424: 424 424: 424 Today is the weekend.

Due to recent events, Gu Fan has been restless.

To put it simply, he has been suffering from insomnia at night, struggling to wake up in the morning, and feeling drowsy at noon.

Thus, he has been ntally drained these past few days and hopes to take full advantage of the weekend to get so rest.

However, early in the morning, Gu Ling barged into his room in high spirits, shouting cheerfully while prodding Gu Fan to wake up.

“Bro, get up quickly.

Look at how beautiful the weather is outside, it’s sunshine and birdsong everywhere.”

“I know, I can feel it too, but that has nothing to do with .

Let sleep in please, it’s the right of us young people.” Gu Fan refused to get up from bed, even though Gu Ling, full of energy, was unceasingly nudging him.

“The weather is so nice, let’s go out and have so fun.

I saw many new shops online, let’s go and check them out.”

“Let’s go tomorrow, let get a good sleep today.” Gu Fan pleaded with a glance, pulling his head back into the blanket.

“Bro, you really are…

Mom and Dad always say it’s because young people like us love sleep-ins, that’s why we feel our days pass by so quickly.

We should cherish this beautiful morning” Gu Ling said, while trying to pull the blankets off him.

Gu Fan was clinging to it for dear life.

Gu Fan protested, “Stop arguing, older folks also like their afternoon naps which makes their afternoons go by just as quickly.

Isn’t it the sa thing ultimately?”

“It’s not the sa.

Afternoon naps are for health, but sleeping in is wasting away the beautiful morning.

Get up and take out.

I want to go out and play.” Gu Ling was blatantly disruptive, giving Gu Fan a headache.

At this ti, Su Hui returned from her night shift and happened to pass by Gu Fan’s room.

Seeing Gu Ling making a fuss while Gu Fan was seemingly suffering inside his blanket, Su Hui felt sorry for Gu Fan for a second, then decided to turn a blind eye.

Gu Ling noticed Su Hui’s return and imdiately ran over for help: “Sister Su, just look at my brother, he has no self-discipline and loves to sleep in.

How could I have such a lazy brother?”

“Yeah, how could you have such a lazy brother.” Su Hui uttered.

However, in her heart, she sympathized with Gu Fan.

How could one have such a botherso sibling?

Gu Ling pleaded to Su Hui miserably, “Sister Su, please help wake up my brother.

No matter what thod you use, if it involves physical force, it will be okay.”

“You really are…” Su Hui shrugged with an exasperated expression, then said, “Only this ti and not again.”

Gu Ling nodded obediently, putting on an adorable face.

She watched with anticipation as Su Hui walked towards Gu Fan.

Looking at how Su Hui sat by the bed, how gently she placed her hand on Gu Fan’s blanket and leaned down, whispering sothing inaudible to Gu Fan’s ear, Gu Fan shot up from the bed imdiately.

Gu Fan looked at Su Hui in astonishnt and said, “Sister Su, you really know what to do.”

“Of course, when have I ever let you down?” After saying that, Su Hui handed a note to Gu Fan.

This note was treasured and tucked away in a safe place by Gu Fan.

“Alright, I’m going to rest now, no more noise.” Saying this, Su Hui gave a slight smile, got up, and headed to her room.

Gu Ling looked at Su Hui with admiration and couldn’t help asking, “Sister Su, you’re amazing, what did you say to my brother?

Teach quickly.”

“Well, children shouldn’t ask too much.” Su Hui entered her room, and just before she shut the door, she gave Gu Ling a wink and said, “If you really want to know, I can teach you, but can you please be quiet and let rest a bit?”

“Okay, no problem, I love listening to you, Sister Su.” Gu Ling said while pretending to be adorable.

The mont she turned her head, she saw Gu Fan ssaging soone.

Instantly displeased, she walked over and pouted: “Bro, are you texting my future sister-in-law, inviting her to co out with us?”

“How could that be?

I’m spending the day specially for you today.” Having finished his ssage, Gu Fan chuckled and affectionately pinched Gu Ling’s nose.

The note Su Hui just handed him contained an address, the location where Ning Qi’s car was parked.

Su Hui had found it through surveillance.

It took a lot of effort to find, and it still needed further observation to see whether it was where Ning Qi stayed for a long ti.

Gu Fan told Lin Xi, Lu Yi, and Jie about the situation, asking them to keep an eye on this address.

They could covertly check out the place and its surrounding environnt to plan for any possible actions.

When everyone asked why Gu Fan wouldn’t go and check the place out today, Gu Fan replied, “Try having an energetic, teasing, and playful sister at ho.

Taking care of a sister is quite exhausting, and I also have to report to our parents about our daily lives.

I need to give them an explanation.”

So for the weekend, he had to accompany Lin Xi at least one day, and the other with his sister, Gu Ling.

Gu Fan felt that he had absolutely no ti for himself.

However, accompanying Lin Xi was kind of a date between them, and no one else could join.

When accompanying Gu Ling, friends could be invited, including Lin Xi, for a group gathering.

Gu Fan originally planned to take Gu Ling to a few places before returning ho, but Gu Ling listed a long itinerary.

Looking at it dumbfounded, all Gu Fan could think about was grabbing a few more minutes of sleep.

“Bro, we can’t let youth slip by.

Get up quickly.” Gu Ling spent a lot of efforts to get Gu Fan up, and she was overjoyed at the thought of the fun they would have today.

It’s often said that the best friendships are ford during high school.

Ironically, Gu Ling spent that ti studying abroad.

As a result, she had very few friends in this town.

She didn’t live in dorms and didn’t have a regular group of friends to hang out with, which was why she was always sticking with Gu Fan.

Of course, Gu Fan was aware of his sister’s situation and was exceptionally sympathetic towards her.

He tried to accompany her as much as possible.

But the problem was, this was too much…

Seeing Gu Ling fully ready and waiting, Gu Fan told himself to be patient.

Maybe Gu Ling will soon make so good friends, start spending ti with them, and not need her brother anymore.

Upon thinking about his sister’s situation, Gu Fan rembered that it had been a long ti since he last contacted his high school friends.

He even thought about the person he had a crush on back then.
