Chapter 683: Chapter 356 Cautious Nicholas_2
B-level items, leftover from making [Magnetic Crystal Heavy Domain] earlier.
Robbin’s spirit shook slightly, and he eagerly rubbed the device, “I was just planning to find a Gravity Cabin. My previous spaceship had a small one, but the maximum was only ten tis gravity.”
He really admired Li Ming for being the kind of rich guy who solves everything by throwing money.
“So, what else do you need to do next?” he asked proactively.
“Just wait,” Li Ming replied nonchalantly.
Robbin scratched his head. He decided to leave it be, hugged the Gravity Generator, and returned to his room.
“A door-to-door search…” Li Ming mused over Robbin’s words briefly, opened the navigation map, and located the chanic Association, “It seems they offer forge room rentals here…”
He tidied himself up, stepped out, and headed straight to the chanic Association via his Flying Device.
Most branches of the chanic Association offer forge room rentals, mainly for chanics traveling or exploring abroad.
“Apologies, uncertified Interdiate chanics cannot rent forge rooms…” The ssage from the service terminal left Li Ming speechless.
After pondering for a mont, he spent half a day to pass the Basic chanic examination and then cleared the Interdiate test.
For him, this naturally posed no difficulty, and afterward, he spent a million Star Coins to rent a B-level forge room for ten days.
“Respectable chanic, any damage inside the forge room will incur additional charges.” The service terminal inside reminded. The room wasn’t particularly large, densely packed with various forging equipnt.
The first thing that caught his eye was the massive High-Temperature Furnace made of thick black tal. It emitted a faint dark red glow, like a burning, beating heart. The exterior was covered with intricate heat dissipation patterns.
The one million Star Coins covered only the venue rent; all materials ca with additional costs.
Li Ming glanced at the service terminal briefly and found the prices weren’t excessively marked up, far less than on the Black Hole Network.
“Resonance Crystal, Scania Crystal, Psychedelic Jellyfish Juice, Flexible Alloy…” He carefully selected a large assortnt of materials.
For the next three or four days, Li Ming only went out once and stayed in the forge room the rest of the ti.
In front of a laser cutting machine, Li Ming’s gaze was sharp and focused. The slender laser nozzle emitted a blazing, razor-sharp beam, slicing through the crystal in his hand. The silver-gray tallic surface had embedded blue energy indicator lights that flickered continuously.
The clinking of tals accompanied by sporadic sparks illuminated the scene. On the forging platform, the fine grinder was compact yet highly agile; its multi-jointed chanical arms bent freely, while the spinning tip rotated briskly, producing a faint hum.
Sizzle—
A viscous dark-green liquid bubbled, with rising green vapor extracted by the overhead vacuum system.
Psychedelic Jellyfish Juice possessed potent hallucinogenic properties.
As the machinery worked, chanical clamps extracted a thumb-sized rhombus-shaped crystal radiating a purple glow. Its edges seed to shimr faintly with a green hue.
The crystal was placed into an Ion Injection Machine, its vast cylindrical container flashing with arcs of blue lightning, surrounded by complexly intertwined pipes and circuits.
Once the dazzling light settled, robotic arms retrieved the crystal and embedded it into a pre-forged alloy housing with precision-tight seams.
[Mind Energy Crystal–B-level: A unique necklace forged by chanic Li Ming.]
[Control Conditions: Six hundred thousand tal energy.]
[Control Effect: Perception Boost–500%.]
[Control Ability–Mind Control: Can manipulate B-level life forms and disrupt B-level entities.]
“Perfect, this ability is just right,” Li Ming grinned. Instead of further upgrades, he imdiately advanced it to A-level, consuming six million tal energy.
[Mind Control] now allowed control of B-level entities and disruption of A-level ones.
After stowing away the necklace, Li Ming turned toward the other end of the forge room. Suspended by robust tal chains was an enormous apparatus crafted of silver-white tal. It had three turbine openings on its surface, through which countless energy conduits interlaced like delicately woven tal webs, glimring faintly with electrical pulses.
The ticulously aligned tal components boasted impeccable precision, and the energy core resembled a brilliant pearl, surrounded by protective layers that emanated strong and stable pulses.
[Dinsion Transition Engine–Special Type: A disassembled spaceship engine from a dinsion-traveling vessel.]
[Control Conditions: Seven million tal energy.]
[Control Ability–Dinsional Travel: Requires a five-minute activation to pierce through dinsional barriers, leaving the current Dinsion World.]
This device was indeed salvaged from a dinsion-traveling spaceship. The complete ship was beyond his control, but this engine was within his grasp.
The functionality was roughly as he had anticipated. The only surprise was that this item was classified as a special type of Controlled Object.
His spaceship, originally stolen from the Holy Mother Church, had decent performance. Its activation ti was rely five minutes.
With no level restrictions, as long as interference was avoided, even S-Class Dinsion Worlds were traversable.
At the Central World, all dinsion-traveling ships were docked at specific locations, requiring registration for departure. This was how Nicholas managed to track every marked individual attempting to leave.
“In that case, I should be able to bypass restrictions and depart freely,” Li Ming contemplated. Though controlling this device wasn’t cheap, his remaining tal energy had dwindled to just over forty million.
After so thought, he temporarily stored it in Folded Space, not rushing to activate Control.
“Hmm, the warp engines used in Main Universe navigation should be manipulable as well…” he pondered.
But on second thought, while Control was possible, it wouldn’t allow him to instantly reach his destination. Traveling physically along warp pathways felt excessively draining, better to utilize the ti for developing Genetic Seeds.
Originally estimating ten days to forge the [Mind Energy Crystal], Li Ming completed the task in rely four. After arranging for a refund, he left the chanic Association and returned to his hotel to continue working on Genetic Seeds.
Another seven days later, Li Ming sat within the Gravity field’s range, simultaneously developing Genetic Seeds and monitoring gravity-free virtual screens displaying basic overview maps and video feeds.
“…,[Dark Matter Splitting Hamr], a mighty Star Annihilation Cannon located at the Star Abyss Empire Station, previously showcased by Jaint when dealing with the Dominion Holy Image…”
The footage displayed a black beam cutting across the breadth of the Central World.
This was sothing he had stumbled upon while researching past events.
[Dark Matter Splitting Hamr] was unmistakably a Star Destroyer Cannon, deployed quite early but reportedly dormant for ages.
It was initially used for defense, targeting massive life forms roaming Dinsion Worlds.
Not only did the Star Abyss Empire employ such weaponry at its station, but several other civilizations and factions likely had their own equivalents.
This all tied to a historical issue: these Dinsion Worlds were originally separate and often engaged in mutual hostilities.
Li Ming skimd through his screen with sharp eyes, absorbing various information. After two to three hours, he glanced at the ti and switched to his [Communicator], routinely checking Lord Azure Dragon’s Black Hole Network backend.
His Black Hole Network account was no secret now. Plenty of users added him, including so S-Class entities and Casting Star chanics, though he ignored them all.
Today felt different.
“Finally,” Li Ming exhaled deeply, putting away [Magnetic Crystal Heavy Domain] as he stared at the screen’s label–Holy Mother Church.
He had been curious for quite so ti about what exactly the Eternal Silence Star was.
After accepting the friend request, the other party initiated a voice-only communication fifteen minutes later.
Having prepared himself, Li Ming answered, and a soft voice resonated, “Lord Azure Dragon, greetings on our first exchange.”
Their attitude was highly courteous, with an undertone of calming strength imbued in their voice.
“How should I address you?” Li Ming asked placidly.
“Call Prophet.” Prophet? Li Ming’s gaze turned peculiar. The title “Prophet” was exclusively reserved for special leaders of the Sister’s Heretical Cult, passed down across generations, according to his limited knowledge.
The Prophet inherited more than just the title; seemingly, other legacies were involved, earning imnse reverence within the Holy Mother Church.
