"I don’t know what’s going on either, lately I’ve just been so tired, feels like I can fall asleep anywhere and anyti." Grace said softly.
"Though this is a reaction to the dication, how could it be this severe?"
Charlotte rembered the last ti she took Grace to the hospital and Vincent injected her with dication.
Although Vincent had ntioned that Grace would feel fatigued and drowsy afterwards, Charlotte originally thought this reaction would only last for a short while.
But now so much ti has passed, and it’s still the sa, which made Charlotte start to worry.
"It’s okay, mommy, I just like sleeping, that’s all."
While speaking, Grace took Charlotte’s hand, using her words to comfort her.
"Tomorrow your examination report will be out, and mommy will take you to the hospital. We can also ask the doctor about this situation."
Charlotte stroked Grace’s long hair with her hand, telling her about going to the hospital tomorrow.
"When the examination report cos out, does it an Grace can have surgery soon to cure her illness?" Upon hearing Charlotte’s words, Jack imdiately leaned over, supporting himself on the sofa with both hands.
"That’s great, Grace will soon feel much better." Olivia clapped her hands happily.
Although Charlotte only said they were going to the hospital the next day to collect the check-up report, the children had already assud the heart match would be successful, and soon Grace would undergo surgery to cure her illness.
When Grace heard Charlotte’s words, a smile appeared on her face, but her deanor looked sowhat lazy, as if she might fall asleep if no one paid attention to her in the next second.
However, unlike the children’s joyful reaction to the news, Charlotte felt a sense of worry rising in her heart.
Nonetheless, she didn’t show it in front of the children.
She didn’t know why, but Charlotte always felt as if sothing was sitting heavily on her chest, making her feel trapped.
Yet soon, Charlotte’s attention returned to the children; as long as they were happy, she would feel content.
After dinner, Charlotte and Justin took the children back to the villa.
The kindergarten assigned a handicraft task for the children. At the children’s request, Justin and Charlotte bought all the necessary materials on the way back to the villa, and as soon as they returned, the children imdiately got to work.
However, when it ca to crafts, Charlotte found that she wasn’t very skilled. Originally, she intended to guide the children, but she ended up sitting on the side with the instructions, marveling at the progress of the tis as even handicrafts had beco so intricate.
"This should go here..."
Olivia looked at the parts on the table, then at the instructions, murmuring, while her fingertips rubbed against her wrist as if she were touching sothing.
Noticing her own action, Olivia glanced down, froze for a mont, and then withdrew her hand.
Seeing Olivia’s gesture, Charlotte thought sothing happened and quickly asked, "What’s wrong, Annie, is sothing the matter?"
"It’s nothing mommy, it’s just that I used to wear a bracelet on my hand and would subconsciously touch it. I got used to it, so even though I’m not wearing it now, I still want to touch it occasionally."
