Iris Crawford looked at the photo Lachlan Wyatt had secretly taken. She had originally co to find a bed photo, who would have thought she’d find this in Lachlan’s old phone?
She turned her head to look at Lachlan’s expression, only to see that the face that should have been arrogant and domineering was now full of embarrassnt. After a while, he snatched the phone back, "Why are you flipping through my phone? Don’t you know about personal privacy?"
Iris laughed and said, "You secretly took a photo of ; you’re the one invading my personal privacy, aren’t you?"
"What’s wrong with taking secret photos?"
Lachlan, exasperated, pulled up that ssage and held the bed photo in front of Iris, "This is the photo you should be looking for, don’t randomly flip through the albums in my phone."
"Oh." Iris responded, "I got it. Then just AirDrop this photo to , and I won’t look through the rest."
Lachlan took a deep breath, turned on the phone’s Bluetooth to AirDrop it to Iris, thinking she’d better pretend she hadn’t seen it. Unexpectedly, he suddenly heard Iris say, "The photo looks pretty good. Five years ago, you paid quite a lot of attention to ."
Lachlan felt as if soone had stomped on him, his voice even rose a few pitches, "What do you an? Who paid attention to you five years ago? Don’t flatter yourself! I just took a random picture!"
"Oh. Oh." Iris responded with a voice filled with amusent, then whistled and said, "I didn’t expect it. I used to think I was the one being clingy, but turns out tables have turned."
Lachlan watched Iris’s departing silhouette, words forming in his throat that he couldn’t bring himself to say.
Grinding his teeth, Lachlan ultimately didn’t speak those words. After swallowing them, he said to Iris, "You should investigate whether the photo has traces of Photoshop; at least confirm whether I was deceived..."
In front, Iris laughed out loud again, seemingly mocking his stupidity for being so easily fooled.
Lachlan did not argue back.
He had indeed misunderstood back then, nothing much to say about that.
Now that Evelyn Rowan has appeared, targeting Iris like this, he certainly couldn’t sit back and let it happen!
Who knew that before Iris even left this villa, her phone rang. Picking up, it was her brother Orion Crawford. As soon as the call connected, Orion asked her, "Where are you right now?"
Hearing the urgency in his tone, Iris frowned, "I’m at the previous villa, why..."
"Did you have a conflict with Evelyn Rowan?"
Orion gripped the phone and said, "The Rowan Family has co to our door, where are you right now? Co back to the Crawford Family imdiately!"
Iris’s heart tightened, she hadn’t expected Evelyn Rowan to act so fast, let alone that it would reach Orion. She lowered her head and said, "Brother, let handle this myself, I don’t want to trouble you."
"Co back to the Crawford Family right now!"
Orion spoke with authority, showing how much importance he placed on this matter, "Miss Rowan claims you made her sprain her ankle. Iris, in my eyes, you’re a lively and good girl; I need to know what really happened!"
Iris felt greatly wronged, "In the past, you always supported unconditionally. Why are you blaming today..."
Orion’s heart softened a little, but seeing the Rowan Family at his doorstep, he couldn’t let his tone relax, "In any case, co back now. If soone really got hurt, it’s only right that our family apologizes."
Apologize?
Vincent Paxton couldn’t make her apologize back then, and Evelyn Rowan could?
Iris gritted her teeth; being mistrusted by her loved ones made her particularly upset. After hanging up the phone, she turned and left angrily, her high heels clacking with each step as she gritted her teeth fiercely.
"Where are you going?"
"Your old fla has blown things up to my family, affecting my brother."
As Iris sat down in the Ferrari, she gave Lachlan the finger, "Her vague accusations caused my brother such worry; she can go to hell!"
"What are you going to do!" Lachlan quickly caught up, pulling open the car door and sitting in the passenger seat.
"I’m going to tear her apart myself!" Iris shouted in anger, "I’ll twist her head off and kick it like a ball!"
