Charlotte saw this and imdiately raised her hand again.
Riley, now alert, covered her face and quickly dodged backward.
Charlotte’s patience with Riley had long been exhausted.
"Riley, you’d better not set your sights on Annie Anne, otherwise..."
Having said that, Charlotte quickly pressed the call button on the desk, signaling the assistant outside to co in.
"Charlotte! Just you wait and see!"
Riley was trembling with rage.
She had co to Charlotte today intending to sow discord using the issue with Annie Anne, but unexpectedly, she ended up being severely humiliated by Charlotte.
When she saw Charlotte’s assistant walk in, Riley noticed the assistant’s gaze falling on her face, which made Riley feel as if she were nailed to a pillar of sha.
She touched her cheek, the pain resonating all the way to her ears, buzzing.

After Riley left, Charlotte went directly to Justin Battleson’s office.
While she was eting with Riley, Justin had been in a eting, which had just ended.
Seeing Charlotte’s sowhat gloomy expression as she walked in, Justin reached out and wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her into his embrace.
"What happened?"
"Riley ca to see just now." Charlotte answered calmly.
Upon hearing Riley’s na, Justin frowned with so displeasure.
Charlotte reached out to adjust Justin’s tie and said in an even tone, "And Riley asked a question."
After a slight pause, Charlotte lifted her eyes, gazing into Justin’s.
"She asked whether you love for who I am, or for my looks."
But instead of answering Charlotte’s question directly, Justin posed his own inquiry.
"What do you think?"
Charlotte parted her lips slightly but didn’t utter a single word before Justin silenced her with a kiss.
It wasn’t until Charlotte felt like all the air had been drawn from her lungs that Justin reluctantly let her go.
"Charlotte, I love you."
Justin spoke without hesitation, "The reason I am captivated by you has nothing to do with beauty or status, it’s because it’s you, just you, that has deeply entranced."
His fingertips brushed over Charlotte’s fair face, his gaze tender,
"Your looks are just the icing on the cake, and in fact, I’m sowhat grateful that I look decent enough to catch Miss Thompson’s eye."
Reflecting on the long journey of pursuing his wife, Justin couldn’t help but be sentintal.
"From the heart?" Charlotte smiled, raising her eyebrows slightly.
In response, Justin pulled Charlotte’s hand to rest on his chest and nodded.
Feeling the strong heartbeat beneath her palm, Charlotte narrowed her eyes then contentedly leaned into Justin’s embrace.
"Oh, I want to find a spokesperson for my brand."
"Riley?" Justin imdiately pinpointed what Charlotte was thinking.
Charlotte nodded naturally, "Since Riley doesn’t seem to want to stay quiet, I’ll play along with her, and given the current popularity of the brand, I think it won’t be long before soone can’t resist making a move secretly."
"Alright, I’ll imdiately inform the PR departnt to sign Riley," Justin replied.
The smile on Charlotte’s face grew even brighter: "I’ll draft the contract."
