When Justin Battleson noticed Charlotte Thompson entering, he could tell she was a bit worried.
Thinking it through, Charlotte’s primary concern now must be her daughter’s, Grace’s, health condition.
"Yes, tomorrow we’ll get Grace’s dical report. If the heart really doesn’t match..."
At this point, Charlotte didn’t dare to continue. She was comforting Grace one mont, and the next, she found herself spiraling into worry because of what Grace had said earlier.
Seeing this, Justin stretched out his hand and gently pressed down on Charlotte’s head.
"Don’t be so pessimistic. Even if we haven’t found a heart that matches Grace’s, Michael is still on the lookout."
For both Justin Battleson and Charlotte Thompson, Grace’s health was always the most important thing in their hearts.
"Yes, and with Vincent’s help at the hospital, I feel much more at ease."
Charlotte thought to herself.
Previously, Doctor Vincent told her that a heart had been found and the chances of a match might be higher.
But after hearing what Charlotte said, Justin slightly raised his eyebrows: "You seem to have a good relationship with that Doctor Vincent."
Charlotte was still thinking about Grace’s situation, so she didn’t pick up on the trap in Justin’s words and naturally nodded.
Although Justin’s expression hadn’t changed much, his tightly pressed lips revealed his inner displeasure at the mont.
Only then did Charlotte belatedly realize what was happening. She looked curiously at Justin in front of her and said, "Are you jealous?"
The next second, Justin took a step forward, stretched out his long arm, and pulled Charlotte into his embrace.
"Yes, I’m jealous."

Thinking of those years after he was separated from Charlotte, when he wasn’t by her side, Justin always felt a pang of regret.
So after reuniting with Charlotte, he tried everything to make up for the guilt and regret of the past.
To fill the void from that period in their shared history.
Unexpectedly, when Justin outright admitted it, Charlotte looked up and t Justin’s sowhat serious expression. For so reason, she burst into laughter.
Charlotte’s reaction was sowhat unexpected for Justin. He slowly lifted his gaze and hooked her fingers into his palm.
"Thinking about the long period when I wasn’t by your side and didn’t even know any news about you."
Justin spoke in a muffled voice.
He didn’t like this feeling.
"You just told that the past is a settled matter, unchangeable, and that we should focus on the present and future, but now you’re bringing up past things again."
Charlotte blinked her eyes and then, as if guided by an unseen force, raised her palm and pressed it against Justin’s cheek.
"How can this be the sa?"
Justin took hold of Charlotte’s fingertips and gently kissed them.
"How is it not the sa?"
Justin’s gaze was full of warmth, looking directly at Charlotte, allowing her image to fill his pupils.
"During the ti I wasn’t by your side, you had other n around you, of course, I’d care about that."
