Lachlan Wyatt’s action of throwing the wine glass was far too sudden, scaring the lady beside him, and he didn’t care at all whether the shards might fly out and hurt soone. He just placed Iris Crawford on the sofa and then turned to Hector Sutton, saying, "Check the surveillance footage for ."

The private room was booked by Jeremy Carter as the decision-maker, so he naturally had to step up. Taking a glance at the woman gasping on the sofa, Jeremy imdiately whipped out his phone and said, "I’ll ask the manager here for you."

Hector Sutton was stunned. Looking at Iris Crawford after she drank that glass of wine, she was supposed to be arrogant and beautiful, with stunning and striking features, yet at this mont, her aggressive and alluring looks seed to lt like a pool of spring water. She couldn’t clearly see the person in front of her, gripping the sofa beneath her with all her might, thinking that maybe this could help her regain consciousness.

As if driven by so mysterious force, Hector Sutton squatted down to observe her condition, only to hear her mumble unconsciously, "Jordan Jacobs..."

Jordan Jacobs?

The eldest son of the Jacobs family, whose ex-wife died, and even in his second marriage had been sent a wreath?

Hector Sutton’s heart imdiately skipped a beat, overwheld by an unknown emotion, and then he gritted his teeth and said to Iris Crawford, "I thought you had better taste; fancying a married man enough to mumble nonsense about him?"

Iris couldn’t distinguish who was speaking to her, still thinking it was Lachlan Wyatt, and dimly retorted, "None of your damn business."

"..." Hector Sutton truly couldn’t understand this woman. How co she’s nothing like other proper, gentle, obedient girls?

Lachlan Wyatt glanced down at Iris and knew her situation was urgent. He walked over to Jas Chesterton and said, "You need to call Peach over, Jeremy, you help sort out this matter."

"What about Birdie?"

Jas was sowhat anxious, seeing Iris lying uncomfortable on the sofa, wishing he could suffer in her place, "We can’t just leave Birdie here unattended, can we?"

After these words, they turned their focus back to Iris, discovering she had started murmuring all sorts of random things.

The expression on Iris Crawford’s face being drugged could be described as the pinnacle of pure desire. Lachlan Wyatt stared intently at her, falling into silence for several seconds, and at that mont the man himself couldn’t believe he hesitated.

But right now, Lachlan Wyatt’s priority was to deal with whoever drugged her.

In his eyes, nothing was more important than himself; now that soone had drugged his drink, he had to identify the reckless person responsible. As for Iris...

Lachlan glanced at the woman sprawled on the sofa, then looked at the displeased Hector Sutton crouching nearby and said, "Hector Sutton, help take her to the hotel."

Hector Sutton jumped up as if his tail had been stepped on, "What did you say?!"

He was to take her to the hotel?

"Otherwise?" Lachlan frowned, his previously nonchalant aura instantly turning oppressive. In his gaze was a hint of gloom, seemingly displeased by being provoked or tricked, hence his mood soured.

At this point, with Iris experiencing an unexpected incident nearby, it only delayed his problem-solving speed. So Lachlan nodded at Hector Sutton, "Fifteen minutes, take her away and safely get her to the hotel."

"Damn it." It was the first ti Hector Sutton was being ordered by Lachlan, "Wyatt, I’m not your lackey."

"I can beat you until you can’t help but be my lackey." Lachlan stared at Hector Sutton with a smirk, "Who do you think can hit harder, or her?"

Hector Sutton promptly lifted the feverish Iris Crawford, "Just this once! Rember to reimburse for the travel and room costs!"

He carried Iris out the door, still holding her close as he flipped Lachlan the middle finger in protest, "Hurry up and deal with it, then co get her from , I don’t want to stay with this woman!"

Lachlan watched him leave with Iris, and then Jeremy closed the door to the private room, letting no third person in or out.

Stepping forward, Jeremy took a look at the escort ladies huddled together in fear. The man tugged at his shirt collar and sneered, "You all had quite the plans today."

The ladies knew that a bunch of young heirs would co; it seed none of them could sit still.

Indeed, in this world, there are always more shaless people, forever thinking of cheap tricks to infiltrate the circles of wealth.

If they do get in, do they think they can really stand firm with their level?

"Young Master Carter, it wasn’t , it wasn’t ..." one of the ladies trembled, "How could I dare do such a thing? I..."

"It was definitely you!" Another lady saw her busy disassociating herself and quickly dragged her down, "You were said to want to climb up to Young Master Wyatt; suddenly distancing yourself when trouble arises must an you’re guilty!"

"And you said you wanted to be Young Master Carter’s mistress! Shaless!" A few ladies tore into each other, backstabbing one another, previously calling each other sisters when drinking together, now they couldn’t wait to expose all the dirt.

"She previously even had an abortion for so young rich man! Couldn’t break up his marriage and got dragged by the real wife to get it aborted, surely now wants to pick a new target with Young Master Wyatt!"

"Nonsense! You bitch! Clearly you said you thought Dane Rivers would be the easiest to deceive being the youngest!"

Jeremy coldly watched them tear into each other, a look of ridicule remaining on his fair face. There’s always this type of person in the world, whether male or female, who truly discards dignity just to climb higher.

Throughout the process, Lachlan remained silent, waiting as the relevant personnel retrieved the surveillance footage. At this point, when he saw Dane Rivers being silent, he raised a brow in caution, "Usually in these situations you’re at the forefront."

For once, Dane Rivers did not retort, maybe because Iris had taught him a lesson that kept his temper in check, or perhaps hiding sothing he didn’t want known. He avoided Lachlan’s gaze, instinctively reaching into his pocket, making up an excuse, "I drank a bit too much, and just now took a break due to dizziness."

Lachlan’s gaze darkened gradually.

******

Hector Sutton never expected Lachlan to assign him the task of taking the woman to the hotel. Why did he just have to squat down and observe the woman at that mont?

Carrying Iris Crawford up the stairs, the receptionists whispered behind him, "Isn’t that Young Master Sutton?"

"He’s got a new female companion again, huh? Rich n change won like changing clothes."

Hector Sutton cursed internally; even if he did change won like changing clothes, he would definitely not pick soone like the woman in his arms!

The woman had a gorgeous face, yet her personality was one of quietly pulling out a pistol from her pocket and firing at you!

Entering the room, Hector Sutton placed Iris on the bed, seeing her slightly flushed face. He intended to leave, but his gaze couldn’t pull away from her.

Iris was nestled in the center of the soft bed, her hair tousled and spread out, the woman breathed heavily with her eyes closed, exhaling fragrant breath.

Hector Sutton’s mind seed to stall for a mont.

Had he drunk too much, feeling this woman in front of him now seed... rather pleasing?

Objectively speaking, Iris Crawford was indeed beautiful, and impossible not to notice in a crowd. At this mont she was completely defenseless, shedding her typically cold and untouchable facade, like a fragile little fox.

Intuitively, Hector Sutton reached out to brush her hair off her face, worried it might block her breathing, "Hey."

He still didn’t know the woman’s na.

Hector Sutton asked, "Who are you?"

"Help ... so hot..." Iris was muddled, speaking with heated, ambiguous breath. Hearing her soft voice, Hector Sutton’s heart raced.

"I’m asking who you are!" Hector Sutton’s voice trembled slightly, "Don’t use this trick to seduce !"

This woman was surely a vixen, probably flirts with Lachlan Wyatt like this too!

Despite thinking such thoughts, Hector Sutton still leaned closer to Iris’s ear, waiting for her to reveal her identity, at a glance their handso and beautiful entangled proximity on the bed was a rather appealing sight.

"I’m..." Then he heard Iris grit her teeth, resisting a groan to utter two words, "Your... dad..."
