On Olympus Peak, the assembled gods at the victory feast dropped their golden goblets, and the fine wine turned into cold sweat of terror.
The alarm bell rang from the deepest part of the Netherworld, a sound so shrill and desperate that even Hades, the Lord of Death, felt his Divine Soul shuddering.
"Boom——!!!"
At the center of the diterranean, the water surface was torn by an irresistible force, and a "volcano of flesh and blood" a thousand tis larger than Mount Etna burst from the seabed.
Following that, a being truly deserving of the na "Demon Ancestor" slowly rose from within that "volcano."
Its upper body was a twisted humanoid, with muscles knotted and skin branded with Abyssal runes, towering into the clouds as if to pierce the sky. Its arms stretched, one reaching to the land of the eastern sunrise, the other to the western sunset cliff, with countless poisonous snakes writhing and hissing on them.
On its shoulders, instead of a head, there grew a hundred ferocious and terrifying heads of dragons!
So dragon heads spewed Abyssal flas that could lt Divine Gold; so roared Nine Netherworld cold winds that could freeze souls; so emitted demonic sounds that led to corruption... A hundred dragon heads, a hundred powers of Destruction!
Its lower body was ford by two enormously thick serpentine tails, entangled by billions of venomous pythons; every movent caused sky-high waves and violent earthquakes.
When it fully stood up, the entire world was shrouded in its imnse shadow.
It was Typhon.
The "trial" and "lesson" specially crafted by the Taiwei Gods for the Ancestor Dragon.
"Roar——!!!"
A hundred dragon heads simultaneously roared with a sound that shook the Universe. The sound was no longer a re physical attack but a "proclamation" on the level of Law.
"Order... must perish!"
"Light... must fall!"
"Olympus... shall collapse!"
Its very appearance was a negation and declaration of war on the existing world Order.
"To battle!"
The face of the Ancestor Dragon was ashen; he could sense that this monster's Strength was more terrifying than any he had seen before, even more pure and powerful than the shell of the [God of Chaos]!
He wielded Thunder, leading all the Olympus Divines down from the Divine Mountain.
Yet, the ensuing battle turned into a total nightmare.
War God Ares' spear couldn't even pierce Typhon's outermost scale before being lted by the corrosive poison spewed by the dragon heads.
Sun God Apollo's arrow of light struck Typhon like a drop of water falling into the sea, without creating a single ripple.
Fire God Hephaestus's proud volcanic lava, in the face of Typhon's Abyssal flas, was but a gentle candle fla.
Even the Ancestor Dragon himself, wielding Thunder strengthened by Pangu's Dao Rhythms, could only make Typhon pause briefly, then suffer even more violent counterattacks.
Typhon's hundred dragon heads were a hundred Demon Gods proficient in different Laws.
They coordinated with each other flawlessly, sotis setting the sky ablaze, sotis freezing the ground, sotis filling the air with demonic sound, other tis engulfing it with venom...
The Olympus Gods fought fiercely.
But soon they were defeated, retreating step by step.
So Divines were swallowed by dragon heads, their Divine Status shattered on the spot.
So were bewildered by the demonic sound, losing their minds, turning against each other.
More Divines suffered heavy wounds in the aftershocks of the catastrophic attacks, their Divine Power exhausted.
Ultimately, Typhon advanced with strides that could cross mountain ranges, thodically and unstoppably, towards Mount Olympus.
"Boom!"
It stretched out its massive hand and grabbed the base of Mount Olympus.
"Rise!"
With an earth-shattering roar, this sacred mountain symbolizing the God King's rule and the Universe's Order was uprooted completely!
Mountains cracked, temples collapsed, countless ancient Spirit Veins and Arrays shattered in an instant.
Mount Olympus fell!
"Retreat! Quickly retreat!"
The Ancestor Dragon's eyes were filled with rage; he knew this battle could no longer be fought.
Continuing would lead to the total annihilation of the entire Olympus divine system.
He issued the most humiliating order of his life.
"Retreat towards Egypt! Quickly!"
The remaining Olympus Gods were overjoyed as if granted amnesty.
Their instinct to survive overca the dignity of the Divines.
God King Zeus transford into a ram, fleeing in panic.
Heavenly Empress Hera turned into a white cow, utterly disheveled.
Sun God Apollo beca a raven, frantically circling in the sky.
Moon God Artemis beca a cat, darting into the dense forest.
...
The gods retreated to Egypt.
What was rely a few words in the original myth has beco, at this mont, an incredibly real and humiliating scene.
Typhon stood atop the ruins of the fallen Mount Olympus, a hundred dragon heads howling to the sky, declaring his victory and the arrival of a new, dark era.
A few great figures viewing the water mirror showed a gratifying and "kindly" smile at the sight of the fleeing gods and the almost apoplectic Ancestor Dragon.
"Yes, knowing sha leads to courage, understanding strategic retreat is a fundantal quality of achieving great things."
"Good."
"This child can be taught."
Primordial True Realm.
Here lay a scene entirely different.
Under the diligent governance of Heavenly Emperor Di Jun and the Heavenly Court gods, the entire Primordial World entered an unprecedented, long-lasting, and splendid era of peace. The Ten Thousand Races fused, Order was orderly, the Great Dao manifested, and Spiritual Energy was abundant. Everything seed to develop harmoniously towards the most perfect direction.
