, while playfully twirling Charlotte’s hair between his fingers, pondered before responding:
"Actually, it’s been a long ti since I’ve contacted Oliver, as he seems to be dealing with so tricky issues lately."
After hearing Justin’s words, Charlotte seed to have thought of sothing, she wrapped her arms around Justin’s neck and asked:
"Is it sothing dangerous?"
When saying this, Charlotte’s expression revealed so uncertainty.
"To be honest, I’ve been wondering why Oliver suddenly brought Annie back, and even tricked in Annie’s na."
Later on, Charlotte had a conflict with Annie over this issue.
Thus, Charlotte naturally assud that Oliver intended to use Olivia to threaten Annie in so way.
