"Three days and three nights have passed, and there’s still no word from the explorers who went there. Could this guy’s information be fake?"

"No, no, I swear, it’s absolutely the truth!" The bound figure on the ground hurriedly responded, with his golden hair disheveled, revealing those brown pupils through the gaps, his eyes filled with fear and unease.

"If they don’t co back, you’ll be joining them in death," soone in the shadows snapped coldly.

Another hour or two passed, and in the dim, cramped environnt, the atmosphere grew increasingly tense.

Suddenly, the slender crack in the central area began to shake unstably, spraying out so thick liquid, and faint terrifying roars could be heard.

"Spatial parater fluctuations, the dinsional gateway is unstable!"

"Is sothing coming out?"

Noise erupted from everywhere as the crack shook more violently, and everyone was on high alert.

At last, with a loud roar, a towering figure squeezed out from the central crack.

"Close it! Close it!" The voice fell to the ground, urging repeatedly, as if sothing horrifying was chasing after him.

Crack! A crisp sound like glass shattering rang out.

At the sa ti, the central crack abruptly closed, dropping from midair a human arm encased in a tal shell, with white smoke coming from the wound and the fingers still twitching.

"Huff..." The massive figure gasped for air, his white combat armor sared with blood, multiple spots even pierced through, blood oozing out incessantly, as people quickly ca forward to treat his wounds.

"This is soone from the Dinsion Vanguard Camp of the Star Abyss Empire," soone picked up the severed arm from the ground, saw the irregular circular emblem, and looked horrified, then glared coldly at the figure lying on the ground,

"You said they were from the Holy Silver Civilization, how did you manage to provoke the Dinsion Vanguard Camp of the Star Abyss Empire?"

"I... I..." The figure lying on the ground couldn’t speak, but the life form in combat armor waved his hand, "Don’t bla him, that place was originally supposed to belong to the Holy Silver Civilization but was occupied by the Star Abyss Empire."

"Indeed it’s linked to so big secret, unfortunately, I only brought out one... a stone."

With that, he opened up his tightly clenched right hand, revealing a black, irregularly shaped stone.

"This item had very strict security asures, the mont I touched it, it triggered a pursuit from those Vanguard Officers." The Vanguard Officer furrowed his brows, examining the object in his hand carefully: "However, I don’t feel anything special about this thing..."

"Ha..." An untily laugh suddenly broke the silence, and the Vanguard Officer’s face stiffened, his pupils sharply constricted, in disbelief he looked down to see a black blade protruding from his chest.

Before he could react, the blade sliced upwards, cleaving his head apart, brain matter and blood spewing forth.

Those around widened their eyes in terror.

There, the golden-haired youth who should have been tied up in a corner, had at so point broken free of his bonds, was holding a black chanical long sword in his hand.

"You... you... how could you..." soone gasped in disbelief.

"Tsk tsk..." The golden-haired youth’s left hand rose from his forehead, brushing back his hanging hair to reveal a rather handso face, smiling gracefully: "Thank you all for the assistance."

"You..." soone’s face filled with anger, electric sparks flying, but in the next mont, black shadows flitted through the dim, cramped space, in just a few seconds bodies and blood were scattered everywhere.

The golden-haired young man shook his trouser legs with a look of distaste, then walked over to the pool of blood, picked up the irregular black stone from the ground.

Holding it between his fingers and examining it closely in the light, his face showing a hint of bewildernt, "This thing is... why does it feel so familiar."

"All this trouble for just a small stone?" He shook his head, "That place turned out to be occupied by the Star Abyss Empire, good thing I didn’t make a move personally, otherwise attracting the attention of those madn from the Vanguard Camp would have been troubleso."

Nonchalantly, he walked to a corner, picked up an inconspicuous backpack, and pulled out a chanical skull the size of a baby’s head, gleaming purple and gold.

"...Butler..." The man with the golden hair patted the top of the skull.

The chanical skull’s eyes suddenly lit up with a green glow, then flickered, appearing sowhat unstable, and after a mont, a deep voice erged, "Robbin?"

"As long as it’s not crashed, take a look, do you recognize this thing?" Robbin placed the black stone in his hand in front of the Skull.

"I do." The Skull emitted a sure response.

"Ha... then hurry up and tell ." Robbin urged.

"Sorry, you do not have the relevant permissions." The voice was gentle but firm.

Robbin’s face fell, not surprised, just followed up: "What kind of permissions do I need to know?"

"If it’s just the na, A-level permissions would suffice, but to know its specific origins and uses, S-level permissions are needed." The Skull explained, its voice carrying a hint of perplexity: "Have you not beco an A-level Life Form yet?"

"After becoming an A-level Life Form, A-level permissions can be unlocked."

"Fuck, it pisses off just talking about it." Robbin rolled up his sleeves irritatedly: "Night Moon Laboratory told there was an accident in the modulation, the Genetic Seed is destroyed, and I need to wait another three months."

"I see, that’s a sha." The tone of the Skull was indifferent.

"Sha my ass, that’s what they told . The truth is soone snatched my Genetic Seed." Robbin snorted coldly: "Seems to be so big shot, appears to be an S-level Life Form, and more than one person is behind it."

"Snatched by soone?" The voice of the Skull was surprised, highly intelligent, "The Genetic Seed was specially designed by , not belonging to any Genetic Sequence, how could it be snatched..."

"Who knows." Robbin ground his teeth: "Survival of the fittest, actually I don’t care, it’s just a three-month wait, after all, they paid the penalty fee, what pisses off is they actually lied to , treating like a fool."

"Forget it, forget it, let’s not talk about this." Robbin was feeling dejected, "Old rules, if you can’t bypass the permissions to tell what this is, then tell , should I keep it or throw it away."

"Better not to keep it." The Skull pondered for a mont.

"To throw it away?" Robbin mused, turning the stone over in his hand from different angles, "I always feel like I’ve seen it sowhere before."

"Impossible, at your level, you should not be privy to it." The Skull negated.

"Be more tactful next ti you say such things..." Robbin said, his face changing as if he rembered sothing, then took out a smart terminal from his bag, only to find that there was no signal.

His face showed resignation, he took his long sword and went out the door, followed by a good five or six minutes of wailing.

Finally, he sat in the bloodstained chair, the pool of blood on the floor covering his feet, the thick scent of blood wafting through the small base, fiddling with his smart terminal in his hand.

"Found it!" His eyes narrowed, staring at the photo on the screen. In the photo was also a black stone, extrely similar to the one in his hand.

Only the shape was slightly different, but the material and luster looked very similar.

"Take a look, is it the sa thing?" He held the screen in front of the Skull.

"High probability, it’s the sa thing." The Skull uncertain.

"Ha... it says here, this thing feels warm to the touch, should be right." Robbin chuckled, pocketing the smart terminal: "I rember now, when I was bored a while back, browsing the backend of the Hall, I ca across this bounty."

The bounty was straightforward, even offering a reward just for clues.

"If I have a stone, what will they give ?" Robbin rubbed his hands together eagerly, but his face changed slightly when he opened the details of the person who posted the mission: "Just a Basic mber?"

To a certain extent, the mber level at Black Hole Hall indicates a person’s strength and skill.

The task poster turned out to be just a Basic mber, which made him reconsider.

"No, with the housekeeper here even A-level permissions only get a na, whoever posted this task must not be simple." Thinking through this, his confidence was restored.

"Robbin, I suggest you exercise caution in contacting them, the level of this item is not sothing you can get involved with right now." The Skull cautioned.

"Don’t worry, at most I’m just delivering the goods, I won’t ddle." Robbin waved his hand unconcerned, it wasn’t the first ti he was reminded by the housekeeper.
