270: Chapter 149: Overlimit Railgun!
Blast the Warship!_2 270: Chapter 149: Overlimit Railgun!
Blast the Warship!_2 Only three C-level life forms were chasing after him; if that was the case…
Boom!
Another energy light column, cutting off his path forward, but this ti, Li Ming didn’t dodge or evade, charging straight into the blaze.
“Shit!” The three pursuers’ eyelids twitched, “What are the warship’s crew doing?
The chief wanted him captured alive.
What if they kill him?”
“They won’t kill him.
He charged in willingly,” another person shook their head, also coming to a stop.
Several bursts of fire were dazzling; directly ahead was the fiery cluster that Li Ming had charged into.
“Be careful.
The kid has weapons in the box on his back, and his own strength is formidable,” one warned.
The three spread out, blocking three directions, their eyes vigilant as they cautiously advanced.
Suddenly, the flas flickered and broke open, a burly shadow surged out at great speed, charging straight at one of them.
“Not good!” The person’s pupils contracted as a golden glow burst from their chest, particles coalescing into a brilliant shield.
“Useless!”
The voice from the cha resonated dully through its hollow interior.
The silver Thunderstorm Greatsword ca crashing down, electric arcs shooting out.
The golden energy shield shattered, particles scattered, and the montum of the sword was unabated, cleaving the person in two on the spot!
“What…
What!?”
The remaining two were dumbfounded on the spot, their hearts in shock.
A C-level life form, cut down so easily?
Where did this cha co from?
They couldn’t comprehend it, nor did they have the ti to.
Robust and majestic, the air was filled with Thunder’s presence, mixed with flas.
The Tan Guard cha’s surface was covered with azure patterns, its electromagnetic field expanding–dust rose from the ground forming waves, the montum awe-inspiring.
“Finally, I can have a proper fight!” Li Ming, feeling the overwhelming power surging within, activated “Thunderstorm Fervor” with the cha in full victory state.
Any C-level life form with less than 90% developnt progress was no match for him.
Boom!
Li Ming’s sword cleaved forth, creating a nearly ten-ter-long wave of Thunder-cutting through the earth, sending soil flying like a tidal wave, instantly filling the enemy’s field of view with electric arcs.
The remaining two went pale, reacting quickly as flas erupted and stones condensed, blasting the close-range lightning into a sky of electric arcs.
Swish!
The next instant, a piercing cold light swept in, slashing down sharply, with Li Ming following closely behind like an arrow released from its bow.
The attack was fierce and swift, going straight for the face, giving no chance to the opponent.
Lightning struck the ground, shockwaves scattering, turning the soil in a radius of dozens of ters into fissured rock.
In the blink of an eye, there were over a dozen fierce clashes, sparks flying, the three twisting and turning about, the errant energy wildly spraying.
Suddenly, from behind the cha, six chanical limbs shot out, taking the opponents by surprise.
The Thunderstorm Greatsword cleaved into the opponent’s shoulder but got caught in the heavy armor.
Just as Li Ming was about to press the attack, a prismatic shield rapidly ford, and a barrage of red light columns bombarded from above, the warship displaying its might.
Energy light columns fell like rain, enveloping Li Ming’s surroundings, nearly subrging him.
The remaining two quickly retreated, with the severely injured person hurriedly taking out a first-aid kit, an air-gelling gel wrapping around the upper body that was nearly split by Li Ming, their face deathly pale.
…
Waves churned, electric arcs burst forth, both of Luo Chuan’s arms were covered with scales, the ground riddled with cracks as he panted for breath.
This battle of six had turned hundreds of ters around them into ruins, felling trees in the process.
Even a three-on-three confrontation wasn’t easy; the opponents were clearly just dragging things out, waiting for those who went after Li Ming to return before dealing with them.
“We must find a way, otherwise we’re certain to be worn down here,” Doral gritted his teeth, glanced at Feder hiding in the distance, and said solemnly:
“In a bit, Titan and I will fight to the death to hold them off.
Lord Luo Chuan, please take Lord Feder away from here.”
Luo Chuan’s heart trembled slightly, knowing these two also realized they couldn’t expect him to stay and fight desperately; they could only have him leave with Feder.
He felt no burden toward these two and was about to agree, but suddenly turned his head to look in another direction.
The warship floating in the sky continually fired red energy light columns, seemingly bombarding a certain location incessantly.
“Hmm?” Luo Chuan imdiately felt sothing was amiss, it was the direction where Li Ming was fleeing.
Three C-class life forms, plus the blockade by the warship, Li Ming shouldn’t stand any chance of resisting.
What could have gone wrong?
The three mbers of the Torch Organization glanced at each other and drew back in unison, rapidly heading towards the direction of the bombardnt.
Clearly, within the scope of their mission, Li Ming was of higher priority than anything else.
Doral didn’t understand what was happening but was also relieved; he had been ready to make a noble sacrifice, not expecting this twist in events.
Luo Chuan, too, didn’t hesitate and followed close behind the trio, heading towards the site of the bombardnt.
“Lord Luo Chuan!” Doral couldn’t help but call out.
“Let’s go, to see,” Feder walked up rapidly, his eyes seemingly filled with a certain expectation.
“Your Highness!” Doral was frantic, “Why go and court death again?
Those people clearly want to capture Li Ming.
If we had split up from him before, we would have been safe.”
Feder frowned, “It’s too late to say anything now.
We are all trapped on this small island; no one can leave, and there’s nowhere to run.
It’s better to see if there’s a chance.”
Doral couldn’t argue with Feder and could only lead him forward.
Luo Chuan was beside himself with urgency as he swiftly approached the bombarded area.
The three individuals ahead took no notice of him,
Suddenly, his step faltered; he had nearly reached the heart of the battlefield, his eyes gradually widening.
In the center of the field stood a tall cha, its energy shield a strange silver-white, undulating like waves, looking on the verge of collapse under the relentless bombardnt.
Not far off, there were several chunks of corpses, rendered unrecognizable by the aftermath of the combat.
“What is that!?” A cry of alarm ca from behind – it was Doral, staring in shock.
“That’s Li Ming,” Feder couldn’t help but laugh, “I knew it, I just knew it!”
Doral was confused, but the five mbers of the Torch Organization had regrouped.
One was gravely injured, and the remaining four, with solemn expressions, were ready to spring into action.
“Quick, assist Li Ming!” Luo Chuan shouted, looking up at the patrol ship but feeling the situation tricky; with that patrol ship following, it was impossible to deal with!
In that mont, Li Ming suddenly bellowed angrily, “Have you shot enough?”
With a swift roll, he moved out of the bombardnt zone, but the warship’s fire control system closely followed.
The energy shield burst at once, as the silver particles that had clung to it had now spread to the six chanical arms on his back, making them significantly thicker.
Shortly after, a faint golden energy erged from nowhere, swiftly covering them, and as dense golden patterns enveloped everything, the chanical arms swelled once more and trembled uncontrollably, as if overloaded.
The chanical Research Scholar’s ability—[Temporary Optimization: Consuming equivalent tal energy to enhance the abilities of Controlled Objects.]
At the ends of the chanical arms, the Energy Confinent Devices gathered together.
Following this, the Thunder Elent boost obtained through the Thunderstorm Fervor was forcefully infused into the chanical arms, with deep blue patterns spreading rapidly, the whirring sound intensifying, and electrical arcs crackling violently.
The Sword Wing Knight’s ability—[Sword Armor: allows the user’s abilities to be affixed to the sword body, as well as to vehicles.]
The chanical arms weren’t sword bodies or vehicles and shouldn’t be able to use this ability.
However, under Materialization, when fitted onto the Tan Guard, they were considered part of a vehicle.
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
Li Ming’s cha montarily withstood several of the red light columns, leaving streaks of black marks on the tal surface, clanging continuously.
Almost instantly, the ends of the six chanical arms gathered deep blue energy balls that expanded to the size of a head.
Superlimit chanical Electromagnetic Cannon!
Boom!
A deep blue light column shot out thunderously, sending ripples of air waves around it.
The incoming red light columns were directly absorbed.
Like an arrow of the gods, it pierced the night sky, striking the patrol ship, its energy shield flickering, rapidly overloading and then shattering.
Boom!
The light column sliced across the warship, cutting it in two.
An endless chain of explosions happened inside it, with splashes of fire scattering and the broken carcass plumting to the ground.
Luo Chuan looked on, dumbfounded.
Doral was completely baffled.
The mbers of the Torch Organization gaped in disbelief, an uncontrollable sense of panic rising within them.
What on earth is this thing!
