His will should have flowed within the Eternal Abyss, yet it relied on the Eternal Abyss Heart.
Now, with two Controllers, his will was instead locked within his body.
In other words, this ti, he would truly die.
He never thought he would face death, yet when this emotion first erged, it made him sowhat anxious, followed by anger, and he let out a furious roar, "I am the Eternal Abyss!"
In rage, he struck out, hitting Li Ming’s chest head-on, only to hear a crack, with his chest collapsing.
But imdiately, the Eternal Holy Seat activated, and the injury vanished completely.
The Abyss Lord’s advantage was gone, but Li Ming’s advantage remained.
"What a coincidence, I am also the Eternal Abyss."
Li Ming grinned slightly, and now he finally entered the rhythm he was familiar with.
"Impossible!" The Abyss Lord roared in anger, and then charged forward recklessly, seemingly abandoning everything. Even without the blessing of the Eternal Abyss, he equally disregarded caution, trading blow for blow.
But the injuries on Li Ming’s body kept healing, while his own injuries continued to worsen.
The battle went on for an unknown amount of ti, seeming both extrely long, and yet not very long at all.
Crack--
The Abyss Lord’s vessel was already so battered it was beyond recognition, seeming to finally reach its limit, suddenly shattering, gradually disintegrating into crystal fragnts.
Amidst the fragnts, Li Ming could vaguely see a blurred light shadow and hear the Abyss Lord’s voice--
"I am the Eternal Abyss, why, why... why would it accept you."
"Why?" Li Ming mused slightly, "Maybe because I’m so handso?"
At that instant, the sense of scrutiny around him beca unprecedentedly solid and then suddenly dispersed.
That light shadow disintegrated, disappearing completely.
"Was he angered to death just like that?" Li Ming’s expression turned odd as he rubbed his chin, "His consciousness couldn’t escape this vessel? To fight to the bitter end."
He felt strange, but imdiately, a flash of rainbow light occupied his field of view.
Upon closer inspection, it was the area where the Abyss Lord faded away, gradually consolidating into a rainbow flow, about the length of an arm.
Li Ming’s breath stalled, instantly realizing sothing, in a flash appearing in front of the colorful rainbow flow, cautiously extending his finger.
Sure enough, that rainbow flow fused into his finger, gradually absorbed by the Control System, disappearing completely without a trace in monts.
On the control page, a new source of energy appeared.
[Evolutionary Rainbow Flow: Can facilitate the Ultimate Gene Seed’s further transformation]
It was indeed the key material to evolve into Super Ultimate!
"Ha..." Li Ming couldn’t help but laugh loudly, the path of evolution unveiled, finally no longer lost.
After a slight adjustnt, Li Ming scanned around, confirming there was indeed nothing left.
"The Abyss Lord has been wiped out, let see what other powers remain." Li Ming slowly closed his eyes, deeply experiencing that marvelous feeling once again.
Gradually, his consciousness elevated, elevated, his intangible vision becoming wider and wider, moving from the Deep Dinsion World, to the Shallow Dinsion World, and up to the Main Universe...
He understood then, the place where the Abyss Fog was located, lying within his view.
No wonder the Abyss Lord’s consciousness could no longer leave the vessel, as with two "Sovereigns", control was balanced between them, neither able to fully imrsetheir consciousness within the Eternal Abyss.
"So, I can also control the rollback of the Abyss Fog then..." Li Ming attempted to operate it, though sowhat clumsy, as it was his first ti acting as the Controller of the Eternal Abyss.
However, he had the ti to learn slowly.
...
"Still no movent?" Abel couldn’t help but ask.
In the core command room of the Wandering Fleet, the screen divided into countless small pieces, each observation station located at the boundary of the Abyss Fog. Malcolm and others gathered, seemingly anxiously waiting for sothing.
"The Azure Dragon just set out half a month ago, even if resolved, it wouldn’t be so fast." Antigo couldn’t help but remind.
Everyone remained silent, having strong faith in Li Ming, and therefore more eager to see hope.
For fifteen years, they truly gave everything, extracting all available tal materials.
If there were no results, not only would people below go mad, they themselves wouldn’t be any better off.
Everyone waited anxiously here, finally, after another month and a half, an observer shouted loudly, "Change, it’s changed!"
Hm?
Everyone’s gaze instantly concentrated, only to hear the observer add, "14577 Abyss Fog region, expanding again!"
What? Expanding!?
Everyone was taken aback, nearly unable to react. Malcolm’s face turned pale, his heart squeezed fiercely, as if slapped twice, his face entirely numb.
But imdiately, a series of voices sounded--
"14677 Abyss Fog region shrinking..."
"15411 Abyss Fog region shrinking..."
"13794 Abyss Fog region shrinking..."
"It’s shrinking, it’s shrinking, the entire Abyss Fog region has shrunk!" The excited head of observation shouted loudly.
Malcolm’s face gradually regained color, clutching his heart retreating slowly, his hands shaking.
Abel clenched his fists, his voice low, "Won, won!"
...
In the twentieth year of the Wandering Era, the tal materials collection team that had been operational for years announced its dissolution.
Soon after, the United Fleet issued a statent that the Abyss Fog had begun to recede, and they would dispatch advance exploration ships to observe if the interstellar environnt was suitable for residence.
The news sparked rejoicing among countless interstellar citizens, who wept on the spot.
Thirty years into the Wandering Era, the Abyss Fog continued to recede, and the first batch of advance exploration fleets reported back with surveys, many civilized planets still existed, though surface structures showed obvious signs of decay and might require a lot of ti for rebuilding.
Fifty years into the Wandering Era, traces of Abyss Fog in the Main Universe were nearly gone, many interstellar civilizations began returning in batches.
After being away for fifty years, many life forms roared towards the sky.
A century into the Wandering Era, traces of Abyss Fog completely vanished from the Shallow Dinsion World, most civilizations had returned ho, and rebuilding work proceeded orderly.
That sa year, the Three Great Civilizations announced a joint proclamation that, after overcoming the difficulties and dangers of the Wandering Era, they decided to set aside past differences and jointly establish a larger interstellar civilization community, nad--Star Federation.
They also elaborated on the contributions and role of the Azure Dragon during the Abyss Fog disaster, awarding it the Star Federation’s highest honor, "Star of Rebirth"!
Within the sa year, the Chaotic Star Gap was redefined and nad the "Glory Star Gap", tightly protected by the Star Federation, becoming a tourist attraction.
In the sa year, the Star Federation convened an interstellar conference, with the three Governors jointly delivering speeches, live signals broadcasting to every corner of interstellar civilization.
"...the century-long Wandering Era, compared to the heavy history of interstellar civilization, might seem insignificant, yet everything that occurred within these hundred years will be forever rembered by us..." Malcolm spoke solemnly.
"...the Wandering Era has completely beco the past, the fallen are heroes, while the living carry their hopes..." Antigo expressed gravely.
Abel’s tone was fervent, "...without destruction, there can be no construction, and the birth of the Star Federation signifies an even better future for interstellar..."
Throughout every corner, people listened quietly, perhaps recalling their erstwhile relatives, tears streaming down.
"Finally, a special guest is here today."
On the screen, the three stood aside, allowing a silhouette to gradually appear, clearly.
At that mont, the interstellar erupted in cheers, countless people shouting his na, echoing across the heavens.
Li Ming smiled, "Welco, everyone, to the New Era."
That sa year, the Wandering Era was abolished, ushering in the New Era, with surviving remnants of civilization from the outer reaches of the universe beginning to trickle in, attempting to integrate into the Star Federation.
......
The virtual projection before him gradually faded, and Li Ming couldn’t help feeling a little dazed, brushing his cheeks, shaking his head.
He turned around and returned to the developnt room, taking out a specially-made developnt potion. To prepare the developnt potion for the Ultimate Life stage consud astonishing amounts of resources.
He gulped it down in one go, thoughts inevitably wandering back to after he had gathered the Abyss Fog, where he kept exploring further into the deep dinsions, witnessing that marvelous and magnificent world.
The interstellar was bustling, and yet he had a very simple task, as energy particles enveloped his body’s surface, "Developing the gene seed further is the obvious choice."
