Everyone turned to look in the direction of the sound.
They saw Riley Thompson, who was filming, take a few angry steps back.
The actor standing with her looked embarrassed, seemingly at a loss for what to do.
"What happened?" The director stood up and stepped forward at this mont.
However, Riley didn’t answer the director imdiately. Instead, she said to the actor, "Mr. Walker, you’re right. In the entertainnt industry, acting skills are essential for actors, but I think... character is more important."
Riley didn’t lower her voice deliberately, so the employees on set all had a look of curiosity in their eyes due to her words.
"What do you an by that?"
The actor’s face was already flushed red. He raised his hand, trying his best to defend himself, but after stamring for a long ti, he couldn’t say anything critical.
Riley’s manager also walked over. He exchanged a glance with Riley and then draped the coat he was holding over Riley’s shoulders.
"Mr. Walker, I’ve been watching from the side, and I feel that your actions did seem to have crossed the line."
From what Riley’s manager said, plus the actions during the recent filming between the two actors, everyone around could guess what had happened.
"Don’t say that. We’re all actors, and so physical contact is no problem, right?"
However, after hearing her manager’s words, Riley, the one who initiated the matter, pressed her arm and then said to the actor with an apologetic look:
"Sorry, Mr. Walker, maybe it’s my problem! Perhaps I misunderstood you, but I haven’t rested well recently and beca a bit ntally sensitive."
Riley didn’t give the actor a chance to explain. Although she apologized to him, her expression at the mont looked as though she was grudgingly making peace.
"You!"
Sure enough, the actor was taken aback by Riley’s words.
"Director, now the actor I’m managing has encountered an issue, and as the director..." Riley’s manager’s words were cut off by Riley, who was faster.
"I’m sorry, director, for interrupting your filming. Can we take a break? I’m having trouble getting into character, could I adjust for a bit?"
When saying these words, Charlotte Thompson clearly saw Riley’s manager look at her with a surprised expression, causing Charlotte’s eyes to flicker slightly.
But facing Riley’s request, the director first looked at Charlotte, and after getting her approval, he waved to the cara crew to pause.
The director gave Riley a complicated look and then glanced at the actor beside her, looking sowhat conflicted, before letting Riley go to rest.
"Thank you, director."
Riley pulled on her coat and hurriedly left.
"Director, I really didn’t an to touch her, it was just an accident, I didn’t..."
After watching Riley leave, the actor couldn’t help but start defending himself.
He seed overly anxious, struggling to explain himself for a long ti without completing his sentences, making himself appear even more embarrassed.
While speaking, the actor kept casting glances at Charlotte Thompson.
