With that, Jas Thompson gave Justin Battleson a warning look and didn’t wait for Justin to respond. He turned straight around and walked away.
The moonlight was clear, but on this calm night, so people still found it hard to sleep.

The crisp sound of a slap instantly filled the quiet room.
Riley Thompson staggered and fell to the ground. She pressed her cheek, the spreading pain on her skin causing her to frown uncontrollably.
She turned her head to look at the pair of leather shoes in front of her, her body instinctively shivered.
"I had everything arranged for you, but what did you do?"
Leon Battleson reached out and pinched Riley’s cheek. Although his face was very calm, his gradually tightening fingertips revealed his anger at that mont.
"I... young master, I didn’t an to do it. At that ti, the alarm in the hotel suddenly went off, and I was afraid Justin Battleson’s assistant would suddenly return, so I just..."
Riley stamred to explain, her fear made her eyes involuntarily turn red.
She also felt incredulous because of what happened at the hotel today.
Originally, she had knocked out Justin Battleson according to the plan. Even if there was no way actually to do anything with Justin, taking so staged photos was doable.
However, what Riley never expected was that just as she was about to act, the alarm on the floor suddenly sounded, and then she heard quite a few footsteps and knocks outside. The entire floor started to beco noisy, leaving Riley with no way to do anything.
"Alarm?"
However, Riley’s explanation made Leon’s face even more sinister and terrifying.
His fingers pressed harder, instantly leaving red marks on Riley’s pale skin.
"Soone must have done it on purpose..." Riley’s voice was sowhat unclear, feeling like her bones were about to be crushed.
"Idiot."
Then Leon snorted coldly, dismissively throwing Riley aside like trash.
He sat back in his chair, a coldness flashing in his narrow eyes.
Now that there was such a flaw in the plan, it ant that things between him and Justin Battleson were thoroughly exposed.
"Young master, what should we do next?" Riley swallowed nervously.
"What to do?" Like hearing so ridiculous question, Leon slightly raised his eyebrows.
"What do you think? I gave you such a golden opportunity, and you couldn’t seize it. What use are you to ?"
As he spoke, Leon unprecedentedly curled up the corners of his mouth, but this smile sent Riley into an icy pit.
Her body shivered, then Riley quickly crawled to Leon’s feet, tugging at his trouser leg.
"Young master, please give one more chance. No matter what, I will seduce Justin Battleson. He must have liked once, and now that I look so much like Charlotte, I can definitely replace her."
"Your words remind ." Leon lifted Riley’s face, observed for a few monts, then lightly chuckled.
"Now you only look like Charlotte, but if you were exactly like her, wouldn’t that be even better?"
Riley seed to realize sothing, and her pupils contracted tightly.
